Enough is enough. Special Agent Diana Sheen has been pushed too far.
Magical attacks on her, on her team, and on the city she’s responsible for have tipped the balance.
It’s time to hold the enemy responsible.
But there are more players on the opposing side than she knows.
Dirty politicians, a sneaky witch maneuvering to increase her own power, and a dark and mysterious magical alien who is moving the rest around like toy soldiers on a gameboard.
Plus, a sneaky assassin is prowling around her town.
But the Blackops Agents of Magic are ready. Cara’s artifact daggers are more powerful than she could have imagined. Rath the troll’s training as a master of the blade continues and Diana’s teacher Nylene is ready to roll up her sleeves and get into the action.
It’s time for the chaos to end. Diana and her team are committed to bringing a sense of order back to their home.
Meanwhile, the enemy has set its sights on yet another target Diana cares about…
Magic or mundane, you hurt people in their city, and BAM is gonna bring you down.
It’s all in a day’s work at the newest bureau of the Federal Agents of Magic.

I’m TR Cameron, science fiction author. I’ve been an avid consumer of the genre since I was six, I think, when I broke the seal on my Dad’s copies of the Asimov Foundation books. It’s been all downhill since then.
I have a day job that I love most days, and writing is pretty much my only consistent hobby. When I find time that’s not already filled with my wife, my daughter, my writing, my work, or dodging the affections of our clowder of cats, you can find me playing video games (currently Dishonored 2 – I’m a little behind the times on this one), watching things (Marvel movies, American Gods, Agents of Shield, Justified, The Expanse, Gotham), playing board games, or, naturally, reading.
My favorite authors in Sci-Fi are David Weber, Jean Johnson, John Scalzi, CJ Cherryh, and the giants: Asimov, Pohl, Bear, Heinlein, etc. I read a lot in other genres too, and am a big fan of Matthew Woodring Stover, Michael Anderle, Jim Butcher, and I could go on and on and on. If I had to choose one favorite, though, it would be Stephen R. Donaldson, whose Thomas Covenant series was transformative for me.
Probably my pie-in-the-sky dream for my writing career is that someone would make a movie or television show of my books and I could be a part of the production. Sure, unlikely, but a clowder-dodger can dream, right? My more practical dream is that I can keep writing and both entertaining and connecting with my readers for years and years to come.

Each of the books in this series just keeps on getting better.
Between the Remembrance, and their shadowy Leaders, plus a Governmental betrayal, that is leaking BAMs secrets like a drain, there seems to be one crisis after another, for Diana and her team to cope with.
Even with the insider information given to them by Sloan, aka: Face, who risks life and limb every minute of the day and night, in order to help get any kind of notice of further attacks, the team are chasing one disaster after another.
But, when Remembrance chose to go after their Drow trainer, Nylotte, Diana, Cara, and Rath, hurry to help her defend her shop in the Kemana!
As usual, the plot was amazingly labyrinthine, the characters get better by the book, and the fight scenes are just so complex and detailed, so that even I can follow along!
I really am enjoying these books very much, and really want to go on to the next book in the series: book seven: 'Arcane Ops' but, as usual, it's already silly o'clock in the morning so, as I have family staying a couple of nights, I'm going to be strong, & catch up on some sleep, rather than start reading the next book! 😭
But, once I do read it, I'll catch you on the flip side, and let you know what I think of it!
The enemies, both alien and governmental, keep pushing Diana Sheen until she has finally had enough! With not only attacks on the agency now she has to contend with personal attacks on her herself! It's more than a warrior can take! This time she wants to take the fight directly to the enemy. However, there are more enemies than Diana and her agents know! There is sabotage from within and without. Not to mention the assassin roaming free in Pittsburg!
But Diana has more tricks up her sleeve including and agent with a powerful set of twin artifact daggers! Add to this, Nylene (Diana's magic teaching Drow Elf) has decided which side she will be on and it isn't the aliens or the government! :) Rath the Troll is now training as a "master of the blade" and he will always fight by Diana's side!
There is plenty of magic, battles, guns, and other weapons, as well as covert intrigue to keep any reader of this series happy!
Being how I didn't write one for the others in the series I will do a synopsis of all. I like them a lot. And it is like a box of chocolates, you can't read just one. The action, the personal gains in Magic, the inter relationships of the group and how they continue to develope. Man I wish I had magic, even a little. And if I had a second wish it would be able to write like these people.
I didn't know what to expect from this author, but I will say that I loved your Agents of Order series. And I want a Rath : ) please. All the characters are great. But man does Iressa and Sarah, they need some comeuppance. I am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the story. Good job, TR Cameron.
in this installment Diana and her team are once again fighting Draven, Sarah, and the rest of the bad guys. When Wrath gets hurt helping Diana and the dark Drow teacher Nylott Diana vows to get even. Since she now has Angel and Demon twin swords, she has the means and the way to make it happen. This is also the book where we find out Draven and Nylott were married.... 2 books to go....
