Don’t miss the final installment in the Treasure of Paragon Series!

He’s a dead man walking.
After three hundred years, Marius must face a world that has moved on without him. Haunted by the horrors he endured and desperate for distraction, he finds relief in a dragon named Harlow, the alluring daughter of a washed up Paragonian aristocrat. With her help, he makes his return to the fighting pits. Only without his former royal status, victory is hardly guaranteed.

She’s flirting with danger.
Life as Harlow knew it is over. Her family was lucky to escape execution for their former support of Empress Eleanor. Now, she’s just thankful to be alive and that her keen talent for wagering on the Pits has proven a means to keep her family afloat.

Together, they’ll battle demons known and unknown.
When Harlow’s father shares his plan to mate her off to a ruthless business tycoon to catapult their family back into Paragonian high society, she fears only a huge financial windfall will save her from a harrowing future. She’s placing her bets on Marius, but will the former heir apparent live up to his glory days? And will either of them survive the battles waged outside the arena?

After three hundred years, Marius has returned from the realm of the dead. It isn’t easy returning. His body is changed, and he feels weak. The nightmares aren’t helping either. The only thing that brings him relief is training. His brother spars with him and each day he runs farther through the village to towards the mountains. It is on such a run that he meets Harlow, the daughter of a washed up Paragonian aristocrat. Like Marius, she is a dragon. She spends her days betting in the fighting pits to feed her parents, who seem to squander whatever she brings home.

She remembers Marius in the fighting pits. He is surprised she is unwed. The two strike up a friendship and she trains him. I love the tale that unfolded as we watched their romance develop. He is so broken and she never expected to find a mate.

Of course, we get updates on Paragon and the other siblings, making this a fitting end to the series. Holly Adams has narrated the series and does a tremendous job of giving voice to each of these characters. All have unique personalities and it shows through her tone and pitch. I highly recommend listening.

Perfect for fans of paranormal romance, dragons, suspense and standalone romances with an engaging series arc.

While this wraps up the series, Jack has given us one more book about Princess Charlotte. It released in March 2023 and is not yet on audio This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer

seriously Terrific Dragon Shifter Romance

This is a seriously terrific ending to the Dragon Shifter Romance series, and i think it was just great. It had a goodly amount of smutty moments and it had a good amount of danger as well such that it made for a good story. I look forward to reading about Charlie.

Genevieve Jack keeps her promises. Once again she delivered a smoking hot book packed with romance, scrumptious sex scenes and her promise of happy ever after.
This was the end of the Treasure of Paragon series. Nine wonderful books I've been reading over the past three years. I will miss the world she created and the wonderful characters. Years of mystery, suspenseful situations, stolen kingdoms, war, magical people, witches, Fairies, Vampires and of course our beautiful, powerful dragons.
This last one is about Marius, the first and last Dragon. Haunted by 300 years of being in a type of hell. He must find himself before he loses everything. Harlow is strong, beautiful and determined. Her trial is overcoming the disgrace of her family after they made the wrong political stance. She must fight for her independence in a culture that believes she should be a married masterpiece. Harlow loves pit fighting. She knows her fighters and she can teach men to fight better, also not the norm. Marius is not your average dragon though. Together they can save a kingdom and so much more.
This is a wonderful book. I will miss this world of magic and dragons.
I received this as an ARC and this is my honest opinion and review.

Nooooo! Say it isn’t so! Don’t let The Last Dragon be the last book in the Treasure of Paragon series!

FIRST AND FOREMOST I strongly suggest that readers proceed in order. This is the ninth in a nine book series and I can’t even begin to describe the millions of ways in which it is spoilerish to all the previous books.

Okay, still with me? Good. You’ve been warned. The Last Dragon is a must read for anyone who loves dragons, witches, wounded heroes, feisty independent heroines, royal intrigue, child prodigies with mysterious powers, sinister nightmares, otherworldly dimensional quests, and most importantly, fated mates.

