Get engaged… that went spectacularly horrible.

Mr. Wrong was sleeping with my ex-flatmate and they ran off to be married.
But I had my flat, my fun and I’d sworn I’d be fine… And then Mr. Scottish Seducer showed up.

Now I’m making a new list of everything wrong with Charlie Grannd.
1. He kisses like the devil is here for me.
2. He makes my ex upset.
3. He sees right through me.
Beep.
Even this list must be wrong. He’s arrogant, bossy, and demanding.
My pulse shouldn’t race.
There is absolutely no way we’d ever get together.
And when it happened once, it must be a one time thing, right?

Scottish business can’t be trusted, but what happened when we can’t stop and I stop writing my diary? Honestly I didn’t see happily-ever-after possible.

Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston before moving to the Miami sun. She’s worked in engineering, after passing many tests proving how easy Math came to her. Then hating her life at the age of twenty four, she decided to go to law school. Four years later, after passing the bar and practicing very little, she realized that she hates the practice of law. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.
During all this time, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down. Her parents are practical minded people demanding a job, and Victoria spent too many years living other people’s dreams, but when she sat down to see what skill she had that matched what she enjoyed doing, writing became so obvious. The middle school year book when someone wrote in it that one day she’d be a writer made sense when she turned thirty.
Besides her full time job of teaching, in 2013 and 2014, she sold on her own sold books to three different publishers. The Zoastra Affair, Chaperoning Paris, Borrowing the Doctor, and Electing Love will be published from Soul mate Publishing. Mything the Throne will be published with Double Dragon Ebooks. Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush will be published with Jupiter Press.
Now she is represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency and she hopes to continue selling her novels that she writes. Moving up to the next level from hard work and determination is rewarding, and partnerships bring new opportunities.
Also she’s the Vice President of Progams for the Florida Romance Writers. She’s gone to multiple conferences and intends to continue. She learns and meets so many people at conferences. Her website is here, www.victoriapinder.com, and she’ll continue to grow my web presence. She is working hard on other projects and found the time to plan her wedding this year.
Before writing, her father had taken her to many star trek conventions and on her own she grew up as the only girl in the 90s at the comic book store. Science Fiction was her first love, but contemporary romance was her second. She’s sticking with contemporaries for the near future.

I have never seen anyone so into Jane Austen like Stephanie. I can’t imagine ever going to Bath and dressing like the characters of Jane Austen’s book like Stephanie and her three friends did. I felt bad for Stephanie when she walked in on her boyfriend and roommate. That had to be a terrible feeling. The CEO of the company she works for needs his car picked up in Scotland and Stephanie’s boss sends her to get it. It is funny how the two meet and find out about the other. Unfortunately Charlie’s college girlfriend only wanted him for his money. Needless to say he has trust issues and thinks every woman is after his money and not him. There are secrets that blow up, and trust issues on both sides that need worked on. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

This is book six in The Steel Series and it is Stephanie and Charlie's story and what a story it is. Stephanie is in London to work and as a huge Jane Austin can she was so happy to be there and also on the committee to help promote it. Stephanie was going up to Scotland to fetch her boss Charlie's car to drive it back to London and she was looking forward to the break. Charlie was second son to a Scottish laird and loved getting investment for his various projects so when he asks his brother for some money for a new project his brother gives him an ultimatum. When Stephanie and Charlie meet there is an instant chemistry between them and they were staying I the same inn then they find out that Charlie is Stephanie's boss and as she needs her job nothing can happen or can it. There are many different twists and turns and that is what makes this an amazing read and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. Victoria Ponder is an amazing author and writer and I have read all of her books and I have never been disappointed and that is why I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her as they are definitely worth reading.

Scottish Seducer by Victoria Pinder is an opposite attract office romance. It’s the seventh book of the Steel series and it’s about Stephanie the last single sister and her boss.
Just like most of the books from this series, it’s a desire/all-consuming instant romance. It has a nice fun plot, easy to follow, and somewhat hot on occasion.
The reenactments were a pleasant touch and I would have wanted to see a greater amount of them all through the story. I liked the run-ins with the ex and how Charlie reacted each time.
My favorite scenes were when her friends met the duke and the wedding.

The characters had good chemistry. Just as the title says, they were the exact opposites but they were both dreamers and they knew what they wanted from life. Charlie was a charmer, kind, and giving. Stephanie was a sweetheart, hated confrontations but wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself.

In conclusion, the book is entertaining, I enjoyed reading it and I recommend you to read it. I will rate it with 4.5 stars.

