It’s summertime in Riddler’s Edge, so how come it feels so chilly? While the town prepares for a performance of The Snow The Musical, some very frosty murders occur. Have the victims been frozen by an over-enthusiastic air conditioner, or is there magic involved?Aisling will need her friends to help her crack this case, so it’s a little unfortunate that Dylan is avoiding them all. He also has a secret visitor at the lighthouse, and Aisling is itching to get to the bottom of that little mystery, just as soon as she stops the entire town from freezing to death …
A.A. Albright lives in the Irish countryside with her husband.
She loves reading in every genre, but writing cozy mysteries is just about the most fun she's had in a decade.

I love this series so much! Every time I start into a new one it feels like I’m coming home. And I think this book has been my favourite so far. I laughed a lot and the mystery had me guessing all the way to the end.
I have no idea how I can ever put it into words, I’ll never be able to stress it enough... I’m SO happy A.A. Albright decided to continue writing books for this series. These books are the height of joy in my life.
The story and mystery in this one was fascinating. It’s always fun when an author gets inspiration from fairy tales and folklore. Fans of The Snow Queen will love this one.
And, of course, just like with every single other book in this series, it left me starving and in need of deliciously cozy meals.
Mix a little bit of Hans Christian Andersen, a little bit of A. A. Albright, and a whole lot of Riddler's Edge hijinks, and you get the delightful insanity that only Aisling and friends bring! The heartbreak is real, the mystery keeps doubling back on itself, and the storyline is completely engaging. And how much are we loving that broom?!
Albright never disappointments with unique mystery plots and great characters. The series wouldn't be as good as it is without Fuzz and Broom. Broom is unlike any character I've read before yet it truly works. This was an excellent read.
Albright's creative writing and vast imagination has once again drawn me away from my reality into another masterly crafted book. Bravo dear author!!! I anxiously await your next masterpiece!
Loved this one, although I was biting my nails and hoping for a happy ending - which I thankfully got. I just loved the dialogue between Ash and Dylan towards the end of the book.
Even though this is my favourite subset of the cosy mysteries from Albright, this book fell a little flat for me; indeed, I was so unengaged, I kept forgetting I was reading it.
If you are starting the series, do not start with this one. Lots of twists and turns with references to previous books in the series. Serious surprises.
