Close your eyes and imagine for a second that there is a being who has been alive since the beginning of time. They've witnessed the creation of the universe. They've seen countless legends come and go. They've observed the creation and destruction of communities, species... entire planets. They've even caused the rise and death of literal gods. Such an existence would be scary, yes? Terrifying, even. Now open your eyes, because you don't need to imagine it. That person is real, and his name is Fang Huo. Enjoy this great Xianxia Cultivation novel. Myriad Stars is an universe filled with cultivators and a great deal of LitRPG/GameLit stuff.

First time I read this I loved it. Thought the idea was hilarious. Cultivator lives forever and attains ultimate knowledge through accumulated experience but can never use any of it himself. Since he will just reincarnate right away every time he dies he essential has no consequences which makes him develop really funny habits. Things change slightly and a new dynamic is added. Tons of fun.

I decided to read it a second time to get ready for book 2. Not as awesome as I remembered. To put things in perspective I have read other, and in my opinion better “system” books since then (Library of Heavens path, black tech Internet cafe, astral pet store, Hail the king, etc.). Don’t get me wrong it is fun, just nothing amazing.

Due to how short the book is nothing gets the time it needs to be as awesome as it has the potential for.

Good book

I loved the book all I wanted was for the mc to progress faster, I mean he had all of the knowledge and helped everyone else but basically he improved his potential so his growth was slow, but I'll definitely find the next book.
