I’m Cas... a mother, a wife, and a writer, amongst many other things.
I’m from Birmingham, England but now live in South Derbyshire with my family.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but I first published a book in 2012, and my author journey has been a hell of a rollercoaster since then.
I write because I love to write, but also because I love to read. I adore the way a book can take a reader away from reality for a while, and I want to be in the driving seat... I hope you’ll come along on a journey with me soon.

A beautifully written Christmas novella that will certainly get you in the Christmas spirit. I absolutely loved this book and certainly didn’t want it to end. For a short story the book isn’t rushed and certainly doesn’t lack detail.

I love Ella and Jude. Who wouldn’t want to love a handsome, doctor that makes you fall in love with Christmas all over again. Why would she give him up in the first place??? when the truth is unveiled, it’s heartbreaking!

Another fabulous book by Cassandra P Lewis, I most definitely can’t wait for Christmas!!!

A great Christmas romance. Ella hates Christmas. Too many bad things have happened to her on Christmas Day, even though it's her birthday. She plans to spend it alone but then her Mum phones. She needs to go home after all. Not only that, but her ex is the doctor treating him. He also lives next door to her parents' house, so she can't avoid him. They were brought up together and were an item until she left for London. Will they get back together? A lovely story, just right for reading in comfy chair with a log fire blazing in the hearth.

What a great Christmas story.full of magic with characters that you can relate to and a wonderful storyline. Ella and Jude have a past history and when Ella has to go home because her family needs her she wasn't counting on seeing Jude again after all she was the one who broke his heart even though she has regretted it ever since. Jude is a doctor and loves Christmas but what he didn't expect was to see Ella again and realise that he never stopped loving and wanting her but can be convince Ella to take a second chance on them or is he going to be heart broken again. I definitely recommend you read this book as it is so well written and definitely worth reading.

Fabulous Story & Listen🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

Say Yes to Christmas
By: Cassandra P. Lewis
Narrated by: Poppy Royana
Series: Say Yes, Book 1

I enjoyed this book immensely, it is a holiday romance that will put a smile on your face any time of the year, the story is original and well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Noella Star Frost aka Ella has her reasons for being anti-Christmas, she just wants to hide away until the holiday passes. But a call from her family has her traveling back to her childhood home. She plans on leaving once she knows her dad will be ok, but mother nature makes that impossible after dropping a ton of snow. The worst of her stay is seeing Jude again, he is her one regret in life, Jude was not just the boy next door, he was the love of her life and the one whose heart she broke. Their reunion goes well and they quickly learn the chemistry between them is stronger than ever. Jude is determined to get her to lose her hate for Christmas and presents her with a challenge. This is a fabulous and beautifully plotted second chance romance, the story is charming and heartwarming. Ella’s niece, Poppy, was such a darling and show stealer too. Cassandra P. Lewis, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Poppy Royana is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. She did a great job bringing the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. She had a complete understanding of each character she portrayed and owned each role she played. Her Poppy was the best!! She set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into her performance. Ms. Royana is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen!

Lewis had the Grinch in me reluctantly saying Yes to Christmas!

How did this even happen? Me? Reading Christmas books? Lewis has this wait of baiting me. Then, I’m a goner. Hook, line, and sinker.

Her character were well crafted, which I think is what makes most of her books impossible for me to put down. They’re intricately shaped puzzle pieces that fox together so wonderfully, regardless of the story.

She works the character’s chemistry really well. The friendships and family dynamics are always just lovely to read!

This story will have you saying yes and rooting for Nell/Ella and Jude, the gorgeous boy (man, hubba hubba) next door!

As a pick-me-up before Christmas this is a lovely little story, especially after the ups and downs of 2020. It’s quirky, it’s light hearted....and lets admit it, it’s about love. Whether you are a bah humbug type of person as regards Christmas or a person who delights in all the joys of Christmas, it’s about family and love, and love awakened. Enjoy!

Heartwarming

I’m not a romance reader but this is a really sweet story. Noelle hates Christmas and is determined to spend it alone , but her past creeps up on her and puts a fork in the road. This story felt like a friend talking to me, it was comfortable, fun and had a little touch of spice A really enjoyable read that I devoured in 2 sittings

Have I read a Christmas themed book in February. Yes. Yes I have! And I have loved it!

This is such a heart warming read and gave me all the fuzzy feels on this cold day in the north of England! I love Cas's writing style it completely draws you in. Another one of her books, Sticking To The Terms, was a firm favourite of 2021 for me and this book didn't disappoint either.

Ella broke Jude's heart 11 years ago when she broke off their relationship. They have avoided each other for all of that time and now Ella is back in town.....

This is such a sweet read and I was completely rooting for them both from the beginning. They are both such likeable characters. As well as giving you all the warm fuzzies it has plenty of humour in it. I would love at some point to be able to catch up with them!

Say Yes to Christmas was such a great book! I loved the story. I connected with Noella and Jude easily. I loved her family and the dynamic between them. I especially adored the sweetness between Noella and her niece Poppy. Jude.....exactly the type of guy I like. Solid, sweet, he's a doctor, has a great smirk. There is just enough Christmas in this book for it to feel festive. I laughed out loud in the funny moments and got teary in others. It's also a second chance love story which is one of my favorites to read. Highly Recommend!

Terrific Read

I fell in love with Jude and Noel. How she can go from not liking a holiday to saying her peace and finally letting go. I went through an emotional rollercoaster in this book. It was terrific; I didn’t want it to end. I fell in love with all of the characters.