I liked how the secret leakers were found out and removed. Also justice was served to several of the opposition, although some was dealt out by the opposition itself.
Diana and her team have become a well oiled machine as well as family. They continue to face terrible odds but remain strong if not stronger. You need to read this series. It will take you away from any troubles and entertain you as well.
These wonderfully exciting characters have forged a working friendship that entertains and surprises with every action packed chapter. This is thank a to very creative authors. I want more right away!
Agents of Order (Federal Agents of Magic Book 6) - a review by Rosemary Kenny
BAM, (or Blackops Agents of Magic) are the supernatural FBI equivalent at a Hogwarts-like Academy, for training magical beings how to develop and use their weapons, strength and powers to defend and protect everyone from enemies - such as a powerful alien with dark and mysterious origins and intentions, in TR Cameron, Martha Carr and Michael Anderle's 6th book in their Federal Agents of Magic series, with MC Special Agent Roxy Sheen. She' a feisty force for good and her team - Cara, a warrior who's training with knives, including her ancient and powerful daggers, Roth - a troll, who makes up for his diminutive size with the fierceness of his fighting, especially with blades, Nylene a trainer and Diana, whom Nylene's training in self-defence and attack.Fast-moving, well-paced action throughout includes events such as treachery and betrayal, love and loyalty and much more from these 3-dimensional, engaging characters who have by now become something akin to a 'family' in their familiarity, garnered most intensely in the previous 5 novels of supernatural suspense. I am concerned that it took me three days to read the final fight scene. I kept falling asleep. I am a voracious reader and usually finish whole books in three day. Still it warranted the 4 stars. We got Nylotte showing why she’s my favorite character. Her sass while training Diana and Cara is fun. Nylotte also got to kick some major tucchus! I have to say that I am not a fan of everyone escaping so easily (or not so easily). I am saying this about both the good guys AND the bad ones. It’s like everybody is one of the boxing clown things that bounce back up after you hit them. Another problem was continuity. This is a line (no spoilers) from chapter 20: “she wasn’t sure they were actually related in any way, but since they were essentially identical twins, she’d decided that they would be brother and sister in her thoughts”. That was Cara talking about the entities in the daggers she got at the end of the last book. The only problem with that thought was something that was said the FIRST chapter: “He sounded despondent. ‘I would take this burden from you, sister, if you would permit it.’” Cara thinks of them as siblings because they told her they were. I do like Demon & Angel, and I hope we get more of them in the future.
Great Read! Just when you think you have things figured out, the plot takes a turn. The team takes on the enemy, alone and as a group. The battles are intense, but they come out the other side still kicking ass. Rath shines where he is placed in the story, a warrior using his small stature to advantage. We also get to see more of the characters individually, having a chance to know more about them. If you have not read this series, grab book one and join the adventure!
Another great book starring one of my favorite trolls!
Love to see the growth in all the characters. Rath never fails to provide lots of smiles as he continues to train. He’s a force to contend with. The whole team has come a long way with their skills and relationships. Can’t wait for the next one!
I enjoyed reading this book and I loved spotting the Easter eggs. Whether it's the ROUS or the mighty mouse theme tune. Thanks for that, it was in my head all day. Great characters with lots of action and adventure. I look forward to more from this series 😁
We start in the middle of things again, and the action keeps on going. Diana and her team give their all to defeat evil, doing it in style with laughs, loyalty, and sarcasm flying around. Bring on Arcane Ops!
Diane and company are pressing hard against their enemies again. Attacks defeated, traitors unmasked, major threats extinguished, near death moments, and non stop action, it's all here for your enjoyment. Highly recommend.
Lots of excitement in this one as Diana and her team face off time and time again after Remembrance. As the bad guys try over and over to end Diana and Cara the good guys escape to fight again.
I enjoyed this one better than the last one, so much action in this one. So much happening with decisions being made about the future and the committee. Loved it.
I found this an excellent book in the series. I really can’t complain about anything. The action was fast and frenetic, The humor and Snark was as funny as ever. And The character development was well done. Bravo. Going on to the next book.
I love this series. Good pacing, complex characters & lots of action & suspense. I always finish & book & immediately check to see when the next one is expected.
Brilliant twist in the climax bake sequences that I didn't see coming. The series still feels fresh, even after so many books. Can't wait till the next one.
Ok, the suspense has been building up since previous books, so there is a definite clash coming up. But again, there's a feeling that it is not the final battle..
Another great continuation of BAM and it's family of agents. Action, new strides in magic and mayhem. On to book 7. Really appreciate that the books are on KU
