My three hot coworkers and I are in competition. But our rivalry is hiding a fire that could burn us all.
Cameron, Keegan and Mathias are the hottest lawyers in town. But I find them to be cocky and obnoxious. As their co-worker, and the only woman at the firm, all I want to do is rub their faces in the dirt. They're my competition for the new senior partnership. And I always play to win. Little do I know that something is happening behind my back. My three rivals are getting together. But it has nothing to do with trying to earn the promotion. These men have discovered that love is just as fun as war. And they want me to join in with them. It turns out the alpha men at the firm are bisexual. They say my feminine curves will add to their masculine mix. When a work dinner turns into more, I question everything. Because falling in love with three men is impossible, right? Plus, they're supposed to be my enemies. But a lot of things aren't turning out as expected lately. On the surface, we're exploring new horizons together. Yet this could all be part of an elaborate scheme. Or it could end in disaster if our secret tryst is found out. Somehow I can't stay away, though, no matter the risk.
Has our short-term battle for domination over one another turned into sharing equal pleasure for good?
Four Competing is a bisexual menage with m/m, m/f and m/m/f action and romance. It has no cliffhanger and no cheating. And it has a happily ever after served with plenty of heat!
I feel it necessary to explain my stars (I'm not usually one to give 3 stars, but I do occasionally). I like the fact that swords cross in this RH book, and I love the chemistry between all the characters.
However, the story, to me, didn't flow very well. There are scenes that happen and I don't understand how when something else entirely was going on.
I'm usually a fan of Mia Masters, but I just wasn't feeling this book at all...
I enjoy well written MMFM. This was disappointing. The writing was choppy. Spelling and grammatical errors in the version I read.
Somehow now that the four coworkers are in competition for a client they hop in and out of bed with each other and can’t keep their hands off each other?
In a short period of time, one character goes from thinking he might be bisexual to making out with a man in his office to having sex with Cindy in her office to having sex with a different man in the office restroom. Really? Are these supposed to be professional adults or horny teenagers? MMFM is difficult for an unskilled writer to write since it requires making four characters three dimensional, giving four characters a history/backstory, and making the relationship interestingly convincing. It is necessary to care about all four characters so when the HEA comes the reader is happy for the characters.
The story started with such potential but it fell flat. The sex was frequent but it could have been more detailed so that it was more interesting.
Two stars. It loses a star due to NO concern about pregnancy or safe sex; because all four characters behave like irresponsible twits.
Erotica written by someone who doesn't speak English?
What on earth? Short, choppy sentences that are in desperate need of an Editor. Lots of grammatical errors, like the subject and verb don't match. Even the tense changes mid-sentence on a number of occasions.
The only problem I had with this book was quickly these men started having sex with each other. The story begins with me thinking they don’t get along and the next thing you know everyone’s having sex with each other.
This story it shows how rivalry can be lust. Four ambitious lawyers computing with each while denying the real reason for their competition because at the end they all can loose their hearts.
I was really excited for this set of books but I just couldn’t get past the writing… I guess style? There was no flow whatsoever and it made it seem like the MC had absolutely no personality. DNF
I received this book as part an arc review. Cindy, Cameron, Keegan and Mathias are in competition to be partners in the firm but all discover what is more important. They give up the partnership to get what is more important. In the end they are all winners.
