Char Webster weaves suspense, mystery, romance and humor into all of her books. She strives to make the paranormal world fit perfectly into real life, where anything seems to be possible.

Reading and getting lost in a story have always been Char Webster's favorite things to do. She has also had a love for writing, which led her to her daytime career in public relations and marketing. After years of writing for others, Char decided to write something for herself.

The Gifted Series fulfills a lifelong dream of creating a world where people can escape reality for a little while. Char Webster loves living in South Jersey because she feels like it is in the center of everything. She love pizza, hot sauce, french fries, dancing, photography and trying new things.

Kate and the kids continue, by trial and error, to learn how to harness their powers. While the people after Kate will stop at nothing to get her, Nick and the boys are always there to save the day. I'm still enjoying this story but feel like its a little drug out. Hoping in book 4 we find out how Kate is the key to unlocking ancient powers and that she unleashes hers to stop the forces of evil plaguing them.

Kate's power & Maddy's interact

Alex gets in trouble twice. Once for starting a fire at a dance. And the second is for being dumb enough to go.meet someone she met online. Everyone knows that is dangerous. I forgot why Zack got grounded. The neighbor kids discover their powers when Zack saves Eric's.life. Of course, Emily saw it too so they had to tell them both. Robert finds his mystery girl after she climbs into his bedroom window. He learns her name & that her grandfather will kill her mom if she doesn't go back home. Don from the Association tries to get revenge by calling the European Chancellor. Don then calls in more agents to help arrest Kate & Nick. They are even given orders that say they can shoot to kill Nick. Then they beat Nick really bad. Robert knows they will need more people to pull off this rescue mission. So they go to Kate's uncle. While they are watching what happens on the cameras they hacked into the kids are making their own plans. They get Roberts brother to help get Nick & Kate out. Problem is they have no idea how many agents are there. And there are well over 25.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a classic story of good vs evil...only with a few individuals with abilities tossed in for good measure. This book was a bit of an adventure...the will to survive is strong with the Gifted clan. This book is also YA friendly.

I loved this continuation of the series...and I look forward to reading future editions of this series. This book/series is recommended to anyone that enjoys fiction based in a real world setting...but with a twist of magic and fantasy along the way. I was able to get my hands on a copy of this book for free and wanted to share my opinion of it here.

This was such a suspense filled and exciting addition to The Gifted Series. We don't just have Nick and Kate, with the rest of the gang, fighting for their lives and their cause, but Alex and Zach search for their place among the Gifted. Along with return characters and some new and some dangerous ones, the adventure keeps you guessing and takes turns you never would have expected. It's as unpredictable as it is extraordinary. This one answers questions we've all been waiting for and leaves us with questions that make us yearn for the next installment. Brilliant work, Ms Webster.

This book will keep you on your toes. While some long awaited answers are gained, new questions will leave you wanting more. I love the author's character building, especially Robert. Each character has a unique personality that the author uses to pull you into the story. The descriptions are rich and exciting. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys YA Paranormal Romance. I can not wait for the next installment to the series. I'm sure there are plenty of surprises awaiting this series.

Great book and series

Kate and Nick along with all their friends continue their journey to be free of the evil that wants to control them for their powers. There are many twists and turns in this book and it continues to keep you guessing how it will turn. Many surprises are in-store for the reader. Char Webster does an awesome job showing what it means to be gifted with all the love and turmoil that is in the story. Great read one you don't want to miss.

Finally the third book in the series about a Gifted Race of People. This story gets better and better. Good vs. Evil several story lines going at the same time.. Kept me guessing what would happen next. I really love this series can't wait for the next book. Hurry up Char. When you start reading series you will see what I mean it has everything . Something for all ages a truly great read. Mixes in some South Jersey local sites and festivals. Friendship, love intrigue and life in general.

Didn't want the book to end was so disappointed I was finished. Loved it, but still have so many questions....Jason & Grace, what happens with the detective...want to see what happens as the kids get older, do Nick and Kate get married.....and Robert....Please write quickly the next book I don't want the series to end.

I love this series. It makes the supernatural seem normal. However this book wasn't one of my favorites. Nothing really happened until the last third of the book which made it hard to get into. However the ending is non stop action. The first two thirds just seemed like fighting and arguing with the group.

I love this series. This book was just as action-packed as the first two in the series. I love seeing Joe the characters continue to develop their Gifts throughout this series, and the unpredictability of the plot. Overall, an enjoyable series.

I couldn't put this one down. I can't believe how much happened in this book not only to Kate but to the entire group. I'm excited to see how the Santos family ties into everything as well as Teresa with her sneaky ways. Please put the next book out soon!!!!

And I trust people even less... but I do trust Maddy and Jen's granny though the other people eehhhh not so much. The chancellor from Europe is shady as hell, the Santos family is the same and Peter was a weak man. Don and Brook are so greedy they're going to get ripped a new one soon.

This is the third installment in the Gifted Series. In this book we get to see what it's like being born with a special gift. This book is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat during the whole book. I loved seeing Kate and Nick grow as a couple. I also enjoyed the possibility of other couples forming. Char did an amazing job with this book and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Well Char Webster did it again, delivering us another great book. Im so glad that the chancellor got what he deserved, pity Don didn't die and Brooks is still alive but that ending with the european chancellor like dude you're making sure he follows every rule?
