i'm not even gonna lie and say that somehow, this was entertaining and funny. the girl really got sexually aroused by a dead man, a fucking corpse, and decided to grope his cock and then fuck him. apparently this is a thing and it's called necrophilia? anyways she then got caught by a group of "thugs" and is threatened to help them hide or get rid of bodies they take her or they will leak the video of her fucking the corpse. she agrees since she has no choice.

the book needs some intense editing. there's commas in unnecessary spots instead of periods, and some sentences were difficult to read because of small grammar issues like that. other than that, this was fun. i don't know i guess i needed something like this? there's no plot, no thorough dialogue, nothing but a girl fucked up in the head as she finds herself wet and horny for a dead man's cock. don't go into this expecting anything. honestly i don't even know how i came across this, but i just did, and it was fun. anyways my goodreads challenge went up for this. #no shame.

I know that I probably shouldn't be writing this...but...I have to admit I found this book rather erotic and extremely sexy...the way it was written and how the story flowed and was filled with this woman's thoughts about a deceased man's hard manhood and using it to fulfill her sexual needs was delightful... I'm saying no more🤐 read it and gasp 😲
The ending was awesome and I really wasn't expecting it...it took me by surprise.

3.5 stars rounded up. First book I've read by the author writing alone. Just as extreme and disgusting as I thought it would be and enjoyed the writing style. Will pick up more books at some point.

And here I thought nothing could make me squeamish anymore. I just...good Lord...The blurb tells you exactly what this book was about so the warning had me dying. "do not try this at home" LOLOLOL omg I think I'm good. Normally I feel unsatisfied with short stories, but I'm quickly learning this author is a different breed. It's like the aftermath of a car crash, you know you shouldn't look, but you just can't stop. I am kind of scared about the dreams I'm going to have after reading two of this author's stories in one day. Seriously, just wow.

This is a really sick, twisted story. Yet oddly erotic. I wasn't sure if I wanted to throw up, or touch myself. Rayne goes places that most authors wouldn't even think of. The story is so bizarre and cringeworthy, I couldn't even look away so I had to keep reading to see what happened next. I can't wait to see what else this crazy chick comes up with!

This is one of those stories that first person really creates the perfect ambience. In this story, we get her thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc... And even though she's kinda morbid, a part of me couldn't help but to like her. She was true to herself, even if that involved committing morbid acts. I usually don't like happy endings, but I did with this one ( if you could call the ending happy? I do, but I'm twisted). The few scenes that might cause others to cringe made me LOL. Maybe I need to get myself evaluated.....

This novella was such a wild and captivating read. It follows a woman working as an embalmer, who has some... unique needs. As the story unfolds, unexpected complications arise, disrupting her work and her emotions. This was raw, visceral, and surprisingly erotic in its execution, offering an unsettling yet fascinating glimpse into her mindset and reasoning.
I have to say, I absolutely loved the ending—it felt inevitable, like it couldn’t have concluded any other way.

This book was disappointing. It went way too quickly and I had no time to get invested in any character. Also hella predictable. I had high hopes but those hopes were not met.
This book could have been so much better if the writer took the time to draw us in. At least it was a short and fast read.
Edit: This was my first Rayne Havok book and I have since read a couple more of her books and they have been amazing. So perhaps it’s just a matter of getting used to the short story style of writing.

I loved this one. Couldn't put it down until the final depraved conclusion. Engaging, disturbing in parts, but somehow relatable. Obsession, control; that need to find/make the perfect someone. To lesser degrees (hopefully) we have all been the main character at some point in our lives. Highly recommended.

