A girl down her luck (after a series of unfortunate events almost her whole life) met a knight with tarnished armor, saving her when she needed the most. I liked how the dynamics between two different unlikely pairs created such hottie chemistry. The H was all you can think of when hearing bad boys with a golden heart. Yes, he's determined and possessive but he's willing to wait for the h to open her heart and keeping a respected distance for her convenience. I think that's truly a gentleman; something that sometimes lacking in this type OTT installed books. The plot progressed smoothly and took us bit by bit on how their romance bloom as they both comfortable with each other.

Alanna has aged out of the orphanage she was in and gets kidnapped and put up for auction. Maddox is trying to get his MC to go straight but when his bears sees Alana at the auction, he knows that she is his mate. How will she feel about that? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and intense chemistry. Great characters with plenty of twists and turns. I liked this shifter read.

Brilliant loved it
Alana has worked hard after leaving the orphanage aged18 to save money so she can travel now she just needs to buy a ticket but that didn’t happen as she is being kidnapped. Alana tries to escape but the men are too strong and wrangle her down the stairs and corridors into a room with a man and makeup. Alana sits down asks the man questions but he can’t answer or they will kill him. Alana realises what is going to happen when she is made up and then given a skimpy dress to wear and goes on stage to be auctioned off.
Maddox has come to Richie to cut ties on the business deals he has with him he sees the girls on stage being bid for then the next girl has his bear thrashing inside him she is his mate and he ends up bidding for her winning by making a deal with Richie that Maddox is never going to do. Maddox goes to get Alana and she is feisty but he needs her to come with him and now as they need to run.
Alana goes with Maddox and ends upfront on his motorcycle a quick one minute how to ride and off they go but she can’t ride a bike but when they start getting shit at Alana takes control so Maddox can shoot back.
Once back at the club Maddox gives Alana a room, food and when Alana talks about money and earning he gives her a job at the bar he needs to keep her close as she doesn’t know she is his mate or even about mates until she asks if he is a bear. Maddox spends the night talking to Alana all about shifters.
Alana uses the dating app and sends a sample of her DNA and waits for the results one of the girls told her about it. The pull to each other becomes to much for them both and spend the night together but Maddox wakes to an empty bed and Alana’s room is empty.
Richie has found there new club and is here for Alana and his money also Maddox as he has gone back on his deal but no one gets to his mate. His bear bursts out of him and is joined by the rest of the mc club until Richie is no more.
Alana explains where she went and where all he clothes are in his wardrobe all this while he slept and then Alana showed him the results on the app she is his mate but they didn’t need it in the end as deep down they knew all along they where mates.

Maddox is a polar bear shifter in charge of a motorcycle club. He's trying to make them go legit and the last major hurdle in that process is breaking the ties with the man using them as part of his drug operation. Maddox is almost in the clear . . . and then he sees Alana being auctioned off to the highest bidder. The kidnapped young woman's been beaten, but she's far from broken. Maddox breaks her out and they go on the run, but just how long can they escape their pasts?
Maddox was introduced in SAVAGE, the previous Shifter Dating App book. This MC arc has featured darker plots, but I'm not mad about it. The constantly shifting subgenres have kept the series dynamic and interesting. These changes also help to ensure that there's something to entice every kind of reader. In addition to the dark elements in MADDOX, this is an age-gap romance. However, none of the characters make a big deal out of it. The information is presented in a very matter-of-fact way instead of being used as a source of cheap drama. It was honestly a nice change of pace.
With the next book, I'd be just as happy to be introduced to another MC member as I would be to see a totally new cast of characters. Whichever route the author decides to take, I have full trust in them.

