Oh my god, where to begin? It was even hotter, sexier, more magical and more jam-packed than the first one! Cilla Raven has done it again, bringing Becks and her boys back for round two. I found that Becks really grew into herself as a character in this book, even more so than the first one. She's put her past behind her in every way she possibly can, and her outlook on life is uplifting, passionate and more confident than she was before. It's so inspiring to see in a character. You see a lot of personal growth in the boys too throughout the book, and its brilliant how well they're merging as a team.
This book gave me everything I wanted, and more. It brought the steamy, it brought the sexy, it brought the backstories and it brought the detail. And yet I still want more! I just cannot get enough of this series and I cannot get enough of these smokin' hot boys. Book three can't come soon enough! If only I had Brax to keep me company while I wait... Beware of those ghastly cliffhangers, this one will leave you absolutely reeling and tempted to scream into a pillow.

This book starts where the first finished off, and I wasn’t disappointed at all!
Throughout the book, Becks is more sure and more confident in herself, has an overall better outlook on life. There’s a bunch of growth that we see, a lot of it does deal with her powers that she’s learning more about. Her team helps with her growth and confidence. We also see a good amount of POV from the guys, so we see their feelings and thoughts about Becks and each other, as well as understanding them better.
It was awesome seeing Becks meet team Essence, her parents team, and getting to chat with them for a little and hearing more about her mom, everything that happened leading to their deaths. We even learn something really interesting during this meeting!!
I did have a feeling that a certain someone was going to come into the equation, but certainly not like that! What a wonderful cliffhanger!

Reign continues directly almost where initate left off and is just as amazing if not more so becks and her guys connection keeps on getting stronger and becks learns more about her self and whos she meant to be and the role she meant for we also learn more about her family and meet her moms other mates ahhh i loved it all from start to finish minus that ending in which i may have wanted to kill cilla abit for the abrupt cliffhanger ( i know they have a purpose though i still would like to see them eridicated one day lol ) regardless this book has plenty of action and things also do get steamy with her and her guys and brax also is awesome as ever and we even learn more abinsthe ( i may have butchered the spelling of his name my apologies for that ) cilla you done amazing work keep it up!!

I am enjoying Becks' story and eventually I want to read the last book, I already have it in my collection. I liked the emphasis on vampires in this one and the idea that they are just creatures and not 'evil' like many fandoms like to push. I enjoyed several aspects of this series and like that it isn't "oversexed" as many Indie authors like to do nowadays. The romance is tasteful but sexy. It's not so much about raunchiness as it is about connection and I really gravitate towards that. Sex is really just an experience it seems in many Indie books, but in Cilla's world, it is about commitment and loyalty. I also loved Absinthe's character there at the end--right up my alley with that anti-hero naughtiness!

What a shame
DNF I'm disappointed with book 2 it seems the author decided to rewrite book 1. Every single thing is repeated again and again even my skipping didn't solve the problem. The POV's bring nothing new to the table, this book is definitely a filler.
For some reason the author kept writing heroin to be annoying, she's angry ever 5 seconds then all of a sudden hysterically laughing. I would have expected this from book 1 at least then it would have made sense. What made me give up was her possibly being the Queen, she hasn't done anything remarkable, yet her breathing is now super amazing to her MMC's

This is the second story in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. We learn a little more about each of the main characters and Brax. The connection the guys have with Becks and each other keeps getting stronger and stronger. The worldbuilding with this book went more into depth. The character development is getting stronger as well. I just keep getting more invested in this world. For this to be the first series this author has written is huge! Cilla definitely has talent and I look forward to reading more from her and finishing this series.

I really loved this second book. You got to dig into the why's and how's of the story. The relationship between the female main character and the men in her team starts to develop. Some theories on why someone had tried to kill the FMC come up. Cilla Raven does a good job creating other worlds and has logical explanations for the different abilities you encounter through her characters. The cliffhanger is killer though! I can't wait for the next book!

I LOVED this book. OMG, once I started reading I could not put it down. It moves along at an amazing pace making for a nice enjoyable read. You cannot help but fall in love with these characters, no matter what. You want to be there to help them overcome everything that may get in there way. The story will grab you as soon as you start reading and then as soon as you finish you want more. This book is a must read and I cannot wait to read more from this amazing author.

