Another hit for Lola West! Once again, her writing completely captivated me and put a huge smile on my face. I’m a sucker for the friends since childhood trope and this had all the sentimentality that goes along with it and made my heart happy! Excellent second chance romance that felt natural and realistic.

Sidenote: I’m not as enthusiastic about this cover as I was about the previous covers but not enough to even try and explain lol it’s the aesthetics of all three … this one doesn’t seem to match as well as the others *shrug* and yes, I am completely aware that I’m a cover snob. Handle it. Lol

Lola West's sophomore release, has me questioning why it's taken me so long to fully get on board with the whole cowboy thing. I seriously adore these men and their little Montana town so much it hurts. The cast of characters that inhabit this world are so real and true to life they make you never want to leave.
Her Comeback centers around the eldest Morgan brother, the ever grumpy Billy, and his highschool sweetheart and the one who got away, Kat.
Ten years ago, Billy and Kat belonged together. Until they didn’t.
Kat lives the life of a rockstar. But after her last album flopped, she returns to her hometown in the hopes of reminding her fans that she is the small town girl everyone loves. The goal is to get in and get out all while avoiding running into a certain Morgan brother. The one who broke her heart. Billy has never gotten over Kat leaving, abandoning him for the rockstar life. Anyone who knows small towns, knows it's impossible to avoid anyone for very long, so of course, Kat and Billy are forced back together. Billy, the resident grump, wants so badly to stay mad at Kat but the more time he spends with her, the more he realizes that he still loves her.
I really loved Kat and Billy's story... though these Morgan brothers and the women they fall for all need to sit down and learn a thing or two about TALKING before jumping to conclusions! But if you can resist the urge to smack Billy upside the head (please do, it's worth it, I promise) this short and sweet story will hit all the notes Lola is starting to be known for. There is heart, there are laughs, there is steam, and my goodness there is swoony levels of love.
All in all Her Comeback is a great addition to the series, and I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the brothers and their stories!

‘Her Comeback’ is a great story that you can enjoy on its own, but don’t … you will greatly enrich in your experience if you first read the prequel, ‘If you love someone’ and then dive into this story.
Katie is a star in the music industry, visiting her hometown for a profile in Rolling Stone magazine, and with some hopes of recharging her creative spirit which has definitely been lagging. When she is thrown together with her childhood best friend and high school sweetheart, Billy, it becomes apparent to them both that the connection between them is still intense, just like it always was. But are they both willing to put their hearts on the line again and try to make it work? The dual POV allows us to have important insight into what each lead character is thinking and feeling as the story progresses.
There is a wonderful happy ending, which came a little abruptly but was still great. I am hoping we will see more of Billy and Katie in the next book of this excellent series. The author has a writing style that is easy to read and pulls you into the lives of her characters. I can’t wait to read more about the Morgan family. (By the way, if you haven’t read ‘Tofu Cowboy’ yet, it’s the story of Billy’s brother Luke, and is just as delicious as this one.)

This was a fun, quirky and entertaining story that had me invested from the first to the last page. It was great to be back in Conway, Montana to catch up with the Morgan Clan.
This time it is a second change at love story for Billy Morgan and international rock star Kat Bennett. From the time they were toddlers, these two have been joined at the hip and friendship morphed into love.
When the opportunity arises for Kat to build her music career, she takes off, and after trying to do the long distance relationship for a little while, it quickly fell apart.
Returning to Conway,after ten years away, Kat is desperate to get her writing mojo back. Billy is shocked when he learns of her return. The attraction that has always sizzled between Billy and Kat is still just as intense and impossible to ignore.
Can Billy and Kat come to terms with the past and in doing so forge a path to forever together?

This is a fun, entertaining, quirky story that will appeal to all romance lovers. If small town romance and second chance love is your jam look no further than Her Comeback.
Billy Morgan and Kat Bennett have known each other all their lives, joined at the hip through childhood and sharing all the most important firsts they believed they were going to be together forever but Kat moved away when she was given the chance to pursue her music career and the relationship they tried to keep going fell apart.
Kat is back in Conway after years away so how will a Billy react to seeing her again and will he be the man to give her back the mojo she is desperately seeking. Will the past destroy or make the future for this couple... well I guess you need to read the book to find that out.
This is a beautifully written romance that has the perfect mix of love, passion, family loyalty and humour and I can’t wait for book 3 in the series.

