Alison:(Girls in the City, #1) - a review by Rosemary Kenny
Alison Saint certainly has an eventful life; from qualifying as a resident and dumping her 'friend with occasional benefits', Eddie, to being fairly certain she wants to transition to male, to finding true love, almost immediately she started her surgical residency, with fellowship-seeking Dr.Rich Morrison, to health issues and the path to pregnancy being anything but straightforward. Queen of Romantic Suspense Suzanne Jenkins know exactly how to subtly and expertly engage the readers' emotions until you can't bear to put Alison:(Girls in the City #1) down for a minute, (well I certainly couldn't!), it's that riveting, with its wonderful characters and such a believable storyline of a modern romance with a twist and an ending that will alternately have you reaching for the tissue-box, then almost laughing out loud with relief, when Alison and Rich get the best HEA you could possibly imagine. Grab your copy as soon as possible, as Suzanne has many many fine books waiting in the wings...you'll never have to worry about having a great book to read ever again, as you're sure to be entranced...more please, Ms Jenkins!