Stephanie’s life may not be turning out the way she planned between a job that is nothing more than a pay cheque and being betrayed by her ex and her roommate but at least she has her fascination with anything and everything Jane Austin to keep her entertained.

Charlie is a man who has a reputation with the ladies but due to his past guards his heart and he also happens to be Stephanie’s boss. When Stephanie is tasked with bringing his car from Scotland the sparks fly but with the secrets between them things are about to get complicated.

Stephanie and Charlie were so much fun together but if they are to have a future together they must first work through the misunderstandings that stand between them.

An amazing story of a downcast Stephanie finding an intelligent dreamer, Charlie. Miscommunication, timing, and trust all work their way against the couple. In the end, love wins out as is to be expected. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Happily Ever After. Romantic. Steamy. Twisted. Wonderful characters.

Stephanie is all about Jane Austen and re-enacting the life and times depicted in her stories. She's also nursing her betrayed heart after catching her (ex) roommate with her (ex) fiance. She's in a job she doesn't love, but it allows her to continue following her passions with Jane Austen. When she is given the job of going to Scotland to pick up the boss and drive his car back to London, she never could have guessed what would ensue. This is a quick and easy read with plenty of chemistry between Stephanie and Charlie, and repeated sightings of her ex-roommate and ex-fiance. A nice start to the series.

Book six in the Steel series brings Stephanie and Charlie's story. The author once again brings strong characters and an entertaining story line. She does a great job building the story and moving it quickly and smoothly. I loved watching the relationship grow. Her scenes are painted perfectly and she had me hooked from start to finish reading their story. I loved and would highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Stephanie is the last Steel sister to meet her true love. I think Charlie should have been more honest sooner but they make it work in the end. Richard and Ann are not nice people and they deserve to be miserable together. I love Stephanie's friends and hope they each find HEA. This story keeps you turning pages till the very end.

Stephanie is a Jane Austin obsessed, American woman living in London. She also recently became single after dumping her cheating fiancé. Sure she won’t be able to find a modern version of Mr. Darcy, she is resigned to live her life alone. She meets Charlie Grannd, her boss, when she is tasked to drive his car from Scotland back to London. Charlie is a very handsome and wealthy man, and a dreamer who likes to invest in ventures that are considered fanciful but might also save the world. He is a known player and adventure seeker, and doesn’t often hear the word “no” from the ladies. His brother, the Duke and Laird of his clan, doesn’t take Charlie’s business ideas seriously. He tells Charlie that if he gets a steady girl friend who can offer a more stable influence for him, he will reconsider investing in his newest venture. Well Stephanie is beautiful, caught up in the past, and able to say “no” or “wait” to Charlie. When he does a background check, he finds that she has connections to some very wealthy and influential people. He becomes determined to win her over so that he can pursue his brother as an investor in his new business venture, as well as show his worth to his clan as well. As he begins his pursuit of her, he admits to himself that doesn’t hurt that he is fiercely attracted to Stephanie.

What follows is a mixture of advance and retreat for him, and giving in then steeling herself against his charms for her. He has the home advantage when she is forced to move in with him when she is suddenly displaced from her apartment. His attention, his wanting to know more about her Jane Austin re-enactments, his humour and his very hot kisses wear down her resistance and Stephanie finds that she has once again given her heart away. Charlie has also fallen in love, but he has been hurt in the past by a woman more interested in his fortune, and suspects that Stephanie might also be more interested in his wealth than him. After his agreement with his brother is revealed, Stephanie flees. Too late he learns his lack of trust and the lie is something Stephanie may never forgive. How will he win her back?

This book is a thoroughly delightful read, full of flirty and funny banter, and sexy seduction. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Stephanie is the last unmarried Steel sibling. She moved to London and has a mediocre job in order to be close to all things Jane Austen. She meets Charlie Grannd when she is sent to Scotland to bring his car to London.
Let me say this: I have never been enamored with Jane Austen's books. Therefore, I don't understand what all the hype is about. Because of this, I don't "get" Stephanie and her friends. Even so, I enjoyed reading Scottish Seducer. I also enjoyed learning about the traditions of Scottish weddings (assuming the the author has fact checked all the pertinent information). This novel was entertaining and I am looking forward to reading the friends' stories.

Stephanie Steel was the last single sister of her family. She lived in the last two years in London, worked at Pure Industries as a clerk. She didn’t enjoy her job but it paid the bills and let her enjoy her fun time in Jane Austen’s world. Because of her cheating ex-fiance and her traitor ex-roommate/»best friend», she needed to find a new roommate soon. The new boss had ordered someone to go to Scottland to get his car back to London, and she was the fortunate one to do it.

