I suppose I expected too much. There really isn't a lot of material about Freyja alone. I hoped this might be some of the only such material out there, but no. This book offers little to nothing that you wouldn't already have from the Eddas and sagas. In fact, this whole book is basically just retelling of myth stories that Freyja featured in, sometimes indirectly, as in the story of how Thor had to pretend to be Freyja to get Mjolnir back from the jotun.
There is misinformation too. For example is suggested Skadi is in some way the mother of Freyja. She is not. And the author says Freyja has only 1 daughter. That's incorrect, she has 2. The story in which Thor has Alvis tell him the names by which various races call things like the wind or sun is changed in this book to be Odin against Alvis for Freyja's hand rather than Thrud's. Why that decision was made, I don't know.
Heavy "creative license" was taken with several of the stories, too.
The font is rather bothersome to read, also. Why the author didn't use a standard typeset is a mystery, but the book could've benefited from it. However little...
The art used in this book is no doubt taken without permission of the artists. In some cases the art is classical and likely public domain, but there were several that aren't. Just because you can find art on Google does not mean it's free for you to take it and use it as you please! That's theft!
There is nothing in this book you can't get from other high quality sources, so I don't recommend it.
