She said her favorite genre is crime, this book was a crime to read. It's obvious she made this just so her fans such as everyone who is giving it above a 3 star rating for some reason, can give her the money she wants. I mean seriously, people that have the name of charlixxx._xxxlove are writing reviews. They're obviously doing this just to boost her rating. She is a good dancer, but that is it. Her fandom needs to realize that she isn't a celebrity, she isn't a writer, and she isn't someone that has a special position that allows them to go to a restaurant every night during a global pandemic. Am I wrong that her and her family does that? The same applies to every tik toker. Just stop making her so overrated.

Essentially Charli provided an inside look into the life of the viral TikTok star Charli D’Amelio. I gave this book four stars because I wish she shared more about her other interests and aspirations. Besides dance, we don’t really know what Charli likes. Overall, this book had great life advice for pre-teens and bright colorful images. I enjoyed getting an inside look into Charlie’s childhood and what we might expect from her in the future!

Why is zero stars not an option. I’m pretty sure a 3 year old could right a better written, and more interesting book. Not only is this book gravely boring, it also spreads a deadly disease, never wanting to pick up a book again. I would rather pay someone 10 dollars to saw off both of my big toes, then have to pay for this book again

Now I am not a 14 year old- Charli obsessed girl- but I read this book because Charli seems like a nice, genuine, and interesting person. And this book proved no different. I do bot believe it was just a cash grab because you can tell the young star put a lot of effort into making it entertaining for her TARGET audience. So all of the Young Adults please go back to the YA section- because you can plainly tell you are not her target audience.

This is the most inspirational book I have probably ever read! It is great for younger viewers because it is a collage-style book so it is not just full of words and long paragraphs. I highly recommend this book because pretty much everybody knows who Charli is so they can see what she does from her perspective.

This book was not horrible but not the best book in the entire world.
Most of the book was pictures.

Am aflat de la niște fetițe de Charli D’Amelio. O urmăreau de pe mai multe conturi de social media.
— Dar de ce o urmăriți?
— Pentru că e influencer cu 50 de milioane de urmăritori pe TikTok!
— Și ce face pe TikTok?
— Se filmează.
— Făcând ce?
— Orice. Ne arată viața ei. E minunată!

A trebuit să citesc „Esențialul despre Charli” ca să aflu că e vorba de o dansatoare — admiratoarele nu erau sigure că idolul lor are vreo ocupație.

„De ce ți se acordă atâta atenție?” e întrebarea cu care haterii o necăjesc pe Charli. Răspunsul e evident: pentru că hrănește visul tinerilor că pot reuși rapid, fără mari eforturi și fără calități ieșite din comun. Pentru că are ce-și doresc și ei: vacanțe exotice, vile spectaculoase, gașcă de prieteni cool, invitații de la Prada etc. Pentru că trăiește o viață în care școala și munca nu sunt probleme.

Dar să revenim la „carte”. Nu e carte. E un oracol modern, genul acela de caiet în care fetele scriau banalități despre ele („ce înseamnă o relație pentru tine”, „cum te-ai descrie în trei cuvinte” etc.). Avem poze cu Charli și o lipsă de originalitate deprimantă.

Și iată „oracolul” lui Charli pe piața românească, în cea mai execrabilă traducere cu Google Translate. Câteva perle: „are întotdeauna prioritățile ei în prim plan”, „grupul meu de prieteni adoră să călătorească unul cu celălalt”, „dar îmi plac foarte mult portmoneile”, „dintre toți din lume, mă consider cea mai responsabilă”. Și tot așa.

Charli e „scriitoare”. Google e „traducător”. Părinții cumpără „cărți”. Fetițele își aleg „modele”. Iar eu mă cred nemuritoare de tot citesc prostioare.

Nota mental: no volver a leer un libro de una Tik toker.

No estoy generalizando pero por favor, what is this?

Pensé que el libro sería muy diferente, y no me refiero a que no tuviera fotos porque eso era imposible si se hablaba de un libro de un Tik toker. Pero al menos que sí tuviera mucho más texto.

Realmente el libro no nos cuenta nada que no sepamos de Charli, solo es información que podemos encontrar en Google con fotos que a veces son screenshots de sus Tik toks.

No creo que haya escrito ella el libro y lo peor de todo es que a veces (al menos en la versión en español) aparecen unos iconos que dicen “real talk” y eso no me deja claro si es que lo demás no es una real talk o que.

Y lo peor es que el libro fue muy caro. Solamente por tener el nombre de Charli D’Amelio en la portada
