I’m no stranger to beautiful places and beautiful women; the life I’ve led has left me jaded to both…or so I thought. Then a working holiday photographing the wild, lonely places of America leads me to a goddess. She’s all long black hair and dangerous curves, fiercely independent, with art in her soul. She sets me on fire, she turns me inside out—and in so doing, she shows me the man I’ve kept hidden within the inner sanctum of my lonely heart.
She is Poppy Goode, and I cannot live without her.
Hitchhiking from Manhattan, New York to Ketchikan, Alaska seems like a pretty interesting way to discover one’s self, and one’s purpose in this universe. I meet all kinds of people along the way, so it’s not entirely surprising when I catch a ride with a gorgeous traveler from New Zealand. He’s golden, tall and lean, and his accent is to die for—a New Zealand twang and roll that lilts and makes me laugh. He’s got a million stories, each more unbelievable than the last: he’s an adventurer and a photographer for Nat Geo, but none of his crazy, fascinating stories can hide the sadness in his eyes.
We are both brave about everything except ourselves, and we embark on a path that takes us over the craggy mountains surrounding my heart and his. We share scorching, undeniable physical chemistry, but letting ourselves be really free requires immense courage, unflinching honesty, and vulnerability…which neither of us are certain we possess.
There’s a map for highways, but if there’s a map for love, I never got it.

The final book in the Badd/Goode series was wonderful!
I loved how Author Jasinda Wilder gave us all these sexy, smart, fun loving and bighearted family characters that are soo memorable.
I love them all.
Poppy & Errol are the Cherry on Top of ending this series.
Even with Poppy being the youngest of them all, her story of setting out into the world and finding herself was a fun journey to read. Errol was a perfect match to Poppy and when these two meet, it is hot!
Steamy times and seeing them discover the world in their eyes was soo enjoyable to read.
And of course we get a full circle of seeing where the Badd & Goode family are at.
I read all the books in this series and after reading this one, I want to start them all over again and relive this family history all over again.

I stumbled across this series some how one day and fell in love instantly. All the characters are so well written that you can’t help but keep thing yourself...just one more page... until you realize you’ve just read the whole book.
I will miss all the Badd brothers and Goode sisters. If you haven’t already started this series, do it today!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "GOODE VIBRATIONS" ( THE BADD BROTHER'S) Jasinda Wilder didn't disappoint writing this adventurous story that pulls you right in from beginning to end. Poppy is hitchhiking from Manhattan NY to Ketchikan Alaska meeting lots of people along the way she on a self discovery figuring out what her future holds journey. Errol is from New Zealand he picks up Poppy hitchhiking they have an immediate an immediate attraction to one another he's a Nat Geo Photographer and tells her some amazing stories she shows him what he's been missing out on. I definitely recommend to get this well written book with very interesting entertaining characters that have scorching hot chemistry you also get to hear what's happened to some of the previous characters from previous stories which was great it's a myst read you don't want miss so well worth the read.
My mind is still reeling from all that this book is. Poppy and Errols' story was full of angst and plenty of steam. I will feel this book and all of the ones before it in this series forever. From the very first book I have been hooked, waiting impatiently for the next in this series. Thank you for the vivid characters and their individual stories of each couple. Thank you for keeping my imagination full of the vividly described locations where these people live and love. Thank you for being the creative genius that you are.
What a crazy ending to an amazing series. We finally get to meet the last character in this series. And boy does Poppy not disappoint! And Errol is the perfect match to Miss Goode! So sad to reach the end, but what a way to go!
I’m so sorry to see this series end, but many parts of this book, Poppy’s story, read more like porn than anything else. The entire middle was redundant. And how does a 20 yr old know so much about all the things? If I’d started with this book, I probably wouldn’t have gone back to the beginning to read the rest of them, starting with Bast. And that would have been a shame. I very much liked the very ending, with the update on everyone’s lives and the next generation.
Last of the Goode girls! Last of the series. How do you write a review for perfection. How do you take a 17 book series in which you've hung on a string waiting on each book and review it. I've written so many reviews, some with my weird sense of humor. But this series is one I will remember and definitely re-read. This final book is about Poppy Goode, the last unhitched Goode girls. Poppy is an artist /photographer. She is intelligent, creative, beautiful and extremely lousy at choosing men. Erol is a photographer for National Geographic. Always on the road or in the air or hiking to get the perfect shot. When Poppy finds out her sister is getting married in 2 weeks, she decides to hit the road and head for Ketchikan, Alaska. When I say hit the road, I mean on foot. Always relying on her internal "creep meter," she feels she is good at only accepting rides from strangers that are safe. Erol has purchased an old Caravan and is traveling in a sort of work/sabbatical road trip. He takes adrenaline, high risk shots. He has been doing this for a long time and basically needed a short break. While Erol is driving, he sees Poppy on the side of the road taking pictures. Little did he know that stopping to offer this girl A ride would change his life and shake out all his sad bits. Thank you Jasinda Wilder for this phenomenal series. Every book in this series is ubelieveably good. I can't wait to read your next series.
