佘有进的风云际会
1823年，一名勇敢又精明的年轻人从中国漂洋过海来到了新加坡。这一年他十八岁。他要在这里建功立业。他竭智尽力，舍己为人，最终取得了成功，成为了商界与社区的一位重要领袖。他的付出无人不知，无人不晓。即使在他过世以后，他对社会做出的许多贡献也依然让人铭记于心。

Shawn Seah

He wrote several other non-fiction books for the general public, including Seah Eu Chin: His Life & Times; Leader and Legislator: Seah Liang Seah; and My Father’s Kampung: A History of Aukang and Punggol, which was a finalist for the Best Non-Fiction Title at the Singapore Book Awards 2021.
A published author and an engaging public speaker, Shawn has narrated memorable historical stories at various events, including the Singapore Heritage Festival, the Baba Nyonya Literary Festival, and the Singapore Writers Festival. He also tells engaging stories at museums and libraries.
For his efforts in historical storytelling, Shawn was conferred the Outstanding Young Alumni Award by the National University of Singapore in 2023.
He holds a Master's degree in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, with a minor in History, from the National University of Singapore. He is also a trained teacher and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, from the National Institute of Education.
Shawn works by day, writes by night, and speaks publicly about family history on weekends.
