Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story

Rate this book
The book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’ is published from ground research material on the Delhi Riots that occurred in February 2020. This material was collected by the authors and their team during their many visits to the riot-affected areas of North East Delhi. The research team met both Hindu and Muslim victims of the violence and religious leaders of both communities who attempted to de- escalate the situation. The book contains eight chapters which narrate the fact and evidence-based story of the dharna-to-danga model, planned and executed by Urban Naxal and Jihadi elements in Delhi. The book features narratives from Hindu and Muslim victims, stories of the Dalits who were brutalized in unimaginable ways, maps showing the insidious Urban-Naxal-Jihadi model of rioting, FIRs of properties that were burnt and wrecked, and the postmortem reports of Ankit Sharma and Ratan Lal, which portray their brutal killings.

One of the main themes of the book is the destruction of inter-community relations in North East Delhi in the garb of Anti-CAA protests. The book shows us that hatred and violence was ignited between two communities which had been peacefully coexisting for decades, by people with ideologically vested interests. It exposes the plot behind the violence, how it was planned and how the events unfolded. The book contains details on the events of 23rd February 2020 in Jaffrabad which laid the ground for full-fledged communal riots in the area on the next day. It shows how a Genocide was committed in North East Delhi under the cover of women's empowerment. The book uncovers the Urban-Naxal-Jihadi theories as contained in their own documents and literature. The book must be read because it shows the citizens of this country the ways in which their internal security is being compromised by fanatic ideologies.

Neither the publisher nor the pretentious activists cited any factual inaccuracy or errors in the book while withdrawing or demanding withdrawal of the book, which shows how intolerant and regressive our leftists are.
The anti-refugee, anti-humanitarian, pro-terrorism protests of pseudo-liberals failed miserably, now they are pathetically(though not surprising) resorting to banning books and free speech. Seems the liars have started believing their own lies and propaganda like a religious fanatic.
The government should take action against Bloomsbury for cozying up with such inhuman elements, and make an example out of it, and should publish this book through some other agencies.

This book was recently in the news after Bloomsbury decided not to publish it under pressure from Left leaning authors. As many pointed out, this was hypocritical considering many of them claimed to support freedom of expression, and had not even read the book.

It is often opined that we are today seeing an acute clash of ideologies. Actually, I don’t think that is what we are seeing – what is actually happening is a breakdown of civility, acceptance and mutually enriching dialogue which is issue specific. It is not about being conservative or liberal, but treating the other with respect. Quite often, this attitude degenerates into confrontation, abuse & at times violence. Country after country, the cycle now repeats. Author Brene Brown outlined well on how this works in ‘Braving the Wilderness’ where positions harden, fueled by a media taking sides (many times based on where the funding comes from), and social media serving as a self-reinforcing mechanism (also in the Netflix documentary ‘The Social Dilemma’).

This book provides a context to the Delhi riots earlier in the year. After India passed the CAA, which provided an accelerated path to citizenship to those who have stayed in the country for more than 5 years and faced religious discrimination in their host countries, a wide range of opinions and often wild what-next speculation followed. Most of the media the world over is guilty of not discussing this on merit constructively. Protests followed, spun out of control with media & the political class taking sides and later descended into violence. The authors spoke to a wide range of people and suggest that the violence was probably pre-planned, also timed to coincide with US President Trump’s visit. Many local leaders tried to calm the situation as it spun out of control, but that was not to be.

I found the coverage to be fact based, though it could have been more diverse. Overall, the book makes for sad reading with senseless & entirely avoidable loss of lives, and should actually offer some lessons.

A MUST READ. A book which is unapologetic and brings out the real truth behind the Delhi Riots. No matter how much the Congress-Leftist-Radical Islamist try to ensure the book doesn't reach the public, rest assured it will. Just give the book a read and do some fact finding via google. You will understand what is the true propaganda and how a section of media is creating a fake narrative to cover up the real masterminds of the Delhi Riots.

In times of universal ideological deceit of M appeasement politics, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. Thank you so much for writing this truth. Thank you for presenting the truth. Thank you for telling with immaculate detail and proof how this anti-Hindu riot was orchestrated. I would strongly recommend all sensible people to read this.

