Rate this book
From Psychologist and author Dr. David Maloney comes a book outlining the entirely counter-intuitive way to overcome procrastination (putting off important action) and achieve success in your life. Rather than emphasizing the same old mantras you've heard a million times before (work harder, hustle, grind, push yourself), this book shows you how to access a powerful, deliberate, compassionate and encouraging aspect of your own consciousness. With this, nothing is off limits to you.In 'Procrastination Decoded' Dr. Maloney outlines a highly effective method for overcoming the common psychological blocks that keep us from engaging with everyday action steps. Rather than telling you what to do in laborious detail (you probably already know this), the book retrains you in how to think about and perceive goal-related work. From here, positive, self-empowering behavior falls into place naturally. You'll learn how almost everything you've been taught about personal productivity and procrastination is wrong. Dr Maloney lays out a completely new approach to getting things done. No more inner-conflict, self-sabotage, struggle, and broken promises. Your self-respect, confidence, and output will skyrocket. And above all, you'll start having a lot more fun in your life. Don't procrastinate on starting this journey! It's not what you've heard before. What is the goal of this book? I’ve read the book in one sitting and the ideas presented in the book completely resonated with my own experience. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to understand real causes of procrastination and how to tackle this issue once and for all.

Don't pull back the curtain

Wow, I am still reeling from the conclusion which I see a 1 star reviewer summed up already below. If only I had known I could divide up my evening into half hours of productive time in which to ignore family and friends to get on with a side hussle.
