The Wandering Inn is arguably my favorite series of all time. This however didn’t quite work for me - choppy transitions, choppy dialogue segments, not a lot of movement from page to page. Some panels are very dark and hard to see. This is not a criticism of Pirateaba - their writing came through very strong. I just think all the pieces didn’t quite glue together.

As the first installment of Pirateaba's world in graphic novel form, specially if you already love their universe, it's fascinating. I hope to see more and more books coming in the future.

An interesting corner of the Innverse - digging the edge of the world and the mystery of the creatures coming up from the void. That being said, the transitions between panels was a bit clunky and the animation style wasn't my cup of tea. Quick read and overall enjoyable. Will read the next book when it drops.

I liked it! It's a short, sit-down read, the art is pretty stunning (and a really cool way to bring Pirateaba's story to life), but as a result of the brevity, it's a very short glimpse. I think I will love part two, because this set up the groundwork well, and I'm ready to dive into a meatier story at the end of the world.

Good way to start 2021!

A short graphic novel set in the world of The Wandering Inn, it features a new character in a completely different location from all the other stories. A Filipino girl is magicked away from our world to a desolate island at the very edge of the world.

This is a fun start to a new story ARC in the Wandering Inn universe! With a totally new character a Filipino Girl Solca Vis whose now trapped on an island, just like Erin Solstice, and Ryoka Griffin on the continent! I always felt that pirateaba work cried out for a graphic format, and I was right visually, The Last Tide is stunning!
I also loved the overall and appearance in general and wanted to compliment the publisher Cloudscape for the book! I know in part this was due to the kickstarter's success as each stretch goal was met! But seriously I loved the graphic novel and then the inclusion of pirateaba actual prose, the short story... So in the book we get both the story and the adaptation! Simply Marvelous!!!

I love Pirateaba's writing they know how to craft characters and for me that's the most important part of a good fantasy story, the other ingredient necessary for me is and interesting world and the Innverse has that in spades. I can't wait for volume two of the graphic novel to see where the story goes from here.

This was a solid side story which added a bit of visual flair to the work of one of my favorite authors. I think it could also work as a gentle introduction to the world of "The Wandering Inn", but I think it is a slow enough start that it might not hook a reader into picking up the main work, which is at the moment just a hair under 12 million words long.

I was having Wandering Inn withdrawals when I remembered that this existed. It's not quite the same as reading about Erin and company, but it is a new way to experience the world of the Wandering Inn and I'm glad I gave it a try.

Great side story from The Wandering Inn World. I loved the artwork and the story was a good set up for the characters and this part of the world. I’m hoping there will be more to come from this story as it finished on a cliffhanger

Very fun read, beautiful art and a glimpse at a new part of this world while still it feels very connected to the rest of the world that was built previously!
