Fiction Mixed With Fact
Amy Jarecki writes with passion, combining fascinating historical facts with fiction to bring Scotland's tumultuous early years to life. Her "good" characters are so charming, bold, brave and daring. The villains are equally brutal, arrogant, ruthless and evil.
Then there are the love stories! Sensual and filled with tension, sexy but not overly graphic. True knights respect a code of honor and treasure the women they love, repeatedly risking their lives to defend that honor as well as that of their clansmen and king.
Historical fiction at its best!
I would also add that these books are very well edited with very few typos.

Every book in this series
Every book in this series was interesting and enjoyable to read. I am sure I will keep them on my tablet and re-read them in a year or two. I am also going to find and read some of her other books . This was a series about first a mother. Than about two of the daughters. Than the granddaughter. You get to read about these ladies lives in other books. Would recommend these books.

Best romantic series
I truly enjoyed the entire series. It kept my interest from page 1 thru last page of the last book! Of the 5 books, the second in the series really touched me most of all ( without going into great details) but I will say, my late husband's name was Duncan Stewart. :)
These books are my addiction and I plan to read many,many more.

Life in the Highlands
A really good collection of stories about fabled Scottish heroes, all very enjoyable. Each story had its own charm, and, although the heroines were definitely feisty, each one was different.

I’m really enjoying this series but then I love all of Amy’s work. She’s my current favorite author!!!!
