This novella delivers exactly what it promises, so based on that criteria its clearly 5-stars. Its short, incredibly dumb, and essentially just smut. The writing was fun and funny, the characters were barely 2-dimensional, and the content is problematic. As expected. Its spicy though! I don’t think there is anything else to really say about this one.

Kate has built an AI house and now a new remote toy that Sam the AI can take control of. Let the fun being 😉. When Kate’s crush from next door comes over things get even more heated and Kate has no choice but to submit and she loves it. This is a fun read.

As if that wasn’t enough, Kate’s very naughty neighbor Maddie wants in on the action.
I’d describe this story as erotic slapstick comedy. It’s beautifully ridiculous and provides escape, smiles, and piles of SMOKING HOT erotic content.

First, my thanks to the author for providing a free review copy of the audiobook. I’m sharing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest and unbiased opinion.
I’ve read a few short stories by Riley Rose and enjoyed them, so I was happy to dive into another. Being offered the audiobook edition was a real bonus — it’s my preferred format and saves me relying on text‑to‑speech apps.
I expected a lively, high‑energy story, and it certainly delivered on that front. What surprised me was how often I found myself laughing. The back‑and‑forth between Kate and her sharp‑witted, mischievous AI companion, Sam, is genuinely entertaining, and when Maddie joins the mix, the trio’s dynamic becomes even more fun. The humour and character interplay are the real highlights here.
The narration elevates the whole experience. Nikki Monroe gives a vibrant, committed performance and sounds like she’s having a great time with the material. It adds an extra layer of enjoyment and brings the characters to life in a memorable way.
Highly recommended for listeners who enjoy bold, playful stories with plenty of humour. I’d give it six stars if I could.
