Johan Toet crew up in the roughest neighbourhood of the Hague, a major city in the Netherlands. In surroundings where no one had a 'normal' job and crime was the rule rather than the exception, Johan had to build an identity for himself, and would do anything to be good enough for his 'friends'. He became a notorious criminal, earning millions as a druglord and getting anything he wanted. He was incredibly wealthy, but devastated by an intense feeling of emptiness. Who could he really trust? Betrayal and rejection were around every corner, draging him deeper and deeper into dispair. What kind of life had he made for himself, and how could he find a way out? His life took a dramatic turn when he was arrested and sentenced to eighteen years in prison. One night in his cell, he saw his life flash before him. Sitting on the edge of his prison bed, as if struck by a bolt of lighting, he found the answer he had been looking for all his life. It turned his life completely upside-down. Johan's autobiography aims to show that everyone is good enough.

I’ve had the opportunity to hear Toet speak at conferences a few times now. His story is so interesting. I’ve heard him speak on his experiences, but the book goes more in depth. Knowing where he came from and where he is now, all through the love of God, is remarkable. No one is ever too far gone for God to reach.

This true story is such an inspiration. Johan Toet grew up in one of the roughest neighborhoods and had to be tough to survive. All he knew was drugs, stealing, and fighting. It started with petty theft, and as he got older, he felt the need to impress everyone. He craved the approval of his father, and was willing to do anything to get it. One the small crime leaders to something bigger and then even bigger. From selling drugs , to manufacturing them. He finally had it made. More money than he could spend, the expensive cars, big houses, and the drugs to sell in huge amounts, no small stuff, and all the drugs for his personal use. He was high 24/7. He had it all…or so he thought. He wasn’t happy, he needed more. And realized he really didn’t want this life, but it is all he knew. No skills. This tells how Johan, turns his life around with the help of God and how he finally realized that he is Good Enough, and that he has always been Good Enough. How can someone that is so broken, and doomed, gain respect and completely turn his life over and do what God asks. And can he make it through the attacks from Satin when he is determined to take back Johan and his family

Very inspiring book i couldn't out it down read it in a few days he was an addict and drug dealer that found God for he was in prison at his life changed after the have his life to God he has a ministery and writes few other books also but he also offers his books for free his ministry does wonderful things I have 3 of his books and getting the 4 th one his writing style is verbally in learning about our Lord Jesus i also downloaded two bible study he had made they are r for beginners and it you have trouble understanding the bible because of not knowing the meaning of alot of the words the Lord n Johan toet is who you need to read. The bible study are basic and both have about 30 topics they are also few to download his books are free to order and free shipping but only one at a time offers free shipping keep checking back every month or so is when it changed as you can end up with all his books for freee

The first half of the book describes how Johan successfully became wealthy from being a drug lord, and quite frankly was a little alarmed at how any wannabe criminal might use this as a how-to manual. But Johan described how money stopped bringing him happiness, but brought pain, and how when he turned to Jesus, his life dramatically changed for the better!
