The Cardigan Estate is now under the rule of The Brothers. Everything is going well—apart from rumours saying another patch boss, Richie Lime, wants to take The Estate as his own.

Sarah got away from Lime months ago, although her former pimp has been looking for her, waiting for that moment to reel her back in. They share a secret, and he’s on a mission to let her know he hasn’t forgotten it.

Debbie should be happy with running the brothel behind her pub, The Angel, but she isn’t. Not until she finds out who really killed Cardigan. When she does, only a murder can bring her peace.

Beth is tangled up in Lime’s wicked game, and she has no choice but to do what he wants. Being chained up and starved in a basement has seen to that. Although not everything is as it seems, and she works out a way to keep her gran safe from the blade of Lime’s knife, a threat he dangles over her.

Murder, lies, and corruption. Life on The Cardigan Estate still isn’t pretty.

This is the second book in the cardigan series and I loved the way the story continues on with the brothers taking over and aiming to keep control.

The focus of this book is Richie Lane and his desire of wanting to take over no matter the cost.

This book was just as good as the first one. I cant wait to read book three.