I loved this book. I wanted to read it slow because I knew it was the last in the Badd and Goode series. I loved how this book showed Errol and Poppy's love grow. I loved this series and I am sad. Jasinda the Lives Lived: A Postscript of the characters was wonderful. Your Note From The Author was amazing! I cried reading it.
What a FABULOUS finale for this series! Poppy & Errol what a great couple! Who knew picking up a hitch hiker could work out so great! ;) As always Jasinda writes where you can feel the passion jump off the page, my kindle was hot! Sad that this series is done, but excited for whats next! This series will for sure be a re read favorite of mine going forward.
This book is a bit bittersweet as it brings the series to an end, yet it makes sense, there are no Badd/Goode people left to match up. And while I'm sad to not read about these motely bunch any more this book closes things up well.
I really liked Poppy and her spirit, yet I wanted to yell at her when she started her trip to Alaska. She was so young and pretty, all I could imagine was all the bad things that could happen to her as she planned to "walk" (read hitch hike) to AK, even as I knew this was fiction and not a real person.
Errol was fun too, he came off as happy go lucky, but when his past was revealed you realize that wasn't the case. He and Poppy matched really good and I hated it when they both were stupid and made the choice to separate, but so happy when that didnt' stick. From there it was interesting how they changed their relationship, both realizing it had the potenial to be real and wanted to take the chance.
Once they arrived in AK, they were pulled into the family whirlwind, a good and bad thing. I loved the frank talk that Poppy had with her mom, the things that they revealed and realized. It helped later when Poppy and Errol were ready to face the future of their relationship.
I liked the last chapter, liked how we got to see how this crew grew by leaps and bounds.
Poppy catches her boyfriend in her bed with her two roommates, packs up her stuff and heads out for a walk to Alaska from NYC. She has saved a few thousand dollars and plans to hitch, ride and walk across the country. She’s an artist so she packs up her artwork and sends it to her mom in Alaska and then has a few hundred rolls of film and plays to take pictures along the way. Errol is a photographer for National Geographic. He’s an orphan and at 24 has taken all the adventurous pics. Now he needs a break. So he buys an old camper van and asks nat two for six months to explore the country, taking pictures of obscure things off the beaten path. Originally from New Zealand, his mother died of cancer when he was 12 and his dad was a bit of a traveling fiddle player who came home once in a while. Errol plays the fiddle too and after his mom died he went on the road with his dads band. Then at 16, Errol found his dad dead of an overdose while on a tour. He stayed with the band for two more years but never really wanted to play the fiddle, just felt forced. One day Errol sees poppy taking a picture on the side of the road. He asks her if she wants a ride and they head out together for a few days. They have a mutual attraction and end up falling into bed together. Then they part ways because he’s heading west and she’s going to Alaska. She finds out her sister is getting married so she’s in more of a hurry to go north. Two hours after parting ways, Errol realizes shit sucks without poppy so he turns around and tries to find her. After 12 hours he gives up. While sitting at a truck stop diner, he sees her get out of a truck and finally they are reunited. They decide to go to Alaska together and spend the rest of the trip agreeing not to sleep together and to really get to know each other instead. They get to Alaska for the wedding and then spend a few more weeks there. Finally, Errol rents a cabin in the woods and they go for two weeks where they realize they for sure are in love and going to be together forever. They plan a future of marriage, kids and picture taking.

Poppy Goode drops out of school and decides to walk and hitchhike her way to Ketchikan, Alaska. On the road she meets some very interesting individuals and stopping to take photographs across the U.S. At one stop, while taking some pictures, she meets Errol Sylvain, a fellow photographer who agrees to drive her as far as he can. Errol is also on an adventure to take photographs of the U.S. for the next 6 months. Poppy and Errol are immediately attracted to one another and the fact that they are both photographers and share a love of art is a plus. The conversation between them was easy and they enjoyed each other's company and the sexual tension was very high. Both Poppy and Errol had some issues with their pasts and I liked the fact that they were able to open up to each other on the trip. After parting ways, Errol realized how he couldn't just let Poppy go and tracked her down and decided to drive to Alaska together. Once in Ketchikan, Poppy and Errol got swallowed up by the Badd/Goode clan and made welcome. Errol got to go all over, take amazing pictures, help whoever needed help and just made feel at home and part of the family. Poppy was happy to be with her mother and sisters and meet all the amazing wives, girlfriends and significant others of the Badd men, and just like Errol got roped into helping out with every project under the sun. But Errol made sure he and Poppy had their alone time in a cabin away from civilization. Poppy and Errol fell in love on the road and it blossomed in Alaska. I loved how Ketchikan became their home base but went on to travel the world together and make art together. I really enjoyed reading the Badd/Goode series about how two families became one and built their lives and empire in Ketchikan, Alaska. The epilogue was pretty awesome and to see everyone's lives and what everyone was up to was great to read. I do hope that we get to visit Ketchikan, Alaska again.
