As Ava’ story continues a new threat emerges when an unknown man sets fire to Darkhaven destroying Ava’s childhood home and in the process, her entire old coven who was taking shelter in the basement. Dealing with that loss, Ava tries to come to terms with her feelings because even though these were once her family and friends, they betrayed her and tried to kill her and her new best mates. They turned their backs on her and treated her as if she were dead to them. No they’re gone and she is truly alone except for her best mates. The vampires, too, have suffered a severe loss and are trying to recover when along comes a new witch into the mix. Can she be trusted? Is she working with the new band of rogue vampires that have come to destroy Darkhaven? So many questions and you just have to read to find out!! Onto book 7! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Originally this was only going to be a 5 book series but MUCH to not just mine by all other readers of dark haven saga it was increased to 10 and this first book in the 2nd does not disappoint!!! It hooks you in from the beginning espeically after the last cliff hanger! Yet an other AMAZING read by Danielle rose and im still sitting on the edge of my seat because of the ending going what is going to happen next?!?! There's always amazing twists and turns in this series so grab theses 6 books and read them before number 7 and yes Read them in order

OMG! This book is crazy good! I couldn't put it down until I finished it all the way to the end..... And lets just say I didn't see that twist coming at the end...... I can't wait to read the next book in this series ....

A month has passed since so much has changed for Ava. Not only has she had to take away her witch families powers but she also lost two important vampires. Will and Amicia are gone but not forgotten. Ava feels like the remaining vampires blame her as she does. Ava is having dreams that she isn’t telling anyone about until she sees a crow while out at Will’s headstone. It is only because if this she tells Holland and the rest what she has been dealing with. One night she takes off and encounters a rogue vampire and is luck that Jasik came looking for her. Now they must deal with this vampire while trying to keep the nest safe. Ava still feels a pull towards her family home and it is made worse when she realizes a fire is at her home and she worries about her mom even after everything that has happened.
There is so much that happens in this story that I can’t wait to see what happens next with Ava, Jasik, and the rest of the vampires as some new things come up and bring new challenges to them.

In this sixth book of the Darkhaven series, Ava is battling with herself. The amulet is trying to make her act while her sire, Jasik, is trying to get her to talk. Ava’s dreams/premonitions involve Jasik and Ava is not happy about it. When a dark entity appears, the nest must figure out what to do.

Danielle Rose’s words pour out like a fountain made of gold. You want to get as much as you can, as quickly as you can.
Rose continues to amaze me with the way she is able to add on to the story line and keep it going. Her mind must be a treasure trove to be able to concoct this so well. She always leaves you with just enough to make you wonder what will happen in the next novel. It is always a pleasure to read her works.

This dark, twisted tale of Darkhaven continues to spin its web to catch you and entice to continue to read this series. The more I read the more I feel like I'm there feeling the pain with the characters. Feeling the loss of Will and Amicia is a burden Ava bears but I feel it too. It is sad but wonderful that it took a tragedy to finally bring Ava and Jasik together after all this time. The new threats looming against her and the hunters actually make me wonder if it's tied to her father. He's gone, the rest of Ava's coven (including mama) are gone, but yet she's the last one standing. Sofia makes for an interesting member of the group. It's easy to see between her and Ava's visions that Darkhaven is in for one heck of a ride and I can't wait to see where it goes

This is the sixth book in the Darkhaven Saga and it is not a standalone. It picks up where the last book left off and everyone is dealing with the aftermath. Ava is trying to come to grips with herself and Jasik is doing what he can to help her. Ava’s dreams are becoming more vivid and she is concerned. Then there is the amulet which feels like a secondary character that Ava must learn to control before it controls her. To make matters even more interesting, there is a new witch in town that gives Ava pause. This is one spellbinding tale woven by a very talented author that will leave you on the edge of your seat and I cannot wait to read the next installment. I highly recommend this series.

The Darkhaven Saga has been one of my favorites since the first installment, Dark Secret. The best news was when Danielle announced that the Saga is going to have more than five installments. Dark Shadow is full of secrets and new discoveries.
The journey of Ava Lopez continues in Dark Shadow, after she had cursed her whole coven of witches. She doesn’t feel safe and there are still a lot of unknown things happening around her.
She has kept a secret from Jasik and her nestmates. A secret she should have told them about.
An unexpected visitor has come to Darkhaven and they are unsure if they can trust him/her.
Ava Lopez is one of the strongest and bravest characters I know. She doesn’t only think of herself, but more of her new family and she still cares about her real family. Her life since the change has never been easy.
You will not be disappointed by the sixth installment to the Darkhaven Saga. A MUST READ for Young Adult, Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy lovers.

