The h is often outrageous, her smart mouth is her weapon. Now we discover her tough façade hides a terrible hurt. The H is her mate but he denied her when she was younger. He's still mean when he finally admits that she's his mate. He's never going to be tame but I loved that once he admitted his faults to her, that was it for him. Loved their story.

Savage Hearts is the fourth book in the Shifters of Darkness Falls series of stand alone novels. Let me say at the outset of this review that Jasmin Quinn is one of my favorite authors. When I see that she’s written a book, I buy it immediately. She has never disappointed me, not even slightly. Her stories are always top notch fiction.
This is the tale of Ren, an alpha Mountain Shifter, and Cherime, also a shifter but also a female who is as strong and bold as he is. They were a delight to read as I watched them spar. Ren met his match with this woman. While he desired her greatly, he had hurt her in the past. Because of this, she was less than enthusiastic at his initial attentions. They are true mates who, at different times, fought the mating. So much fun to watch them.
While being a stand alone book in a series, there is a mystery that runs through all of these stories, something terrible and dark and very frightening. I keep seeking clues as I read, but so far I’m unable to decipher who is actually behind it. I’ll keep reading these stories until the mystery is revealed.
My favorite things in Ms. Quinn’s writing are, not only her main characters, but also her side characters. They are fully fleshed out, true personalities in their own right. They give a richness to the story that I appreciate very much. And, as usual with this author, the plot is completely engaging, well constructed, and fully developed. Her world building is beyond good, and her characters are interesting and believable. I simply adore her writing. If you enjoy PNR, then these stories are a must for your library. Highly recommended.

Funny, Sexy and Fierce!
I absolutely loved Cherime and Ren’s story. There’s lots of funny moments, some very sexy moments and Cherime is an amazingly fierce woman. This is one suspenseful and thrilling story that you won’t want to put down. It is emotionally intense throughout between Cherime and Ren. They are a fierce power couple.
Cherime is a fantastic character. She’s witty, smart, strong and funny even when she doesn’t realize it. Ren is her total opposite. He’s 100% alpha-ahole. He’s angry, demanding and has no filter on what he says. But even though Ren and Cherime are opposite they somehow work perfectly.
The anger, passion and chemistry between Cherime and Ren oozed off the pages. They made my heart race and I could feel the intense connection these two have. Their passion was explosive and it kept me completely captivated by it.
This is a fantastic series with lots of action, suspense, thrills and highly erotic moments. I think we are finally starting to gets some answers about who is doing all the killing. I have my theories but we will see how they turn out.

I rather enjoyed the h Cherime . She has a wicked sense of humor, just as stubborn as the H Ren, and can hold her own very well with all the male alphas bluster. Doesn't hurt any that she can also take care of herself in dangerous situations. Now Ren thinks he knows best( eye roll insert here) which caused him to make a serious mistake 8 years ago with Cherime and in usual alpha fashion just keeps on putting his foot in his mouth. He is an alpha (growl worthy) , protective of his mate, and has some very sexy moves so it does earn him some brownie points. It has an interesting plot, secondary characters I am fond of (especially one sassy crazy omega lol) and sizzling chemistry between the couple. I loved it and would recommend this book!

This is book 4 of Darkness Falls but would definitely work as a standalone.
Ren messed up, bad, and he and Cherime spent years apart. Chance throws them back together and he stakes his claim. Cherime wants to guard her heart, but they are fire.
The humor in this one had me laughing out loud multiple times and a few parts had me in tears. The sinful parts were sinful, and I love the frenemy dynamic with the women.
I'm not good at rehashing plots, so I will just say I highly recommend Savage Hearts.
No other woman drama. Five swoony stars.

I'm really liking this series
This has to be the more humorous of the series to date.
And I am so so so in love with Leah!
How can you not!
As the story continues, I'm getting an idea of who the murderer is, and his accomplice.

Great shifter series
I've said it before and I'll say it again this is a fantastic series. I loved Cherime and Ren's story as much as the others. I also love all of the side characters is this series. Great writing!

Good read.
I really liked this book. Love the characters of Darkness Falls. This book in particular had a lot of laugh out loud moments for me; and a couple of OMG moments too. On to book 5.

Cherime and her Mountain Alpha shifter Ren are a second chance, enemies to lovers, paranormal romance with a side of mystery. Ren can be impossible and Cherime knows to hold her own but the two are clearly made for one another despite their vast differences. Leave it to Jas Quinn to serve up all this yummy goodness and also create a world and characters that are so engaging and three dimensional. If you’re into shifter romances, or even if you’re not, this standalone book in the series will not disappoint.