Poppy has decided to get out of New York so she has packed up her stuff and then packed a backpack but getting out of New York on foot isn’t easy. After getting to a not so nice part she finds a ride with some dude but he soon shows his true colors and is a creep. After getting away from him she is pick up by a nice old lady the gives her food and a place to sleep for the night and then takes her to a junction where different roads meet. Errol is a photographer for National Geographic but he’s a little burned out and needs to have some him time so her finds a vow camper van and mow he doing back roads and taking photos and his time. Until he see this chick on the side of the road bent over taking a photo and all he sees is her fine ass. And that’s how he meets her her trying to get the perfect picture of a purple flower growing out of the asphalt of the road. He offers her a ride and she accept and soon fine they have things in common and are attached to each other but still not sure what’s going to happen between them or if they should split ways. After they do he just doesn’t feel right so he need to get her back. So enjoy this good read and see if he finds her and what will happen after he does !! I also have to say it was nice that the author gave us a message to let us know there won’t be more in this series and why. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience with these characters !!
It's hard to wow this review, so I've waited a few days to do so. I have ABSOLUTELY loved the BADD brothers series and the journey each book had brought. This book just wasn't my favorite, it really took time to grab me- I looked the characters, Poppy was a pretty great female lead and Errol had lived a life to almost be jealous of. They both have some parental issues and have so much in common! For the first probably half of the book I enjoyed what was their adventures, their meeting and those initial giddy feelings. But it was slow moving with a little to much repetition for me. This particular book I didn't feel like the words just flowed off the pages, but were instead being forced ont into the book, almost as if it needed more time to talk to author Jasinda Wilder. I feel like maybe if this book was held off for a month or so and allowed to breathe, the characters to speak and let the author write a story it wouldn't have felt like such a lack of i guess the "it" I'm so used to getting from this author. At one point I felt like there was just a lot of " definition", explaining of things and it just took away from the story. I would review this 3.5 stars, as it was better than a 3 star, yet I'm just not comfortable giving it a 4 star rating.. Hard because EVERY book so far in this series has been a 5+ star read for me!!
Yet Poppy and Errol’s whirlwind drive to Alaska was completely different and uniquely their own. If you are a fan of the Goode Girls/Badd Brothers series like me, than this final instalment will be bittersweet. The last one and I am not ready at all…
Poppy and Errol came together by accident but it felt more like fate. Both hurt souls, wrestling with pain that affected them deeply, yet went unacknowledged. They clicked right away with their mutual love of photography and an insta-lust that wouldn’t be denied, it was when they started to like each other that the problems started. Denial only went so far and paved the way for painful conversations, revelations and sharing that would open up so much more…
It was schmexy for sure – the heat is never far from any read in this series – but what struck me, and the characters – was how vulnerability and honesty made the love even more intense… An epilogue which I needed to be more detailed and a whole lot longer ended this full on series in a quiet yet meaningful way. Now I need a moment to let it all sink in - family, emotions, drama, angst, passion - and all the love you could imagine. Before I go back and start at the very beginning again…
The last Goode girl- Poppy- has decided to drop out of her Ivy league school and find herself. To do this, she figures hitchhiking around the country is the way to go. With an artistic eye, an analog camera, and some good boots, she sets off for fun and adventure. Errol is on an adventure himself. After buying a retro- van, he's on a cross-country trip to find the undiscovered America. On a remote road, he spies Poppy. She's a force of nature, and he's enchanted. But there comes a time in their travels when they need to part. Will Errol walk away from the best thing he's ever found? Will Poppy trust her feelings?
I've noticed in these later books in the Badd/Goode series that Wilder tends to confuse some of the descriptions of her characters. She refers to Baxter as being a blonde god, but we all know the Badd brothers all have "grizzly bear brown" hair, except for Xavier, whose hair is almost black. However, after this many books in a series, she can be forgiven a little for getting mixed up.
An artistic scenic route to find herself gave Poppy more than she anticipated. Open road, different people, seeing the country through a lens, and love is what she found. Love coming in a form of a tall, sexy, photographer named Errol. Errol is nothing like Poppy expected, and as they take in the miles they find they have more than what they think in common.
Goode Vibrations is the final stop on this Alaskan ferry and I have to admit it was the hardest goodbye in a series that was near and dear to me. I won't say Poppy and Errol are the final additions to the Badd Clan since it my head and heart they will continue to grow despite coming to fictional conclusion. It's just bittersweet to a reader knowing this has come to an official end.