Ava's battles never seem to end. She faught her coven and took their powers and wear them around her neck and the cost was two members of her nest. Now, she is having an internal struggle with herself. She is having dreams/visions of things happening to Jasik. There is a new visitor in Darkhaven and no one knows if the visitor can be trusted. Ava, is always thinking about everyone else and worrying about her Vampire family and her witch family that she doesn't belong to any more. She is always putting everyone before herself.
Ava is truly Darkhaven and is always protecting it from all dangers!!

Ava and the nest of vampires are all dealing with loss. Everyone is hurting but Ava is really struggling. She has made decisions she is trying to come to terms with. Ava is questioning everything while reality and her dreams seem bleed into each other. Her nightmare are obvious to Jasik and all he wants is for Ava to be open with him. Ava and the vampires are struggling but a new threat is coming. So much pain, tension, indecision is happening but will this new threat be too much to handle? What an ending this book has and now I have more questions than answers. This series is amazing and you will get hooked. What a fantastic installment and I need to know what will happen next

The saga continues with Ava and Jasik, Ava is keeping secret the nightmares vs visions she is having from her nest family, trying to figure out what's happening to her, is she going crazy, what is real, is it brought on by guilt from the deaths of family, after telling the other hunters her secrets she has some relief, being drawn to her family home with Jasik by her side when the home was burning hearing cries of her mother, rogue vampires one particular is after Ava, looking forward to the next book, I have voluntarily read and review this ARC, thank you for the privilege, Dana Zamora

Ava has had a rough time being a hybrid. She took on great danger to protect her nest but lost her ability to be both vampire and witch. After she gets it back, she dreams of a rouge that isn't supposed to be in her dreams. She senses the danger and looks for it. She also meets a fire witch. There is a hesitancy in ava that isn't normally there. This witch lost her family to the rouge vampire just like ava suspects happened to her witch family. Great writing with very a creative storyline. I cannot wait for book 7.

I really love this series but feel like this book did not contain enough information to advance the story as well as it could. I like the cliff hanger that was left. Who is "he"? What does he want from Ava? How is Sofia significant?
I understand and appreciate the details on the struggle Ava and the rest of the best are dealing with after the ending if the last book. That was very descriptive and realistic. However, not much was advanced in the story line. I need the next book fast so I can find out!

Continuing after the deaths of Will and Amica as well as her grandmother Ava is feeling lost. Jasik is trying to get her to talk and when strange things start happening again, ava realizes that the nightmares that have been plaguing her may not just be nightmares. With the help of Holland and the rest of the vampire family they realize that there may be someone out to get Ava still but not from her former coven.
***This was another great installment of the Darkhaven saga and had a lot happen within the 10 chapters. I cant wait for part 7!

I love the story of Ava and Jasik. This is book 6 of the Darkhaven series and Ava is forever tormented by her visions. Torn between telling Jasik about her feelings and acting on them has Ava so confused. Reading this series has always surprised me when I turn the page and find myself at the end of the book. Now to wait for the next one to see if Ava gets lost to the powerin the amulet... awesome storyline Danielle Rose! I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy for my honest review..

Review for Dark Shadow:
It starts very slow and stays depressing throughout. It gives you some hope when a new person emerges and you want to know more, but the author keeps that from you. You know Ava is depressed from the ending of book 5, but the depths of her darkness is... well DARK. Having the crystal around her neck I think keeps her tethered to the depression and I'm hoping within the next book she escapes it. I'm also hoping they gained an alley versus another enemy.

Danielle Rose did it again,I absolutely love this series and if you haven’t started reading this series yet, I highly recommend it! I love anything with witches and vampires and paranormal and this series has them in spades. Ava is trying to deal with the loss of friends from the previous books. This is a series you need to read from beginning to keep up but what a great series! I have enjoyed watching Ava grow and develop and can’t wait to see more of her!

This was originally a 5 book series so I was SO ESTATIC when 5 more were announced! Dark Shadow is book 6 of the series and we follow Ava as she deals with the aftermath of the battle with the witches. She is going through different emotions and lost about what do to when a newbie arrives. Can she trust this person? She is not sure and again, our vampire witch faces new challenges. I love this series so much and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Y'all this series is incredible. If you haven't started it, start it now and catch up. Danielle has taken us on an incredible journey into the lives of a vampire nest that has a half witch half vampire. And Ava finds herself in all sorts of jams every book. Seriously read this series!

Another wonderful book in the Darkhaven saga. Just when you think Ava will get a break & just be able to "be" something else comes up. Ava is constantly trying to decide what is real, what to tell her vampire family, and what to do. There is no relaxing for Ava or anyone reading this series.

Vampires VS. Witches,,What more can you ask for? I have to say that this is my favorite in the series so far. I love Ava and Jasik. I am so happy that there will be more to this series. I can not wait for the next book.

Enjoyed this book like all the other ones in this saga. But for some reason I felt like it was skipping things so some of the papers didn’t make much sense to me. Can’t wait to read book 7 and the other 3 when there released
