Eavesdroppers hear no good of themselves, but for Jasmine Dunbar it might save her life.

Escaping from her evil guardian’s mansion, she has been on the run for weeks. Left behind at a deserted stage depot, she is rescued by Mrs. Mildred Crenshaw who owns a Matrimonial Agency. She suggests that Jasmine should become a mail-order bride.

To save his ranch, Zane McIvor needs a wife. Having once been on the run himself, he is sympathetic to Jasmine’s plight and agrees to marry her, sight unseen.

When they meet, will he regret his impulsive offer? Or will it be the best decision he has ever made? And has Jasmine met the man of her dreams, or will it turn out to be a nightmare?

The author has given us a wonderful sweet and heartwarming story. This is Jasmine and Zane's story. Jasmine escaped from her guardian's mansion after overhearing a plan to marry her to the guardian's son, steal her inheritance, and kill her after she produces a male heir. She flees to Wyoming where she meets a matchmaker and agrees to marry Zane after a MOB he had chosen failed to arrive. Will Jasmine remain safe and will she and Zane reach a HEA. Be sure to read this great story to find out. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Jasmine and Zane

This was a short book and felt rushed in many places. I don’t know if I ever felt comfortable with the characters, though I did enjoy parts of the story. The end was not my favorite. I wish there had been more to it because it could have been really tense and exciting. The tying up of loose ends also left me a tiny bit unsatisfied. Once again it felt rushed and didn’t make the most sense. Jasmine and Zane did have good chemistry and I absolutely loved Rusty. All and all, it was a fine book

Evil men are bad but I think evil women are even worse. Jasmine’s stepmother certainly fits that category. This is one time breaking the rules of good behavior was a really good thing. In this case, evesdropping was life saving. Margaret Tanner has given us a story with adventure, danger, romance and bravery. Jasmine didn’t just sit around and wring her hands, she acted. I really enjoyed this story.

Enticing

Surviving on her fathers knowledge! This has one very capable woman, who’s not going to fall victim to her whacked step mother! She hides in plain site from who knows who? This story has plenty of twists and turns to mystery and deception. Love how the heroine is capable of surviving on the run and finds love when not expecting to fall in love with her hero! Another page turner in this series!

Strong minded

Jasmine has a good head on her shoulders and when she overheard a conversation between Esmeralda and her son Cedric, she knew she had to take matters into her own hands, before she couldn't. She runs away to start a new life for herself. Of course, life isn't easy trying to get away. Zane needs a wife to secure his land ownership, he thought he was getting a mail order bride, but she took his money and never arrived. Fortune will be good for both Jasmine and Zane, when both meet by strange circumstances. They agree to marry to solve both their issues. Will it be a marriage in name only? You have to read this cute, short story to find out.
