After Tonight

Rate this book
One night can change everything.

Nico has been in love with his best friend for almost as long as he can remember. He’s spent years suppressing his feelings and has finally resigned himself to a life of meaningless relationships with men who will never be Jack. But when a clumsy accident results in a passionate night between him and Jack, he isn’t sure he can keep his feeling in check for much longer.

Jack has known Nico since he was eleven years old, and has never thought of him as anything other than his best friend, despite years of people telling him how perfect they’d be together. But when one night together proves not to be enough for Jack, he starts thinking maybe he should have been listening to those people all along.

Can Nico and Jack make a friend-with-benefits arrangement work without damaging their friendship?

After Tonight is a 16K word standalone MM romance that includes years of pining, friends with benefits, nosy friends, and so much clumsiness.

☆ «— Nico.

This was my first read by this author and I really liked it.
It was a cute friends to lovers story.

Nico and Jack have been best friends since they met at 11, but Nico's been in love with Jack since he was in his young teens. Jack, however, is completely oblivious to this. Even if Nico was the first person he thought of when he needed to share something, even if they were together for nearly every day, even if they kissed and hugged; all of these things meant they were just each other's best friends.
Or was there more to it?
He needs another friend to point out the obvious.
And since that moment, he's slowly starting to see what was before him all along.

Very sweet novella, well written and with two really adorable MC's.
It won't be my last read by this author.

Good fun with sweet interactions between characters. One clueless guy who can't see the adoration from the other.

I love these short novellas because you get all the good parts with no angst. Jack and Nico were adorable and even though it took them years to get together, it was worth it. This was a really cute and sweet love story!

Easy and enjoyable romance between 2 best friends. Jack and Nico were perfect in being sweet and sexy. I had to laugh at the joint break up...they really did do everything together!

I love low drama stories like this where best friends realise they are perfect for each other. Even better when one has been in love with the other for a long time