Oh my goodness this book! I absolutely loved it. It picks up where the last left off and so many things are revealed and twists and turns keep the story interesting and engaging. I love Brax! He and his different phrases make me giggle each time I see them. This book has action, major plot twists, and a steamy scene to make things melt. I love the relationships between the characters. Each one has changed and grown from the first book and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I couldn't put this down once I started reading. It has twists and turns, an incubus lair where some steam happens and a cliffhanger to leave you stunned. Becks grows so much in this book with her powers and relationships with the guys. We also learn about Brax's past a bit and a few surprises that lead to some more questions. I for one and looking forward to the next book to learn more about Absinthe and the guantlet.

I thought the book was a bit difficult to get into compared to the first one but once I did I breezed through it. The author has a way of ending books that makes me say "well f*ck if that isn't intriguing, I need to know what happens next!"
I feel like the characters could use some more relationship building between themselves and Becks. I love all of the action but they haven't been able to get to know eachother much.

This second book flowed perfectly from the first. There was wonderful relationship development between Becks and her men and they all developed on an individual basis as well. This book really had everything: drama, so many feels, adventure, plot twists, sexy times! and a very illegal cliff hanger (killing me author!)! I am really looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend this series! Stop reading this review and get the book!

Reign picks up where book 1 left off. I love that we get to find out more about Becks and also get to learn more about Brax and his history. There are twists and turns, Becks relationships continue to develop. I’m excited to see where the new bond at the end will fit in :) The ending definitely leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens with the gauntlet :) Hoping Book 3 is out soon :)

The plot thickens with Binaria's traitors acting more and more and we finally have a name and a face for one of them. I loves this book and can't wait to the final parte of this series! And I really want Absinthe for myself *pouts*.

This series just keeps getting better on every level. The world building just keeps getting more complex and extensive. The character development just keeps deepening and becoming more engaging. The plot is so twisty and you never know exactly what’s coming next. A lot of things came together in this book that have set up the third book to be a mind blower. But of course it ends on a cliffhanger of epic proportions.

A little slow to start but it made up for it at the end. Left on a cliffhanger which isn't to everyone's taste. I did figure out who was the traitor but it didn't spoil my enjoyment. Lots of different pieces being put into place. I'm hoping Adam will be explained in book 3 because I really don't like him, in fact he's the reason for the .5 missing

This is the second story in Beck's tale. This story sees Beck's growing in so many ways with her men right beside her. Secrets are revealed and relationships are created or strengthened. Cilla does an amazing job at building a world that encompasses so many different supernatural areas. I love this story and can't wait to see where the future takes Becks and the guys.

Oh my gosh! That ending has me upset. I need the next one right now. There are so many things happening at once. I am so shocked at some of it. I absolutely love this series. I don’t normally like a slow burn but this story is so good it doesn’t even matter. There were some huge questions answered in this book but those answers have added so much drama. Give me more!

This is the second installment and great follow up to the series. They just keep getting better and better. I don't if I would have made it had it not been for my ARC I get to read the next installment arite away great books.

Great second instalment! The characters are building up really well and the storyline completely draws you in! Love how much this story comes from different POV so you really get to connect with all the main players! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

This is going to be a good series. I can't wait for the next book. I am excited to see what happens to Becks as she enters the gauntlet and receive more powers. Will she make it and become who she was meant to be or will she crash and burn?

This book is amazing, it captures your interest from the start and keeps it the entire book! The characters develop amazingly and it seems like you really get to know each one! The ending is amazing and was definitely a turn of events! I can not wait until book 3 comes out!

Monster! I... you can’t leave a book like that... like it should be illegal! This book was everything I’d been hoping for in a sequel. I admit I found it a little hard to get going in the book but I think that was due to all of the emotions being expressed... I’m not the mushy type. However once I got over that it was utterly fantastic. The drama picked up, the adventure began in tenfold and the men! Ugh the men! (Fans myself) this book ends on a cliff hanger! Be prepared! Over all there was significant character growth and lots of plot pulling together while also building for another book! Well worth the read!

Reign has really kicked up the story line from Initiate.
The characters all show growth, the plot gets even more intriguing, and the world building is fantastic.

Absolutely impossible to put down!! Great from the start! Ummm.... It DOES have a cliffhanger at the end. Just fyi!! I swear this was better than the 1st book. I don't know how. Fast paced and full of every emotion you can think of!! Love love love! So cannot wait for #3, though!!

Second book in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one as much as I did the first one. Really excited for the next one as I'm dying to know what's coming and how the guys are going to handle it all aswell lol will definitely recommend for people to read

This series is just getting better and better. I really enjoyed the first book but this one blows it out of the water. I adore Brax's character and Phillipa was a lovely surprise! Dying to see how Absinthe fits in with the group. The cliffhanger just about killed me, I cant wait for the next book.