Charlie Grand was the second son of a Scottish laird. He was relieved of all the requirements the title had but that and his former life left him without credibility for his future business idea. He wanted to open a bank but his brother, the duke, refused to invest unless he looked more reliable. The only way to prove it was to find a steady girlfriend, who would be smart, opinionated, and who could stand up to him.

They met on her way to retrieve his car and there was an instant attraction between them. The fact that she was his employee didn’t faze him one a bit. He was ready to woo her and have her as his proof for the investment. Even though they spent a great time together, his plan backfired because he fell in love with her and lied about his early intentions. He made some bad choices towards her but in the end, his honesty and his charming ways won her heart.

Scottish Seducer - a review by Rosemary Kenny

*slight spoilers*
Can Charlie Grand, the eponymous Scottish Seducer become Mr Darcy, to Jane Austen fan (and youngest of five Steel Sisters, in Victoria Pinder's #6 in the Steel Family series),Stephanie Steel'sElizabeth Bennett wannabe, in Scottish Seducer?
American Beauty Stephanie has an insecurity issue that has dogged her since childhood. She's an avid reader of and day-dreamer about Austen's world, full of well-mannered gentlemen and graceful ladies, dancing at elegant gatherings in stately mansions, where they can flirt with suitable young men.Stephanie's taken a mundane 9-5 job in London, where she can tour the Austen heritage sites in the UK with more ease, than as a high-flying executive back home.

When a shocking event changes her status as a satisfied fiancee, to that of a jilted and heartbroken woman seeking a shoulder to cry on, followed by another startling one, which sees her unexpectedly flying from one end of the country to the other, will it be love this time around? Can Stephanie Steel finally find her Mr Right?

Grab a copy of Scottish Seducer by the amazing Victoria Pinder to find out if Love can find a way for Stephanie's sense of self-pride/worth to overcome her prejudice against letting herself be smooth-talked into a relationship, that involves such a great difference of expectations and perceptions - it's a real winner!

This was a very enjoyable tale, where all men are found to be as a male character in one of Jane Austin's stories and jewelry also judged by pieces in her stories. All manners and customs are imitated as they act out the Regency period. Stephany Steel and her like-minded American pals living in London drink tea morning, noon, and night as they worry about immigration rules and hand-sew their costumes for the next reenactment. The way she met the CEO of the company she worked for and fell in with him so fast fit the light-hearted pace of the book until he made it obvious that as much as he wanted to, he didn't trust that she wanted him for something other than his money! But when they make up, she gets to assume Scottish tradition and customs as he had supported her interest in English Regency. When you find out where they plan their wedding, you will agree it's a perfect site for them!

Can any man live up to her heroes in Jane Austen books?I loved Stephanie. She was a hot mess, but smart, funny, beautiful, and after her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend, she wasn’t about to let another man use her and lie. So after meeting Charlie and having a whirlwind romance, she falls in love with him, but finds out she was the means to him gaining his brother’s money in an investment. Now what does she do? He says he wants to start over with no more lies between them, but she never really thought she fit in his world, and she can’t trust him. Now she might have to leave England, leaver her friends, and leave the new wonderful life she has made. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Scottish Seducer!

Scottish Seducer by Victoria Pinder is Book 6 in the Steele series. This is the story of Stephanie Steele, who is the last unmarried Steele sister. Stephanie is a huge Jane Austen fan. When she discovers her fiancé with her roommate, her life makes a drastic turn! She is ordered to go to Scotland to drive her boss’ car back to London. She meets a man along the road to her hotel, and they have instant chemistry! Of course, he happens to be her actual boss!

This is a wonderful adventure from the age of Regency. Stephane and Charlie are perfect together! A fast, fun book!

A great, well written romance.

Miscommunication, timing, and trust get in the way at the start of this couple getting together.

The story is easy to read, romantic, twisted, entertaining, steamy with wonderful characters and an eventual happy ever after.

I love this book very much. It is not a long but it can bring me into the characters very well. But i have only 1 problem reading this book. I have to admit that i only watched ‘sense and sensibility, and ‘Pride and Prejudice’ once. So i really have no idea when they compare characters with the characters in those books.

This was a fun and spicy story. A relationship that starts out as a bet was not supposed to include love. But when the bet comes to light Charlie is contrite and Stephanie is not forgiving. This was only temporary since he is rich and Stephanie is not. There could be so much more if they let out their true feelings. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Scottish Seducer

This story is of a young woman who left America to go to England because she was a fan of the Jane Austin novels and re-enactments that took place periodically. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

Let down

The series is good. This book was a let down with the story line and there is a place in the book the sisters and their husbands get names incorrect which takes away from the story as a whole.
