An interactive book that gives you tools to rewrite your story and then challenges you to use them.

I have to admit, I thought this was going to be a quick and easy read. I was wrong. The author, Carrie Rowan, gives you a ton of tools to rewrite the negative stories we keep telling ourselves and others, and she doesn't stop there. At the end of each chapter, she challenges you to dig deeply and write in your journal and put those tools to use. She challenges you to write down your stories, to think about the messages you are conveying, and how you can tell a new story. by focusing on the positive even when the circumstances may have made you angry or sad. As I read this book, I often felt like I was sitting in her living room having a conversation with her as her family went about their day. Lastly, I really loved how she made the book even more interactive by seamlessly weaving in her songs and meditations. This was truly a great book that I'll continue to reference as I work on telling new stories and learn to be present in the moment.

It was pretty much everything I've read in a Joe Dispenza book and heard on Tony Robbins podcast before with her songs thrown in at the end of most chapters. But she definitely is talented, genuine, and has a great outlook on life which I appreciate. The book itself is not my cup of tea but I'm obsessed with author and who she is and this book will definitely help many others.
