Santa Claus is coming to town, but this year he's bringing a fat sack of justice with him.
After redefining the meaning of Santa Claus, a lot has changed for former Army Ranger Nick Campos in the last year. And now that he and his team are the CIA's go-to crew for cleaning up the world's problems, he can't take this Christmas season off. Nor would he want to.
The national media has been covering the rise of human trafficking ad nauseum, yet no significant improvements in the situation have been made. Nick plans on changing that, because he figures there is no more fitting a role for Santa than to help the children. While he delivers freedom for all the unfortunate boys and girls, he's got something a little stronger in mind than coal for the perpetrators' stockings.
However, as with any rise in legend, the enemy looks with a watchful eye. And there is one villain in particular who has learned how to evade Nick's All Seeing Eye.
Can Nick deliver justice again this holiday season? Or will this ruthless enemy spoil Christmas for families all across the globe?

This is the second book in the series and while this stands on its own - book 1 gives some background and introduces the characters. You’ll want to read them in order.
Such a fun read again. While Wright tackled a pretty serious topic this time (human trafficking), he managed to be respectful of the gravity without being overly descriptive. This allowed room for Nick’s humorous banter with Brooke & Allen to feel appropriate. Lots of action, adventure, & thriller moments all wrapped up in an unconventional sleigh pulled by Santa’s reindeer.
He’s Baaaack – And Saint Nick has a brand spanking new cherry red Humvee sleigh, now living at the North Pole and has a new wife, too. I knew he developed a major crush on Brooke Abigail Sanders, FBI Agent, in Saint Nick 1. There have been a lot of changes in covert agent Nick Campos’s life over the past year. He and his team are now the CIA's go-to crew battling troubles around the globe. And yes, Nick is still in the business of dispensing justice at a fast and furious pace. Bad guys don’t stop doing bad things just because it’s a holiday – even during the most wonderful time of the year – and Nick won’t stop pursuing them until justice is served.
In a rather far-fetched fantasy world, the chills, spills and thrills continue. Zeke, an elf and computer genius, is still perfecting the ASE (All Seeing Eye) in Santa’s workshop that allows Saint Nick to know if you’ve been naughty or nice -- good or bad -- at any time, day or night. With the help of Jack, the gruff elf-in-charge of keeping everything running smoothly and keeping Saint Nick’s concentration on the mission, the team and the ASE are zeroed-in on uncovering and dismantling a human trafficking ring working out of Atlanta, Georgia, to help restore the lives of their victims and bringing the traffickers to justice. They are the worst of humanity – profiting off the forced labor and commercial sex of their victims. These victims are men, women and children of all ages.
Nick is a fascinating and unique character. And he never wanted to be Santa Claus or wear that dang Iron Man Santa Suit! His personality is more “Grinch-style” than Jolly Old St. Nicholas. He’s rough around the edges, tough as nails, witty and sarcastic – sometimes overly blunt, crude and rude, but underneath it all there’s a heart of gold -- and a man truly dedicated to making the world a better place.
Last year’s book introduced Nick, an Army Ranger as the “new and updated” version of Santa Claus when he inherited the job after the “real” Santa suffered a heart attack and died suddenly. It was by far my favorite holiday read of 2019. This second installment in this unconventional holiday series is every bit as good, maybe even better than the first, and will most likely end up being my favorite in 2020!
My only nitpick is that Saint Nick's editing is far from perfect. There are lots of sloppy glitches here and there throughout, but I’ll give him a pass. It’s Christmas and he’s been out saving children from the cruel and evil among us – and that’s far more important than my nitpicking. Perhaps next year he can get one of the elves to take a final peek before publishing. I'm loving Bradley Wright's books -- but especially the Saint Nick series. I sure hope he'll gift us another installment in 2021.
And because he’s been so good to me this year, I was thinking of leaving a stogie and a bottle of bourbon beneath my tree this year, hoping Saint Nick will soon be there. I sure wish I could afford his favorites, a Cuban Cohiba Robusto cigar and Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky bourbon – but Geez Louise, St. Nick has expensive tastes and way out of my price range!
Suspend reason and just sit back and enjoy a really fun read. This is the second book in the series and I would seriously suggest that you read them in order or you won’t understand how this combat veteran got to be Santa Claus with all of Santa’s Magic. He also does much more than deliver presents to good little boys and girls. He also delivers serious whoop ass to bad adults!
I chose this rating because this is truly an awesome read. I first talked to Bradley when he was basically just getting started. I predicted he would have an amazing run as an author. It is nice to see I was right. I've read every book he has written, and I really believe anyone who enjoys a good read will enjoy them all. I wait for his new books to be published like a kid in a candy shop, and I have not been disappointed. He meets all my expectations, his books are non-stop action, and always have a good storyline. I rank him right up there with Ty Patterson, C.G. Cooper, Vince Flynn, and Kristi Bellacamino. Thank you for another good one.
This book was full of action. This is about former ranger Nick Campos. He redefines the meaning of Santa Claus by changing the barn and turning Santa’s sleigh 🛷 into a humvee.
In the past year for Nick a lot has changed. He gets married. He and his crew are the go to for the CIA. They clean up the world’s problems. Nick hears on the news about the rise of human trafficking in Georgia. Nick plans on changing that. As the new Santa Claus he has to help the children. Nick and his crew once again delivers justice in their own particular way.
This book should be turned into a movie with all of the action it has. I enjoyed reading this book.
Did Nick shoot the proofreader? The story was fun, explosive, cool, and true to this modern day Santa, but the errors were so glaring I had to drop a star off the rating. I'm pretty sure Mr. Wright uses voice-rec software, because I do, and I've seen some of the same errors in my own first drafts: "wear, where, were, we're," "your, you're," etc. It's a good story, but hopefully in "St. Nick 3 ," Nick and Allen will let the proofreader live. Merry Christmas!
So many spelling errors. The alleged teem that are supposed to be checking for these type of errors have a severe case of cranial rectumidies. (Head up their asses sickness). Free advice is worth only what you pay.
Yes it's a daft premise, but it's fun and entertaining And not sure you'd need much more This time it's child abductors and ex-FBI agents, with the mastermind having some sort of comic book delusion Put your brain in neutral and give it a go, you'll enjoy it