I read this book to show solidarity with the authors after this book was banned/not allowed to published by William Darlymble, Aatish Taseer, entire left cabal and Jihadis who forced Bloomsbury not to published this book. They claimed that they believe in "Freedom of speech", but they don't. They are just hypocrite. A publishing house owned by British company pulped a book written by three fearless brown women on the behest of a powerful White man who runs a literary fest (Jaipur Lit fest) in India. Thank you Garuda publisher for publishing this book. After book start getting published under Garuda. Then we saw a PDF of 'Delhi Riots 2020' on whatsapp. As if pulling out from publishing a book under pressure from Fascists wasn't enough, Bloomsbury folks touch a new low. They thought they can prevent the book from becoming a national bestseller using dirty tricks. Bloomsbury leaked the ebook on purpose to drive down sales. You have more respect from me. So this was my statement for freedom of expression. I am against banning of any book.

3 writers went to those places met different kind of people to get to know the reality. Book is full of facts, evidence and ground reality, a sum up of all hard work done at field level to collect true data. All incidents are supported by copy of FIR, news, narration and other media communication. Must read for all those who want to learn about the dangerous experiments of Shaheen Bagh and anti CAA, anti Hindu movements. High time to call a spade a spade and call out the illicit affair of the extreme left and jihadis. Its a mind blowing book. Do read it.

Read to understand the world if you keep believing what the media tells you. You have to put your identity aside and understand these sinister agendas. Buy it, read it - and most importantly THINK for yourself. Stop expecting others to think for you or forming opinions based on what's easily accessible.

Bloomsbury has caused injustice to the Hindu community by delisting a book that talks about the plight of the community. Made me even more interested in reading the book. This will backfire like the publisher would never have even expected.

Why despite being a liberal I support the publication of this book:
No book in the world must be banned. It is against democracy to 'ban' a book. Reading a book is a personal choice. If one does not agree with the contents of any book, then leave a bad review and/or stop reading the book. That is your right to do so.
As a liberal, I cannot agree with the publication of anti-Hindu books while disagreeing with the publication of anti-Muslim books.
As a liberal, I refuse to be a hypocrite.
As a liberal, I refuse to be biased towards one section of the society.
As a liberal, I understand that both sides contribute to a dispute.

I am self-aware enough to understand that. All of you are self-aware enough to realize the same.

How can Bloomsbury India justify its decision to not publish Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story while publishing Shaheen Bagh: From a Protest to a Movement?

How can anyone justify or applaud Bloomsbury's decision when the following books are still on the market?
1. The Hindus: An Alternative History
2. Any book by Audrey Truschke - Aurangzeb: The Man and the Myth, Culture of Encounters: Sanskrit at the Mughal Court
3. Pogrom in Gujarat: Hindu Nationalism and Anti-Muslim Violence in India
4. Gujarat Files
5. Any book by Kancha Ilaiah - Buffalo Nationalism: A Critique of Spiritual Fascism, Why I Am Not a Hindu
6. Lajja: Shame

They are on the market because NO BOOK IN THE WORLD SHOULD BE BANNED. Cancel culture is problematic and is borderline bullying. Violence and hatred are not the answer.

How can TheWire fight on behalf of one book (https://thewire.in/education/kancha-i...) and mock the publication of another book (https://thewire.in/communalism/blooms...)?

This is NOT what the left stands for. This is NOT what liberals stand for. We do NOT agree with uplifting one section of the society at the cost of another. Feminism does NOT mean hating men. Standing up for minorities does NOT mean hating the majority. Being a liberal does NOT mean hating conservatives.

The book really tries to prove itself as a well researched, fact-finding, and an impartial take on Delhi Riots in 2020, and wow, it fails so miserably! The first 80% of the book is reserved for blaming the riot to the well organized, deeply hidden Urban Naxals-Jihadis nexus - a concept so unoriginal that sensational news channels like Republic TV keep spewing and blaming them on a daily basis. The last 20% was saved for the hard evidence the authors have found themselves to back their claims. Oh, you ask, what is this hard evidence? Profile screenshots, social media posts, photographs from the stroll the authors took in the rioted areas, newspaper articles, and of course, tweets from the ruling party leaders.

You see, I love books written in dissent.  My reading philosophy is to prioritize books that challenge my beliefs, read texts that challenge conventional practices, focus on tales that go against the accepted norms. My only expectation from the book is that it offers me something new. I have appreciated books such as Essentials of Hindutva by Veer Savarkar for its original content, I loved the first-of-its-kind graphic novel, Munnu: A boy from Kashmir showcasing the struggles of a family in Kashmir despite an openly anti-India narrative, I was tired but quite convinced with the information overload in books such as Lajja by Taslima Nasrin to prove an argument. But you see, all of these other books had something new to offer but Delhi Riots 2020 just fools you into read-watching an episode of Arnab Goswami.