I loved the second installment of this series. Kat is a superstar singer from a small town and Billy is her small town boyfriend that she left behind. She returns home with a reporter who is writing an article about her early years and where she grew up. She is hoping she doesn't run into Billy and can leave town without any fuss but nature and fate has other plans. If you are looking for well-developed characters, a romance with a hot scenes but a plot and storyline, and chemistry that is off the charts - Her Comeback is the book for you. You do not need to read Tofu Cowboy (book 1 in the series) to enjoy this one, but I would recommend reading the novella If You Love Somebody. It introduces these two characters and intensifies the chemistry between them. Lola West has quickly become one of my favorite authors and she will become one of yours as soon as you pick up her books. I was provided a free copy of this for a fair and unbiased review.

Oh how I love a second chance romance. Now throw in a stubborn, smoldering cowboy with a heart of gold and a beautiful singer with a voice like honey ...we have Her Comeback. Ten years apart could not damper the attraction that still burns between these two young lovers. Kat is a country singer that never thought she would be back in her old stomping ground or staying in her old room but here she is for a tale on where she came from. Billy thinks he is putting up a good front of how to look when you really forgot your first love but lets be real. When thrown together by circumstances and meddling family the old love is not only there but may be burning hotter than they could have ever imagined. Loving this funny crazy family and their wonderful world.

Love is a pretty strong bond if you give it a chance. I’d say that is the perfect lesson to take away from this book.
Kat and Bill were destined to be together. They grew up with each other, were High School sweethearts, they meant the world to each other. But Kat left to pursue a career in music breaking both of their hearts.
My heart is overflowing with love for this book. Such a sweet romance. So much focus on following your heart and not being afraid to take chances.

Book 2 in the Big Sky Cowboys series and the continuation of Kat and Billy’s story and I really enjoyed it. 10 years have passed since the end of If You Love Someone and Kat was still making her music and Billy was still working the ranch. She comes back home to do an article about where she grew up and all she wants to do is get in and get out without seeing a certain person. Too bad, fate has other plans. All it took was one look and the feelings between them come back. Will music come between them again or will they finally get it together and realize that they can have both in their lives? Quick read that will leave you smiling and swooning the entire time. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. Loving this author.

Y'all this second chance romance is endearing, funny, and so quirkily adorable! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It is actually the second part of Kat and Billy's story, so make sure you check out the first part before this! Will these two finally get their HEA?!? Read to find out! ;)

Lola has stunning eye catching covers for this series which is the first thing that caught my eye.
But it's also the connections within the family that draw me and having me wanting everyone's stories!
When it comes to Kat and Billy I found myself swooning over their clear connection and desire for each other even a decade later. Since this is a romance obviously I knew we'd get their HEA but I couldn't see how a music star and a cowboy were going to get there. Lola taught me never to count a solid history/foundation out no matter how many years have passed.

I was so excited to see what happens to Kat and Billy! I was devastated after the novella If You Love Someone. I needed their story! This is a heartfelt second chance romance that takes place over a couple of days. I loved getting the perspective of both Billy and Kat in this story. They have a lifetime of history and 10 years of regret between them, and I really wanted to see them hash it out. I felt like they both came to their own conclusions, but I was hoping for more of a fight between them seeing them openly discuss what happened. This story was a very quick read and ended in a Happily For Now (HFN) I think. I say that because I need more and Lola West teases we will get the rest of their story in the next book.
I really hope so! I need more Kat and Billy.

Although this is the second in the series, this was my first full length read from this author. I read the prequel right before I started this book. It might not be needed, but it enhances the story, was free and makes you really love the characters (main and family) before you start this.
In this book, you see how a town takes care of their own and how family (given and chosen) really can influence and take care of people and relationships.
At the center, this is the story of two people that have an epic love, make a mistake along the way and figure out how they choose to live with the situation.
Can't wait to read more about these characters and the Morgan family.

I was really excited to return to the small town setting of Lola West’s Big Sky Cowboys series. This story is a follow up to If You Love Someone and continues Kat and Billy’s story. This is a great small town, second chance romance that can be read in a single sitting. There was some conflict and angst surrounding their reunion, but Kat and Billy together were fire! Lola West has written characters that have amazing chemistry together! I would recommend for fans of romance looking for a quick read.

I should preface this by saying that you should first read If You Love Someone which is the prequel. It sets up Billy and Kat’s history. I love Billy and Kat, Luke and Maddie, and the rest of the Morgan's really just make me giddy with happiness. This is a friends to first love to enemies to lover second chance story that brought the feels this time. I feel like there's still a lot further we could go with Billy and Kat, but what we got between If You Love Someone and Her Comeback was enough to keep me re-reading this whole series until Imperfect Harmony comes out. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

Once again I was sucked into this world of a small town and it's residents. Lola West writers these quirky, funny, hot and steamy stories that I've turn an absolute fan of.
This second chance story was funny and heartfelt. It is about two people that made mistakes when they were younger and now have a chance to repair them. The only problem I have is I wish this was longer because I feel cheated and didn't wanted it to end anytime soon.