Thank you to the Wilders for this series and thank you for giving us thirty four amazing characters in seventeen books. This series I highly recommend.
Good Vibrations By Jasinda Wilder Main Characters: Poppy and Errol I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 4 out of 5 stars This was my least favorite book out of the 17 book series. Poppy was only 18 years old and her character was a little too promiscuous for my taste and later in the book she appears to think way more maturely than an 18 or 19-year-old. I loved Errol's character and the writing was great. Guess I'm just a little on the old fashioned side. I am also not a fan of facial hair on guys ever but that in no way detracts from the book, just my personal preference. With 17 books and so many characters, it was hard for me to keep track but Jasinda did a great job of bringing them all to a wonderful conclusion. I wish more authors would take us into the future of their m/c.
The Goode series is 5 books, but Poppy and Errol’s story doesn’t just conclude the Goode girls, but also the Badd brothers, which is twelve books. They’re all great stories and the crossover of characters is a massive draw as their lives are so intertwined, especially the Badd brothers. This story is about Poppy and Errol, and I think Errol is my favourite lead male character from all 17 books. Their story has similarities to the last book, about Torie and Rhys, but is obviously different. I don’t think I have a favourite book from these series, because I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. I would like to know exactly what happened to Darren Goode though, dad to the five girls and Liv’s first husband, why did he give up on everything and everyone and damage his wife and daughters in the mean time???
I am so very sad that this series is over..these characters all feel like family by now. This last book is Poppy's story, the youngest Goode...the youngest daughter who doesn't know yet what to do with her life..so she packs up and heads to Alaska..but enjoying the scenery on the way. That's how she meets Errol. I have to say Errol pulls at my heartstrings way more than Poppy, but that's merely my opinion. I understand why Poppy is way more mature than her age suggests, but I also feel like she doesn't have as much personality as the other sisters..but again, my opinion. I think the last chapter is what made my day. Always love seeing all the Badds and the Goode together and we didn't get as much time with them all in this last story. Can't wait to see what Jasinda comes up with next!
Poppy is the youngest Goode girl. On her adventure across the US to get to Alaska for her sister wedding. Poppy meets all kinds of interesting people. Including a blue eyed sexy New Zealand photographer named Errol. Errol is on a break from his job at National geographic. Always on the road not having a home makes life pretty interesting if not lonely at times. Once Poppy and Errol meet the sparks really fly between them. But soon both of then start to develop feelings they can't describe. So they decided to have no sex until after the wedding. This way they can really get to know one another in a totally different way. Without sex being the only thing in their relationship. I'm truly sorry this is the last book but it was a good one.
good series, it took me forever to find this book here on Goodreads, like it was hidden or something??! so weird. i wonder what is going on?? odd??! sad to see this series come to an end ...but i look forward to more from Jasinda soon enough!! great characters. it was no my fave from the group ...but i did enjoy it. like i said ... i am not ready to see the Badd brothers & Goode sisters go away ... i still recall when i first read the first book in the series ... holy hotness ...what a series. get started soon. won't ya??! so good.
This is the last book in this series and what an amazing end it is. This story follows the characters Poppy and Errol. These characters were really well written. This story has it all family, emotions, drama, angst and passion. The epilogue ended the series in a meaningful way and the perfect ending to this series. These book have been one of my favourites to read. I haven't read all 17 in the series but will definitely be going back and doing.
I was given an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
Wow! Just wow! I can't believe I read the entire series. 17 books... This series, book 1, Badd Motherfu*ker to book 17 Goode Vibrations, has been enthralling, to say the least. Each one was full of angst, mystery, sex and most importantly, lots of love. It comes with 5 amazing stars and lots of recommendations, to read all 17 books in the series. You don't want to miss one. Although you can read these as standalones, they are so much more informative to read them in order.
The Goode and the Badd have come to and end with the youngest Goode sister's story, Poppy. She's the often left to her own devices absorbed in whatever she is creating in her little shed studio. But now she's ready to spread her wings, say goodbye to school and explore the world. Errol needs a break and a low key adventure after all the harrowing places and images he's captured. He didn't expect to find a kindred spirit on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere. Yet they are inexplicably drawn to each other and there is no going back, only moving forward on the journey.
😢😢😢 i did not want this series to end!! Although it finished just as it should have, I love everything about the Badd and Goode world and would happily move to Alaska to experience them! Have given very book in this series a 5 star rating because every swingle one of them was amazing and this last one was no exception! Loved that Errol was a Kiwi (as am I), couple of kiwi slang words weren’t quite right but still loved the story!
Will definitely be doing a reread of this series, all 17 books!!