Marius is the eldest of seven royal dragon siblings known as the Treasure of Paragon. His very existence is a surprise, but as they have said many a time in this series, “sometimes the dead don’t stay dead”. Returning to the living after being away for three hundred years isn’t simple, and when Marius seeks to return to the fighting shape he once knew, he enlists an unlikely source, the Doormaker’s daughter. Yeah, that’s right. Harlow, daughter of Darium, former Doormaker to the Paragon elite, is unfashionably well skilled at judging and assessing pit fighting. Since her family’s fall from grace after the end of Eleanor’s reign, Harlow has been struggling to save her parents from debt and despair. Coaching the former heir to the Paragon throne is a fortuitous opportunity, but will they keep things strictly business?

Genevieve Jack is able to layer much character and plot development into this story because she has taken time to build on her foundations. This had everything I loved about the previous books. There was romance, honour, sacrifice, heroism, magic, and SEXY times! Very sexy times. I really feel that she was true to the spirit of the entire series in giving us this look at the mating of the last royal sibling and a better understanding of the future for Gabriel and Raven’s magical daughter.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who loves epic fantasy. Think of it as Game of Thrones, except the dragons are hot guys (and a gal), the witches are not “dark and full of shadows”, and you won’t be disappointed with the ending.

My sincere review is voluntarily offered on an ARC provided by the author.

I’m sorry to see this series end. Every book has been well written with great character development and exciting plotlines. If you haven’t read the prior books in this series, you need to for this story to be enjoyed to the fullest. The entire series deals with the children of the royal family of Paragon-The Treasure of Paragon. Earlier books take place on Earth, but the last couple have been on their home realm of Ouros. And this book is Marius’ story, the oldest son, who was beheaded 300 years ago. I won’t say anything further concerning this book, but if you like reading Paranormal Stories about Dragons, then you need to read this book and the series. Even though Genevieve Jack has said this is the final book, I hope she will consider writing more, telling us more of the family’s futures and how they decide where they will have their homes, any challenges they will face and if any children are born, reading about them and their future tests. In any case, I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Jack. I received an ARC of The Last Dragon from the author through BookFunnel and this is my honest opinion.

The Last Dragon by G. Jack is book nine and the conclusion in The Treasure of Paragon Series. This book is not a stand-alone, I recommend to read the books in order.
Marius and Harlow are a great match.
Marius is back reborn after his mother held him for centuries. And Harlow and her family lost their status when the old empress abdicted. She works hard to make ends meet, is not the typical female dragon. She loves being independent, loves visiting the pit, loves being in the middle of things. And when the two meet again they could help each other thrive.
TLD is a fast paced, complex story, unputdownable. A read in one sitting book that gave me all the feels.
Reading teh book was bittersweet. Sweet bec. it's a fantastic read and a bit sad saying goodbye to this outstanding series. I loved meeting all the characters from previous books again, reading what happened after their hea. I recpommend the book and the series.

A spectacular, firework filled finale

While I am sad to see the end of the Paragon series, Genevieve Jack did not hold any punches back on the story of Marcus and Harlow. Their story is probably the steamiest out of all of them and I absolutely loved how they both are damaged and struggling to overcome their insecurities. Harlow is a kick ass and take no names kind of girl and right up my alley for a strong female character. Marcus needs a strong woman and the sparks fly with these two. I could not stop reading this one. Fantastic book and fantastic series from an exceptionally talented artist and author.

100/10 definitely recommend.

I read this book as an arc copy, so I ended up finishing it at the first moment I had a day off from work because I knew it would be a great read and I was right. The Last Dragon gives me all the feels I could ask for. I cant decide If I want to make it my new number 1 or if I want to make it runner up lol. But I digress. The Last Dragon has what anyone could want in a book, it has fighting, survival, love, sadness, and a very happy ending. I have and will continue to recommend this series to anyone I can. So if you are reading this review please go out and get a copy for yourself you will definitely enjoy it, or at least I hope you do.

The end of the series but in no way disappointing. The characters were sexy and likable. Both down on their luck in different ways but they come through adversity by sheer hard work and find each other on the way.
I've loved this series and it's definitely found its way into my read again pile and my heart. If you haven't read them, go buy them all and get yourself a cup of tea and get comfy.