Stay away from this nonsensical garbage!

What we know of the Delhi Anti-Hindu Riots is barely what all exactly happened. And the happenings which met the eye were just the tip of the ice berg.

The authors have done a marvelous job in analyzing the architecture, the design and the execution of the series of episodes which started with protests in university campuses and ended ( at least for now ) with the Delhi Riots. The architects of this massive heinous series of events are both from the country and outside.

The authors gathered enough ground reports and points out how high rises in NE Delhi were prepared with catapults and trained snippers to shoot targets and destroy properties. The execution of the finale eerily shrieks of the style of the unspeakable ISIS and the happenings in Syria and in other parts of Middle East.

The result of the unholy alliance of Left Communist and Jihadists is what was Delhi Riots and it was a mere experiment.

The planning went on for months. It’s astonishing how a plan of this magnitude destabilizing the country was done right under the nose of the government and security agencies.

If the government and the people of this country do not open eyes now and learn, even God won’t help us in future.

Highly recommended 👍🏼

A book which is unapologetic and brings out the real truth behind the Delhi Riots Or I should say Urban Warfare. No matter how much the Congress-Leftist-Radical Islamist try to ensure the book doesn't reach the public, rest assured it will.
The book exposes the truth of Jihadi conspiracy backed by Leftists & Tukde gang. Shame on those who blamed Hindus for the well planned terr0r conspiracy by anti nationals (Urban Naxals - Radical Jihandi) & AAP (Yes I am saying AAP, As IITan Arvind Kejriwal was busy in his political stunts and avoided any comment on Shaheen bagh, his MLA were there in the protest giving their hate speeches).

The authors have done a marvelous job in analyzing the architecture, the design and the execution of the series of episodes which started with protests on university campuses and ended ( at least for now ) with the Delhi Riots. The execution of the finale eerily shrieks of the style of the unspeakable ISIS and the happenings in Syria and in other parts of Middle East.
The Murder of IB Constable Ankit Sharma, Delhi Police has arrested one of the culprits Named “Salman” reports says that Muslim boys had covered Ankit’s body with a black cloth and they pulled him to AAP councillor Tahir Hussain’s house. This was the same house from where all the paraphernalia of rioting has been recovered, This was the same house, from whose rooftop petrol bomb were launched. There were 10 to 14 en involved in lynching and killing of Ankit Sharma, Salman himself has confessed to stabbing Ankit at least 14 time.
The incident has raised many unanswered questions.

How did the Muslim rioters come to know that Ankit was an IB official?
It isn't usual for a civilian to know the identity of an intelligence official in an area. Then how was it that Ankit's killers found out?
Were they helped by some outside agency?
Why was such an inhuman and gory way of killing chosen?
Was he murdered at Tahir Hussain's house?
Was Tahir himself involved in the brutal murder?
Above all, has such news
stopped affecting the society we live in?

If the government and the people of this country do not open eyes now and learn, even God won’t help us in future.

The book is good and very fact based. The author has substantiated the content with lots of ground reports that add much credibility and authenticity to the book. Starts with the history of Delhi and later moves on to explain the wicked nexus of Jehadis and urban naxals. I was heartbroken to read those stories at the end. Very disturbing. I’m furious as to how unaware, misinformed and gullible we are and how easily the citizens can be manipulated. The author also writes about the templatisation of this experiment and warns how this model could be replicated and repeated in future as well. Overall, an informative and factual account of the well orchestrated “Delhi riots”. Must read👍🏽

On Saturday, 22 August, Bloomsbury India pulled the plug on Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story – a book claiming to be a “serious document of research” on the northeast Delhi violence in the national capital, which claimed over 50 lives and rendered thousands of people homeless.

This move by the publishing house triggered a debate on freedom of speech and expression, with many accusing Bloomsbury of censorship. Authored by Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra, it is now being published by Garuda Prakashan.

It is noteworthy that the book came to limelight after the announcement of an online launch event, where BJP leader Kapil Mishra was supposed to be the guest of honour. While the Delhi Police has stated that there’s no evidence against Mishra, several eyewitness accounts have alleged his role in instigating the riots.

The first major error comes barely 200 words into the book. Former IPS officer PC Dogra, in his foreword, relies on a falsely attributed quote of Jawaharlal Nehru to say that he called himself ‘Muslim by culture and Hindu only by accident of birth’.

It was actually a Hindu Mahasabha leader who had referred to Nehru in that manner and not Nehru himself.