I really enjoyed this book. The love they had for each other never completely fading, them finding their way back together, so heartwarming and romantic. The real life issues and the tough decision she made all those years ago to help ease his fathers worries on his death bed that pulled at my heart strings. It was a truly lovely love story.

i was really loving this until the OW came into the picture, and even though it wasn't actual drama, the explanation was so abrupt and felt like it was swept under the rug...that's when it all just basically went downhill for me. and also, i didn't see it as a HEA but rather a HFN because of the long distance relationship

What a gem ... a beautifully written Christmas feel good story from Cassandra P. Lewis.

I loved this from the first page. Noella Star hates Christmas and is determined to 'Screw Christmas' this year but when an urgent call comes in about her dad she rushes straight home to her family.

I don't want to give much away but this is a confidently predictable read that engages, delights, makes you laugh and cry. I loved the entire Frost family and Dr Jude ... well he was written perfectly for me to imagine ;) I loved that the gorgeous guy next door was also an amazing person and great with everyone, his sole purpose on seeing Nell again was to reignite her love for Christmas and perhaps her love for something else ....

A quick read, I didn't put this down and read through the night. I loved every page and would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a hug in a book to bring about the delights of Christmas and to remind us what it's all about.

Thank you Cassandra P. Lewis, I will definitely be looking out for more of your work! An easy 5 stars and warm happy feelings from me :)

Say Yes to Christmas by Cassandra P. Lewis
I loved this heartwarming Christmas romance which I could not put the book down once I had started reading it and it definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. Main character, the likeable and relatable Ella Frost, really hates Christmas as if anything bad is going to happen it’s going to happen at Christmas. So she decides that she is not going to celebrate the festive holiday anymore but she is forced to give up this idea when her family suddenly need her and she has to return home. To make her life more complicated Ella’s first love, Jude is also back in town for the holiday season and suddenly her biggest regret is literally right in front of her, as Ella broke Jude’s heart years ago. However, Jude manages to convince Ella to “say yes to Christmas”, and then she realises that Christmas is not the only thing she wants to say yes to. This is a wonderfully written second chance at romance story with a real festive feel to it. I was really cheering Ella and Jude on hoping they would get their happy ever after. This is an enjoyable and engaging story with a real feel good factor.

Ella (Noella Star Frost) hates Christmas. She was born on Christmas, and bad things always seem to happen on Christmas. This year, she's going to celebrate Operation Screw Christmas - eat junk food, drink wine, wear pajamas, and watch chick flicks on TV. But her plans are derailed by her father's heart problems, a snowstorm, and her old love. She and Jude were best friends from age 4. He's a doctor now, living next door to her parents in the home that he purchased from his mother. He was her first love, her first everything, until she broke his heart. Now he wants a second chance - to make her fall in love with Christmas all over again. Ella has a sweet relationship with her niece, and a fun and teasing one with her brother-in-law. Jude is swoon-worthy - a noble profession, a great son (even if his mother isn't always lucid enough to know), a good neighbor. This is a wonderful feel-good story to get you in the Christmas spirit.

What a lovely Christmas story. This has definitely got me into the Christmas spirit this year!
Noella Star (Ella) is a Christmas baby who hates Christmas so this year she decides to stay in London and hide in her flat away from the Christmas scenes.
She then gets a phone call that her dad is in hospital so immediately drives home to the little village she grew up in to stay in her childhood home with her parents sister brother in law and little niece.
She was not prepared for the doctor who treated her dad to be the same guy she was in love with all those years ago who has moved back into his childhood home and is now next door to her parents.
Jude is sexy as hell and wants to make Ella fall in love with Christmas again so he sets her a challenge to just say yes.
Once Ella starts spending time with Jude it’s like she is complete again and finds herself enjoying the season, but knowing she has to go back to London after the holidays she needs to work out what she really wants in life.
A beautiful easy read which brought a smile to my face many times throughout.

This was the perfect feel-good read for me right now, loved every word of it!

Ella Frost is a girl who is quite happy living in London and pretending that Christmas isn't happening. It is all too much: family time, all that tinsel and presents, and of course, Jude, the hunky next door neighbour who was Ella's first love and whom she has been avoiding for a long, long time.

Unfortunately, life doesn't always work out the way that we planned it and Ella finds herself at home just before Christmas, which is not what she wanted at all.

Such a sweet story, you will love all of the characters in this book, from Jude and Ella, to her parents and even her cranky sister! Her niece sounds like a delight and I like her brother-in-law's character too, he reminds me a bit of my own son-in-law, actually!

5 stars from me.

Say Yes To Christmas by Cassandra P Lewis
Ella hates Christmas and plans to spend it alone, but then her Mum phones and tells her that her father is in the hospital she returns home. What she doesn't know is that Jude her ex is the doctor treating him.
A wonderfully written Christmas story, full of love, emotion and characters that you will easily relate to, everything you'd expect from a Christmas Romance penned by this talented storyteller.
A highly recommended read which made me smile many times.

Beautiful second chance romance with Ella and Jude. She thinks bad things happen to you during this holiday season and therefore does not want to celebrate but her family wants her to come back home where she runs into her first and only love Jude whose heart she broke and regretted ever since. Jude loves the holiday and when he sees Ella again realizes that he may have a second chance with the girl he never forgot.

Ella is not a fan of the holiday but having to confront it by being at home where she can't avoid while spending time with her family is just a start. Jude becomes the real gift to her, the reunion with him revives the holiday spirit and they find their way back to one another. Neat holiday story with lots of feels.

This was such a great book. I really enjoyed it very much. When Ella's family needed her, she had to change a lot of things. Including her hate for Christmas. Jude was her first love and she never thought she would encounter him again. Will they work out everything including her hate for Christmas or will she stay scrooge?
