This is a non-stop series of unending adventures as Matt Laing leads the citizens of his adopted hometown in regaining control! Matt takes over for the Sheriff, after he is injured, and leads the Deputies, and the townsmen in a full bore revenge in taking care of the bad guys!

Never read a story by Mr. Slade that wasn't a five star masterpiece, and this Matt Laing extravaganza is definitely five stars worthy. Never a dull moment throughout the entire story, as it is one exciting episode after the other, as the good guys perseverance and camaraderie got to extreme measures in removing the unworthy scum from their town.
The outstanding storylines successfully portrays compassionate dedication, and determination, to undermine the very scum of the earth from their little western mecca. Too, the author's character selections definitely portrayed their assigned roles to perfection. After the Sheriff is sidelined with injuries, Matt is appointed temporarily as Sheriff, and pulls no punches on bringing justice to the area. The Author pulled no punches in his descriptive renditions of how the town was finally tamed!
Most definitely recommend this fascinating detailed rendition of realistic old western folklore adventures to everyone, but you western folklore addicted fanatics will definitely be appeased with this compassionately motivated success story. Even you non-western readers will find yourselves completely mesmerized by Matt and his crew, as they continuously fulfilled their assignments with exceptionally outstanding enthusiasm! Try it! You will love ever compassionate moment from beginning to end!!!😅

Matt Laing is an ex-bounty hunter who has found a home in Reno. He showed his worth to the town when the Shaller gang came to town and he had to deal with that. Now, Crawford Sorrell figures to own the town. With Matt as the acting sheriff, what chance does he have. More than enough action to keep you from putting the book down!