The book contains several such pieces of misinformation that have been debunked in the past.
These include claims like – 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans were raised at Shaheen Bagh and anti-India slogans were raised in JNU in 2016. There is no evidence to support the first claim and the second is still a matter of investigation.

Throughout the book, the authors put forward the narrative that the “Shaheen Bagh protest model” was “exploiting the insecurities of Muslims” because of decisions taken by the government, which included abrogation of Article 370, Ayodhya verdict and passing of the Citizenship Bill.

But the argument doesn’t hold true.

Legal experts have explained and argued that the problem with CAA is that it creates an exemption from the definition of illegal migrant to non-Muslims from three countries who don't have documents, allowing them to apply for citizenship. Muslims from those three countries who are otherwise in the same position, are denied this opportunity as they will continue to be termed illegal migrants.

It also creates a fast track for citizenship for non-Muslims from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan – without even the requirement for religious persecution that technically applies to the illegal migrant exemption (or the 31 December 2014 cutoff).

Again, Muslims in the same position, from those countries and with all the valid documentation, are effectively being discriminated against, as they have to go through the regular naturalisation process which requires 11+1 years of residence, as compared for 5+1 under the fast track.

Secondly, experts have argued that the CAA is discriminatory and a violation of Article 14 of the Constitution, which creates an obligation on the government to treat all people equally, regardless of their citizenship.

Now, the authors do mention these arguments in the book, only to add that “(the argument that) CAA is discriminatory and a violation of Article 14 doesn’t stand because CAA doesn’t apply to Indian citizens”.

Another glaring factual inaccuracy in the book is about NRC and NPR. The authors have said that that this is a “created contestation” that CAA is discriminatory when combined with NRC and the NPR.

They go on to add that rules for a pan-India NRC are yet to be drafted and then take the liberty to mention that whenever they will be prepared, they will not be based on religion.

But the fact of the matter is that there hasn’t been any clarity from the government on that. And about a pan-India discussion on NRC, well a gazette notification that was issued by the Home Ministry on 31 July 2019 did mention the same.

The authors then go on to talk about the “Leftist plot” and say that activist Harsh Mander addressed a crowd at Jamia and said that he has no faith in the Supreme Court.

This is a statement which was taken out of context and shared by the likes of BJP IT-Cell head Amit Malviya, who is yet to delete the misleading tweet. This too had been fact-checked by various organisations, including The Quint.

While these are some of the factual inaccuracies which we saw in the book, the book heavily relies on unsubstantiated claims to make a strong case against the anti-CAA protesters and rely on arguments which lack evidence.

The authors make observations like “the CAA protests are being fuelled by the Left and Islamic fundamentalists” and “Khilafat leaders being idols of all anti-CAA protesters” without basing them in facts, providing any citations or giving the historical context of the Khilafat movement leaders.

There is exhaustive mention of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and former Councillor Tahir Hussain, but speeches by BJP leaders including those by Anurag Thakur and Parvesh Verma have been carefully omitted with the exception of one by Kapil Mishra, who finds a slight mention in Chapter 6.

The book states that Mishra was at the site to broker peace. However, this report by The Quint details eyewitness accounts who have a different story to tell.

Unsurprisingly, even while mentioning the JNU violence in January this year, the book does not mention anything about the alleged involvement of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and blames it on “hysteria around CAA”.

In the final chapter, where the authors bring in the conclusion, the very first point mentions that the “Delhi riots were pre-planned. There is evidence of an Urban Naxal–Jihadi model...”, but throughout the book, they don’t provide any evidence to support it.

Also, this so-called model is not based on any charge sheet or document filed by the police.

The authors have, however, dedicated one full chapter to elaborate on these theories, only to extrapolate that this was the focal point of anti-CAA protests.

The 'Urban Naxalism and Jihadism' Conspiracy Theory

This theory navigates between Maoist literature and the ideas of Khilafat Movement and ISIS in Syria and Iraq without explaining how are these related to the February violence in Delhi.

The terms “Naxals” and “Urban Naxals” have been used interchangeably to stress on the gravity of the issue without acknowledging that as recently as in February 2020, the Home Ministry of India, in a reply to an RTI, had stated that it was unaware of who are “Urban Naxals and how do they operate”.
The lexicon used by the authors is replete with terms like “Islamic radicals”, “Jihadi elements”, “radical Muslims” and “Ultra Left Jihadi Cadre” while referring to the protesters, despite the contrasting ideologies that these terms represent.