I am worthy! Alanna is kicked out of the orphanage at 18. She is ready with her life plan, excited and ready to make her mark on the world. Then she is kidnapped. Her kidnappers, let her know she is product, disposable, has no choice in her circumstances and should be grateful. Her primary thought is surviving long enough to escape. She blusters and responds to her kidnappers, not really grasping the gravity of her situation. Then reality hits. But she doesn't show her fear, she lets her sass show her displeasure in her circumstances. Maddox is head of the Lucifer Spawns. He's trying to take his MC straight, but he has a few weights he needs to shed. He rides alone to meet Ritchie who wants him to sell weed in his club. He doesn't want his club along in case negotiations go south. He expects to solve the problem with diplomancy. He is surprised when Ritchie shows him an auction of women. Then he sees Alanna, who his bear recognizes as his mate. He makes a deal that goes against his principles to save Alanna. Will she appreciate his gesture? Will Ritchie accept the deal? Maddox his president of his an all shifter biker club, a club of reformed killer, drug dealers and ex mafia, shifters who want to live clean normal lives and find theirs mates. And Maddox is no exception, but he is ok if it never happens for him, he just wants to protect the others. Few of the bikers have already found their mates through the dating app, when they send in their DNA and a human women sends in their DNA and the app matches them up. Maddox wants to run a clean bar and one person is in his way, Richie. When he arrives to talk to Richie, there is a slave auction going on and the woman on the stage is is mate. All Maddox can think of is getting to her and protect her.
Alana is leaving town and waiting for her bus when she is kidnapped and taken to a warehouse, to be auction off to the highest bidder. When she was bought a gorgeous man comes in and said we need to run to safty, but she soon learns he is not the person who bought her, he just wants to protect her.

Alana is waiting for a bus when she is kidnapped to be sold the highest bidder in some kind of auction. When Maddox, President of the Lucifer's Spawns MC, happens to step into a club to take care of a business issue, he finds something he never expected. There is an auction being held to buy women! Even worse, he sees Alana on the stage, apparently his mate, and he is compelled to save her no matter what it takes!
Some of the bikers have already found mates using a dating app that uses their DNA to match with a human who sends in her DNA sample as well. But Maddox has never had time to think about finding a woman until he sees what Richie is up to with human trafficking! How will Alana fit into his future? Or will she run away at the horror of her experience?
I love this series the author is writing. Poor Alana is not finished with the danger yet, so be sure to grab your copy and see what else is coming at her. The good thing is, though, that she won’t have to deal with it all alone now that Maddox is aware of her!

Alpha polar bear shifter Maddox (H35) is too busy as the president of the Lucifer’s Spawns MC keeping the bikers with dark pasts in line to worry about finding his own mate, though he does sign up for the Shifter Dating App along with the rest of the club. Alana (h18) is on her own after growing up in an orphanage, only to wind up kidnapped by traffickers. Maddox goes to see Richie, the crime lord the MC has been tied to, to let him know the club is out and finds his mate, Alana, being auctioned off. He lies about having the funds to pay for her and ends up stealing her away to the clubhouse where he hopes to convince her to stay. The two find themselves drawn to one another, and just as things heat up between the two, Richie shows up intent on getting payback against Maddox, Alana, and the club. Hot and steamy age gap, MC, shifter quickie romance with a bit of violence. Loved how the club came to their defense and how Maddox helped Alana fulfill her travel dreams.

LOVE these Shifters – especially the BEARS! This is about Maddox and Alana. This is not only a shifter story but one of an older man with a curvy younger woman. The story starts off with Alana about to start her new life as she has been in the Orphanage home and has now aged out, she is also a very curvy plus size young lady. Well this doesn’t seem to stop the guys who just kidnapped her in order to sell her off as she has no family to look for her. The problem is that Maddox is the MC’s president and he is on his way to meet Ritchie to let him know that this club is going straight and they will not have any dealing with him, but the moment his polar bear sees Alana on stage, he knows that she is his mate! The story has a lot of action and sweetness to it. I love it.

This book has everything and then some. Tough beginnings for the characters, but they want to get clear of their pasts and do right in the future. While trying to break away from evil, the alpha finds his mate and must save her from being sold. The characters are all strong and determined to reach their new way of life. The backstories of their trials round out the characters and you want to keep your fingers crossed for them all. This rag tag group has joined together to form a strong bond. With Alana now in their midst, they keep her safe when the evil comes calling. Loved the group and the ending is so cool. The suspense throughout the book keeps you on your toes, but the banter and romance keeps you turning the pages. From one biker to another.... way to go!!

Alana just got out of an orphanage when she is kidnapped off the street. Not knowing what to expect she is stunned when she is put up for auction. Maddox is at the auction to end ties with the host when he sees Alana and knows that she's his mate. Maddox manages to get them out of the auction however it wasn't done legit and the bad guys give them chase. Alana doesn't know if she can trust Maddox given he won her at an auction. Can Maddox show her that he is different from the men that kidnapped her? Will she see that they are perfect for each other?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Alana is alone in this world, orphaned and left in foster care, now she is just wanting to make something of herself, the is before she gets kidnapped.
The road Maddox and Alana have to travel are easy ones. They are filled with uncertainty, pain and danger at every turn, while hope, love and a family are within their grasp if they are willing to take the chance. Their story has the right amount of action that will keep you on the edge of your seat, with the hope they can make it out.