This is the second book in the Big Sky Cowboys series. I love Kat and Bill and I adore The Morgan family. Billy and Kat were teenage lovers, had a falling out and haven’t seen each other for ten years. Kat returns to her hometown and in no time at all the sparks fly between her and Billy...but so do the hurt feelings. Can’t wait to see where their story goes.

Lola does it again! This was a funny and heartfelt story continuing Billy and Kat’s love story. If you’re looking for a feel good romance with a smokin’ cowboy, this is your book! I can’t wait to read more about Billy and Kat as well as the rest of the Morgan family.

In this one we get to the bottom of the grumpy oldest Morgan brother Billy. His high school sweetheart who is his only love comes back to town after 10 years and immediately you know that this is going to be good.
She came back to find her voice and the heart behind her music and maybe that is Billy Morgan. The blue eyed beau she wrote her first song about. She doesn't want to keep wanting him but she ends up stuck in town for longer than she planned and can't stay away from him.
Billy is struck by how easily she fits right back into his whole family's life and starts to realize his mistake making her choose all those years before. I mean he's a gorgeous cowboy so he's going to mess up a little bit more but just wait for that HEA grand gesture from this ranching man. All the swoons and heat from this dominate cowboy who needs to get his girl back.
Cant wait to see what is next for the Morgans!

I love second chance romances and this one has a sweet cowboy that hadn't forgotten his first love. Kat and Billy have amazing chemistry and that wasn't extinguished after ten years. If anything, once they see each other again it burns brighter. This was sweet and sexy but also funny and I just loved the meddling family.

I loved this book! I love all the crazy characters in it. The brothers, sister, dad, Billy and Kat! They were just meant to be together and thank God Lola brought them back together! Good book Lola! Can’t wait to get the 3rd book in this series tomorrow!

I love Lola West's writing. She is amazingly talented and paints a vivid picture both of the surroundings and the characters.
"Her Comeback" is the continued story of Kat and Billy. I initially fell in love with them when I read "If You Love Someone" and could not wait to see the rest of their story. And let me tell you she did not disappoint. After ten years apart the draw between Kat and Billy is still strong. The best part is that neither of them really deny it. They know it's there and they try to find their footing with it and the whole "where do we go from here" aspect. Throw in a lot of secondary characters that you can't help but like and want to read more about and this book knocks it out of the park.

And let me tell you she did not disappoint. After ten years apart the draw between Kat and Billy is still strong. The best part is that neither of them really deny it. They know it's there and they try to find their footing with it and the whole "where do we go from here" aspect. Throw in a lot of secondary characters that you can't help but like and want to read more about and this book knocks it out of the park.

I absolutely loved this book. I usually don't get into cowboy Romance but this one blew me away. I found myself rooting for Kat and Billy. Lila West is an author I will definitely keep reading.

Oooh. Just as good as book 1! I adored Luke's story in book 1 and I adored Billy and Kat's story just as much. I love the Morgan's and how close they all are, I love Kat and Billy's past. It was great seeing them interact after so long apart and was so happy for their happy ever after!

Her Comeback is the second story in the Big Sky Cowboy series and features the stories of the Morgan siblings. Luke got his story in Tofu Cowboy and we got a wee snippet into Billy’s story and history with his childhood sweetheart, Kat.
I should preface this by saying that you should first read If You Love Someone which is the prequel. It sets up Billy and Kat’s history.
After her last album flopped, Kat returns to her hometown in the hopes of reminding her fans that she is a small town girl at heart. She is hoping to fly in and out without seeing Billy, her ex boyfriend who broke her heart.
Billy is still harbouring hurt over what he considers Kat’s abandonment. Although, the more time he spends with her, the more he realises that he still loves and would never love another woman like he does Kat
This was a short, sweet novel. I really wanted to hit Billy upside the head. He was the king of jumping to conclusions and getting butt hurt without talking to her first. All those years wasted when pride got in the way. He could have made it work with Kat 10 years ago.. she would have followed her dream and they had enough love to make any long distance work. Grrr! But, luckily he pulled his head out long enough not to fuck it up this time. I would have liked an epilogue or extra chapter as it ended a bit abruptly but still an enjoyable read. I think we read more about them in the next book, anyway.

Oh the feels! The tears are rolling down my face as I write this. I absolutely felt all the emotions with Kat and Billie. Two stubborn fools made for each other! Billie knows he made a mistake 10 years ago by making Kat choose her music or him. Kat knows she should not have gotten on that plane 10 years ago. Now shes back to show her fans how a small town country girl evolved into the star she is..... Will these two stubborn fools realise they are meant for each other? I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