They also stress on the need for more research into the network operating from front organisations in public universities and institutions of repute in Delhi. Needless to say that all of this is based on little or almost no evidence, or logic.

The only evidence of their role in the Delhi violence, according to the authors, exists in the form of “videos, photographs and speeches of the ultra-Left and Jihadi cadre present in northeast Delhi in the months preceding the riots”.

Evidently, the book is mostly based on conjectures, conspiracy theories and is also riddled with misinformation, which has been debunked earlier.

It fails to provide evidence for the allegations it makes and goes on to provide unsustained claims in the name of facts. Interesting but fails to present actual evidence, blatant propaganda, no company turned down printing offers yet they continue to go on their separatist rant. Interestingly enough, as India becomes more and more like Hitlers Germany, books like these continue to churn out narratives that extremism stoked by a one Hindu ultra nationalist policy and ideologies isn’t killing India’s secular minorities. What a bunch of bull shit

"DELHI RIOTS 2020 - The Untold Story"

A must read book to know the facts on conspiracy behind Delhi Riots 2020, a first of its kind in India!

The book illustrates the facts engineered to carry out riots in Delhi by Urban Naxals and Jihadis. Exposes the preplanned and systematic radicalisation of minorities by an urban naxal jihadi network operating in universities of Delihi.

The book clearly explains the model of protest. Basically women used as shield at all the protest sites. The Shaheen Bhag model was just anti-Hindu, anti-Modi with Islamic and pro-Pakistani slogans against the backdrop of Indian Constitution and National flag!

The Shaheen Bhag model was just a pre-plannned, deliberate conspiracy to defame India in front of international media at times of American President; Donald Trump's visit. Urban naxals and Jihadis hatched a plan to show their frustration against Indian govt which implemented
- Abolition of article 370 in J&K
- Abolition of Triple Talaq (this is really an empowerment of women yet jihadist and urban naxals do not digest it)
- Historical judgement by supreme court in Ram Janm bhoomi case.

Thanks to GIA team who put the facts in detail on paper. Many thanks to Garuda Prakashan for publishing the book.

Truth prevails no matter how much you try to pressurize or hide it. Some elements in the country tried to prevent this book from printing as it would have uncovered some disguised people. They failed miserably. The truth is out now.

The book is carefully divided into eight chapters explaining the pretext, the riots and the aftermath. Authors have put efforts in gathering the facts, compiling them and putting them in the form of timeline of events. Though I felt that there was a lot that has been left out which could have been even worse than the events explained in the book. Maybe the details have been avoided to stop any further provocation. But you feel it.. You feel that the gruesome details have not been incorporated into the book.

Chapter eight is the most significant part of this book which tells us about ground stories and narratives of pain. You can skip all the book if you want to but don't forget to read this one. After reading the book, If you are smart enough, you'll hate Kejriwal and Delhi government. That impotent man will face dire consequences for his inaction towards bringing criminals to justice. He did nothing for the people who voted him for second time.

This book might be missing some details but it tells you the right ones. Must read.

Disclaimer: I have received this Review copy of this book by the publisher in exchange of an honest review. Neither the publisher nor the author(s) pay any fee or otherwise offer compensation in exchange for this coverage , and no company was given a preview of the content or given copy approval rights concerning the same.

I do not know how many people are aware but to give some context to those who aren't , this book was in the limelight fairly recently . It was supposed to be published by (fuck) Bloomsbury India , who had read and authorized the contents of the book to be published , but just as the book was about to be published , they pulled the book. "Apparently" on the orders of Bloomsbury UK , who took the decisions due to "the outrage" by leftists on twitter. I will not give my opinion on the same. I feel each and every one reading this post is capable enough to form their own opinions.

It is often said that we are today seeing an acute clash of ideologies. I more or less think that what is actually happening is a breakdown of civility, acceptance and mutually enriching dialogue which is issue specific. It is not about being conservative or liberal, but treating the other with respect. Quite often, this attitude degenerates into confrontation, abuse & at times violence. Country after country, the cycle now repeats.

The authors spoke to a wide range of people and suggest that the violence was probably pre-planned, also timed to coincide with the then US President Trump’s visit. Many local leaders tried to calm the situation as it spun out of control, but that was not to be.

I found the coverage to be fact based, though it could have been more diverse. Overall, the book makes for an excellent read.

Wait... I am forgetting something. Aren't I ?

