A sweet love story about waiting...on God's perfect timing, on the preparation, and the fulfillment of dreams. I loved the telling of the gospel story in dialogue and the explicit plan of salvation. It was not preachy but naturally flowing in the conversation.

This is book two in the author's series, "Rugged Cross Ranch". Though this is the story of James and Emily, there are sweet scenes between the characters from the first book, "Julie's Joy". The other characters (who each are featured in one of the books in the series) are developed as well.

My greatest enjoyment was that this story perfectly illustrated the following:

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." (Ps 37:4)

"But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Great book! I read it in one sitting because I was so into the story line! The book was refreshing as it brought so much of the Word of God and His purpose to the reader. Loved the characters and the real life situations and how to resolve them with God. Hope there is another book in this series!
