The information is excellent, but I wanted to leave this one star review to warn other people who may be purchasing the book for the maps, which are atrocious. The back said the maps are worth $500 alone. I’m sorry, they are worth nothing to me. You’d think they would have at least marked the PCT in some way that made it stand out, but nope, just a black line. Again, if you’re buying this for the text and have other sources of maps, go for it. But just don’t buy this expecting the maps to be useful.