Yes , We are seeing a similar pattern today in these so called "Farmer" Riots , which couldn't have anything less to do with Farmers. These people are just here to divide India , with a whole different set of motives. The authors could write another book on that itself! Just like the Delhi Riots were pre-planned and timed to coincide with the then US President Trumps visit , these riots were planned to coincide with the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnsons visit. They turned seriously violent on the Republic day and with concurrent proofs that it was all pre-planned.

To top all this up , there's the Greta-gate. Greta Thunberg , as many of you all know , is an "activist" who is known for challenging several world leaders regarding climate change . How do these riots relate to climate..... Lets not go there. Anyways , she tweeted regarding these "Farmer" Riots and that the world should heed some attention this side. Also , with this tweet , Ms. Thunberg , on purpose , also tweeted a TOOLKIT , which exposés this entire ecosystem. It also exposes the Rihanna tweet , which was so obviously paid . To this , all i care to say is , Beti Bachao , Beti Padhao.

The IMFs Chief Gita Gopinath and the US Government also have praised the farm laws. So you tell me , whose opinion matters? A World Renowed Economists or an ex-pornstar, an uneducated 16 year old and a "pop"-stars?

Anyways these are my 2 paisa on this topic. If you're still reading , you're amazing . Thank you.

Strongly recommended for all Indians in the present era. Excellent, thorough analysis of the Delhi riots supported by evidence and valid citations. The book is of course an abridged version of the formal report that the authors submitted to the government. But it makes alot of sense. The book doesn't have empty claims and opinions. The authors' statements and explanations are based on their own research in the riot-hit areas of Delhi and research of literature on the modus operandi of the rioters and organizations planning the riots. Documents have also been clearly cited to support their claims.
This book makes us as Indians aware of the larger threats facing us in the garb of NGOs, urban naxal outfits, radicalisation of people.

I ordered this book only for the sake of curiosity, but was shocked to the core at the level to which the Islamist Fundamentalists and Urban Naxals have gone to create havoc in the North East Delhi during the last week of Feb 2020.
While INFLUENCE is something that determines global powers' attention, visible fault lines in the Indian society make for a deterministic policy upheaval; this is even more critical because of our past (colonization by the two largest religions of the world) and the continued interference in the Indian subcontinent.
We might chose to hush the matter under the carpet because we still haven't reached the 'existential crisis' yet. But mark my words, with the ways of workings of the Indian politics and the toxic cocktail of Urban Naxals and Islamist Fundamentalists, we shall definitely reach that spot in a few decades time.
India needs a 'Truth Reconciliation Commission' without much delay.
A must read for the sake of being more informed, while not sugarcoating things.

It is a must must read. Alarming nexus between urban naxals, radical extremists, anti-India elements, politicians who planned this elaborate riot when POTUS was in India just to get western media's attention who no less are biased in their own pseudo Liberal ideologies to showcase that India is under some fascist government.

Are we really in the 21st century? It was heart wrenching to read 20000 books were burnt in a school and the smoke from the library continued on even after 3 days. Does this remind you all of Nalanda University ? The same story continues with these extremists even in this century.
There were catapults, home made petrol bombs, rifles, snipers. How did the rioters prepare for all this? Who mobilized and funded them?

I sincerely believe that government must take few steps to reach out their actual policies and curb fake narratives that riles up the masses. Otherwise this kind of dangerous nexus will only serve to exploit the diverse population and destroy our unity.

A very insightful deep dive into the 2020 Delhi riots - not just the sequence of events during the riots, but the chronology of 'liberal activism' around CAA that preceded the riots. Based on extensive field work and interviews with affected people, the GIA team calls out the poisonous mindset of the urban naxals and the liberals who will leave no stone unturned in their nefarious designs to destabilize the Indian nation.
A must read for anyone who wants to go beyond the sound bytes of television debates and social media tweets.

And Garuda Prakashan - thank you for not buckling under pressure and making sure this books sees the light of the day.

This book is a very good sign that the mainstream narrative is being challenged & busted with facts & real ground reports.

The detailing of the Jihadi-Communist partnership is well captured. The buildup to the riots is captured very well.

The details on the planning is amazing & a poot of concern as more of such riots will happen in the 2nd tenure of Modi Government

Only one advice to the authors is to create a website for this book to provide all the snapshots of social media post & pictures. In monochrome it is not very clear.

The land on which Indraprastha once presided saw a first of its kind RIOT. Urban Warfare.
The strategy of"SHOUT in the EAST and STRIKE in the WEST" was brilliantly orchestrated for ulterior motives. A must read book. A lot of research has gone into the making of this book. A separate annexure is provided and it's based on facts, not on agenda.
