This was an excellent read! I really enjoyed the characters and cannot wait to learn more about them in the next books. Let's just say that I'm glad I don't have to wait for book 2 in the series.
The world that Cameron builds is fascinating and definitely had me wanting to learn more. Taking place in the more or less 'real' world though a distant future helped me to not only relate to it to some degree, but also see our own world in a new light.
The magic system is very intriguing and I can't wait to learn more about it as well. So many loose ends were left but they all felt intentional, definitely making me excited for the next in the series.
Long story short, you should read this book. Well worth the cost and the time to read it.

Well written. Great characters. It has a hunger games feel to me. Looking forward to more books from this author.

I really enjoyed this book. Great character development and plot line. It would be great for lovers of Harry Potter - magic and adventure awaits.
