Gabrielle has worked as a Senior Lecturer, Course Leader and Dissertation Supervisor at universities in the UK and South Africa. Her specialist subject areas include business research methods, information systems, human-computer interaction, systems analysis, and accounting information systems.
In addition to her special interest topics, she has taught on a variety of information systems related courses, including e-business, economics of information systems, management decision tools and communication skills. She has published extensively in the fields of accounting and information systems and have substantial industry experience in both sectors.
Gabrielle has chaired a School Ethics Committee and has developed curricula for individual modules and degree programs. She has also worked successfully as a business analyst in the software development, finance and management consulting sectors.
With almost 25 years’ experience in teaching and researching in universities, Gabrielle is now concentrating on sharing her knowledge through private tuition and book publications. She has supervised hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate theses and dissertations, helping students with all stages of the dissertation process, from writing the research proposal through to the final completion and submission of their dissertation. Having acted as a Personal Academic Tutor to students at all levels, she has provided one-to-one guidance on assignments and have helped students to gain a deeper understanding of their coursework.
