Marjorie Long is once again a broken girl. As secret after secret comes to light and threatens not only to tear her sanity apart but the connections she has built with her heartmates, she pushes herself to her limits to find the truth within the lies. With the help of her brother, Carson she finds herself closer to the biggest revelation of her life. But just when the truth is within her grasp she is once again betrayed by the last person she would have expected and sent into a deep dark place within herself that seems almost impossible to escape from. Realizing that life is better with the love and loyalty of her heartmates she pushes aside the hurt and misunderstandings and looks to the future with them by her side no matter what comes their way. But, will the love and connections they built be able to last once they all, one by one, begin to leave Brighton House and her behind to navigate life on her own? Will finding truth amidst the secrets and lies that center around her be all that she hoped they would be? Or will she discover that some truths aren’t worth the pain and heartache they can cause?
Finding Truth is a Reverse Harem Why Choose book with MF, FF elements. Finding Truth contains subject matter that some may find triggering and sexual content that is intended for mature audiences. The female lead character does not choose between love interests so if that is something you are not interested in do not read this book.
This book is by far more than five stars people. Unfortunately, that is all that we can give. So with that said I want to give you a fair warning: this book does talk about some harsh realities out there and will make you squirm. So if you have triggers please take this in mind.
So if you want a book that will ground you, gut you, leave you breathless and make your body heat rise, then you need to read this book. You will need to have a box of tissues on standby. Seriously, I was crying within the first chapter of the book. Like seriously how do you cry within the first chapter. Geez, I thought Finding Hope was amazing but this Finding Truth was an emotional roller coaster for me. I cried like hardcore breathless cry! I laughed and raged. I felt everything that the character was going through. As you read the story, you can feel the emotions coming off the page, the heartbreaks and the triumphs. OMG the unexpected turns blew my mind. I cannot stress how amazing this series is. J Grace, I wanted to hate you so much while reading this book, I can't not even a little bit. I love you for coming into my life. I cannot wait to see what will happen next.
OMG!!!!! Loved this 2nd book in J Grace's trilogy and can't wait for Finding Forever!!!!!!
Yes, triggers abound in this continuation of Marjorie/Brandilyn's story, but for every trigger there is growth and positivity on the part of each character!!!
You do not want to miss out on this series!!!!! Grab Finding Hope today to start!!!!
Rip my heart out and tear it into tiny bits just to glue it back together again! I have never enjoyed having my heart broken so much lol this was such a heart felt and unique book, you just can’t help but fall in love with with the cast of characters. It’s worth not just a read but a reread
I usually don’t read books like this. Well I mean I read contemporary but... this is some how more than that. These characters have suffered, whether it be from abuse or from real mental health problems stemming from the abuse. The pain they go through is real and has probably been felt by someone out in our world by you, by me or perhaps someone you know. Basically, this book has real life stuff in it and I’m probably not articulating this well enough but because it’s so close to home and the real world. The emotions that I went through reading this book were beautiful and powerful. Something about characters overcoming their hardships together was a thing of beauty and heartwarming. I could relate to some of these characters on a molecular level, they are imperfect but some how perfect in their humanistic flaws and you can’t help but find yourself rooting for them. Marjorie/Brandy she doesn’t come off as someone emotionally and physically powerful but she really is and she does her best despite life beating her down. I adored her and her harem and while I usually don’t do good with super emotional reads, this book was worth it. The only complaint I had was with the amount of flashbacks, yes some of them were necessary but I think I could have done without the spoiler..... the flashback about Megan and Malcolm, and also a few other flashbacks. Also, certain things were shared during group therapy that I feel would never really be shared during a real group session. Luna’s was particularly graphic and possibly triggering and would never just be brought up in front of a group of people who could possibly also be triggered by her experience. Especially without a trigger warning. That’s something that I believe she would share with her personal therapist so it was a little unrealistic in that aspect but other than that I have no complaints. This book is amazing and I strongly recommend.
After reading the first book in this trilogy, I was very disappointed with this one. 2.5 stars out of 5 from me.
I did enjoy the continuation of the story in general but thats about it. The main character is portrayed in a less than kind way. She seems selfish, doesn't care about consequences, and just goes for whatever it is she wants at the time. It was difficult to be rooting for her after that.
It seems like there was a lack of spice as well. It was just kind of ehh, there but fast and briefly mentioned.
I also had a severe issue with errors in this book. Several misspellings, punctuation missing, incomplete sentences, the wrong characters names in places when referencing someone else entirely. Plus at the beginning of the book, there's quite a few pages repeated from the ending of the first book. I think it needs completely reviewed and corrected.
Overall an ok book, haven't decided if I will the final part of this trilogy yet.

This story makes you feel all the emotions. You get broken down and then built back up piece by piece. This next part is absolutely AMAZING! There is so much packed into this book and I can't even begin to try and describe, just one click it. You go on an amazing journey with an absolutely great group that all you can do is cheer on. Thank you for taking us on this beautiful journey and I can't wait to see what's to come!
This was just good and honest. It was heartbreaking. And heartwarming. Loving. Literally every emotion rolled up into 200 pages. Even when see what’s coming, it still grinds at you to your very core. So well written. Makes you think of all your own problems and issues. Makes you proud of any achievements you may have of overcoming said issues. Makes you feel.
I can’t wait to read book 3. This series was so emotional and heartbreakingly good .you could feel what the characters were going through the highs and the lows and everything in between.
These books are amazing. Deep and insightful, they really help you see the perspective of yourself and the people around you. They are entertaining, heartfelt, and just amazing.
This was a really good book and it ended really well I’m surprised there will be a third book but I’m excited to see how this goes and what’s gonna happen next.