I enjoy this series and the concept of a "Shifter Dating App" but I would like the series even more if the app was used for the characters to find each other instead of them using it as a confirmation that they are fated mates. Alana had a rough life in an orphanage and once she is out on her own, she's kidnapped to be sold. Maddox is a bear shifter and in charge of his motorcycle club. The last thing he wants is a mate. Fate has other ideas and when he first sees Alana, he has to save her. Maddox was a great guy and I loved the way he treated her. The path to their HEA had a huge obstacle to overcome but happiness prevails in the end.

Maddox, Prez of an MC and is more worried about burning all teh bridges of their past life to make this better for teh future. Well, until he sees Alana on an auction stage. High speed chases, bullets flying, fighting and getting kidnapped a second time in one day was not the plans Alana had in mind. A quiet place to sleep, full belly and a job was her plan. After Meeting Maddox, Alana’s life will never be the same. Great delivery of characters and story.

Maddox is trying to turn his MC into a clean club with a fresh start in a new city. He needs to break his deal with Richie, but it turns out Richie is worse than he thought. He may lose everything. Alana got kicked out of the orphanage she had been raised in. She gets kidnapped while waiting on the bus. She meets Maddox. He rescues her but this causes complications. This is an action packed book. The characters have chemistry. The president didn't want to find his mate but fate gave him a different idea. Now if he can keep Alana and the club safe.

Alana was a BBW that was an orphan and was on her way out of town when she was kidnapped and put on auction. Maddox was the leader of a shifter MC club that was trying to get clean by cutting ties and leaving town with certain people. When he went to cut ties with the main one, he realized that his mate was being auctioned off by him, so he lied to get her. The fast and fun romance of Alana and Maddox was filled with running from bad guys, lots of.danger and lots of loving from one particular polar bear. Fun read.

Short but super good. I love the storyline with the dating app for shifters to find their mates. It's a fast paced story that you will finish in one sitting. I'm a curvy woman and I love these stories. Alana is raised in the foster system and at 18 she's ready to take on the world. As she waits for her bus she's kidnapped by sex-traffickers. Maddox happens to go into the club where they sell women. He takes one look at Alana and his bear stands up and takes notice. Will Alana be able to fit into his biker life? Maddox and Alana's story started off darker than the others in the series, but of course ended happily ever after. I liked the fight in Alana. She came from a difficult background but chose to not let it hold her back from what she wanted. Things went sideways a for little while, then Maddox showed up unexpectedly. From there, things began to turn around for her. I liked Maddox too. He was gentle and patient with Alana due to her past. But when it came back to bite them both, all bets were off, and he wowed to protect her at all costs. Nice quick read!

Erin has given us a strong storyline with great characters. Maddox and Alana met under horrible circumstances. Sometimes the rescuer is the one who needs the rescuing more. It's nice to see this series is going strong. I wasn't sure about this book after reading Savage and not really liking it. This book has changed my mind. I'm not one to read about motorcycle clubs but this was worth it. I highly recommend this book.

This wonderfully written book 9 in the Shifter Dating App Series was intriguing as it had some very well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable.This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, good shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I am will be on the lookout for books and series by this Author

Oh, to be matched with a polar bear...who is also the president of a motorcycle club? AND involved with a shady crime group? Yeah, this book has EVERYTHING! Everything includes all that and the super fun shifter dating app that ends up cementing matters of the fated connection for our friend Maddox. He is matched with a super fierce, fiery, strong woman with a background that could have broken her but instead made her that much stronger. Love, love, LOVED this book. A chance meeting of Alana and Maddox, only to take a turn for a quick escape from people after both of them. Good fast paced storyline with like able characters and an intriguing adventure these two people endure. I like this style of writing that it is straight forward and honest no OTT drama. Enjoyed the ending as these two develop a full life together.

A great story. Maddox runs the MC. It’s his life and that means he doesn’t need any distractions. While out on Club business he encounters s big one. Her name is Alana and she’s in big trouble. She has no idea who this man is but, he saves her and she trust him. Will they even have a future when the past shows up at their door?

Once again. Erin Havoc, has managed to keep me entertained with this series. I found the characters to be entertaining, if a little annoying at times. I thought the story was fun, but I would have liked to see it be a little longer with a little more depth to the story and the characters. All in all, this was a quick, fun read.