¿Cómo carajos se aborda una reseña de ese tipo? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Seré sincera: Fue raro, extraño y me dejó una sensación muy perturbadora.
Para ser algo extremadamente corto, tiene más historia que muchos libros largos que he visto por ahí, pero vayamos al grano.
La historia se trata sobre cómo Sadie, una mujer encargada de embalsamar y hacer autopsias en la morgue, empieza a sentir inclinaciones depravadas hacia un pene erecto.
No, aquí nadie se enamora. Solo es ella salivando por un pene descomunal en un cuerpo frío.
Dejemos claro que Sadie no pasa mucho tiempo teniendo que darse apoyo moral para poder follarse al muerto. No, es más como: 《Yo tengo inclinación a infringir la ley, paso de largo cuando el semáforo está en rojo y no viene nadie y blah blah blah. No voy a permitir que nadie me diga que está bien y qué está mal》, así es como baja a media noche (ella vive arriba) y se pone toda calienturienta con el muerto. Hay que agradecer que al menos no es un gordo calvo, al parecer está más bueno que el pan. Solo le falta un leve bronceado para entrar en mood (entiendan el chiste).
Ahora, la pregunta que todas nos hacemos es:《¿Cómo carajos su pene está alegre si debería de estar flácido?》, la respuesta es: Al parecer se hizo un estiramiento y debe tener algo que lo mantiene así.
Ahí tenemos a Sadie dándole como rata en balde al muerto hasta que la puerta se abre y aparecen 3 tipos grabando. No sabe que hacer, está asustada hasta que ve al suculento hombre llamado Rhys.
Rhys está lleno de tatuajes, tiene un acento que lo hace arrastrar las palabras y tiene una sonrisa pícara. Todo esto hace que Sadie se vuelva un manojo de nervios cuando está frente a él. Eso es hasta que le dicen que tiene que abrirle los pechos a una muerta porque las prótesis que usa están llenas de drogas.
Leo, Thomas y Rhys, (los tres matones), le dicen que iran cada cierto tiempo para que ella les haga 《favores》 si no quiere que el video se presente a las personas correctas.
Sadie acepta el trato y tal vez puedes pensar que lo hace porque está asustada, pero en realidad lo que quiere es seguir viendo a Rhys.
Aquí empieza otro arco en la historia y, cuando piensas que la trama se basará en Sadie y en un vivo Rhys, viene el karma y te patea el ass.
En una de esas aparecen con un cadáver muy parecido a Rhys para que Sadie lo creme. La cosa es que... no es tan fácil, amigas 🤣🤣🤣
Oieme, ¿desperdiciar a una copia del hombre con el que lleva soñando semanas? No hay ninguna posibilidad.
Aquí te vuelves a preguntar: 《¿Cómo hace que su pene se levante? Ya no hay expansión》. ¡AJÁ! Pues para que sepas, Sadie tiene una solución endurecedora que le inyecta en su pene mientras le hace una felación, ya saben 👉👅, y pues le da como cajón que no cierra.

Okay so randomly on a Tuesday Sadie decides she's going to rape a corpse just because he has a dead hard on. Has she had these thoughts before?? No context to the past.
3 guys break into the morgue as she's riding this man. Sadie is on the floor trying to cover up but she has time to think it's hot how Rhys rolls his r's. Like no! No person in this position woman or man would think this is soooo hot.
She walks across the room naked - not even attempting to put clothes on but puts a glove on. It doesn't make sense. It's not like the man told her to stay naked but she doesn't even make an effort to put on clothes.
I suppose she's working with them now because they have her on video raping the corpse so they'll come and go when they want.
Okay we get it, at some point Rhys and her are going to have sex.
God how does Sadie hide the Rhys look a like in the coolers she James knows how many bodies they should have?
Does anyone else work in this funeral home?
Why is she sleeping in the funeral home? Does she not eat? So many questions.
Well I guess I was right in a way that she was going to have sex with Rhys.
Final Thoughts:
Oh my god this story was stupid and frustrating. We jump from her having a desire to sleep with a dead man to this guy with tattoos to never explaining anything. Somehow now we have to forget the story that drew you in and now she's obsessed with some basic dude with a neck tattoo. Yeah, she kills him and sleeps with a lookalike of him but it explains nothing. I wanted to understand her attraction to dead men. Has it always been there?

This was a super fast read, around 7 chapters but well written. Now it’s super steamy but not for the weak of heart. This is a story about a woman working as an embalmer so I will let you imagine how it’s a steamy read.

I went into this with morbid curiosity and the assumption that the low ratings were from the content, but no. The writing was lacking in a big way — as in, I stopped counting run-on sentences after the first chapter. This negativity is coming from me, someone who reads a lot of under-edited books and usually doesn't complain much about it, so take that for what you will! If you don't mind the poor writing, though, the plot was pretty solidly fucked up and I liked the protagonist.

This short story is about a women named Sadie who is one night tempted by a corpse she is to exhume where she works... A funeral parlor. Never had these feelings entered her mind before now. The reason... the man was sporting a massive hard on. When her partner leaves for the evening, Sadie decides to have a adventure with the body only to later realize when she is fully engorged that she forgot to lock the door.
Three thugs are staring at her in disbelief and curiosity. Blackmail is in order. Sadie is now subjected to disposing bodies for the thugs. She does however find herself hot for one of them and one night takes it upon herself to take care of him. Dead or alive.

This was such an interesting story, perfect for the erotic horror genre that I have been stuck to recently. The only issue I have is that it was so short - as in I finished it within an hour! I wish there was more!
