OMG !!!!!!! This series keeps getting better and better. Just when you think you know how thing will play out whammy another twist.You never expect what is coming next!!!! Danielle you have out done your self!
This is most definitely not your typical paranormal story line she has put so many new takes on it. You wonder if there is anything else she could possibly come up with? But some how she keeps new things coming!!!!!

The Darkhaven Saga is one of my all time favorites. I have enjoyed the life of Ava Lopez since the beginning. Her life started off as a normal spirit-witch to where she is now, a hybrid-part witch, part vampire.
Dark Descent is full of emotion, action and darkness. Both the life of the vampires and the life of Ava are at risk.
Ava will do anything to protect the amulet and to discover more about the amulet. She is not sure what intentions of the amulet are with her. The more she harness power within the black onyx crystal in the amulet, the more control it takes over her actions and emotions.
Her friends want to destroy the amulet to protect Ava from losing herself and the ones around her.
The ending was UNEXPECTED.
I need Dark Power (Dakhaven Saga #8) now !!!
The journey of Ava Lopez is interesting with so many unexpected events happening in her life.
We need to appreciate the friends and family that care about us.
You will not be disappointed by the seventh installment to the Darkhaven Saga. A MUST READ for Young Adult, Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy lovers.
A well written, and an easy to read, book.

This is book 7 of the Darkhaven series, must be read in order, and in my opinion it is the best book yet. Danielle Rose has done an amazing job writing this series and I am surprised when the latest book is better than the previous one.. Ava was born a witch, she was given an opportunity to choose immortality instead of death and chose life as a vampire. Now she is a hybrid, half witch, half vampire. Her mother and former coven decided to draw on dark magic to kill the vampires but they apparently did the spell wrong and they were killed and all their power went into an onyx amulet which Ava is wearing to keep it safe. A lot happens in this book that affects Ava and the nest of vampires she has become a part of.. and that ending, why would you end it with that? I definitely recommend this book! I received an advance copy for my honest review..

Book number 7!!! This one was a hard read... it focused more on the dark witchcraft that Ava has been carrying around. So be prepared for gloomy and lots of it. It can get rather depressing because you've seen her go from witch, to vampire to hybrid to nothing then back to whatever you want call what she is now.
While yes it is a very dark book, the ending left you on a cliffhanger I half expected honestly. When Ava's dreams were constantly being the main part of the story I thought there has to be a connection... yup found it.. the last paragraph of the book.
I'm looking forward to 8 to find out how it all wraps up; especially with the cliffhanger I just got.

Its depressing and then she leaves it on a cliffhanger. She's trudging through her feelings of loosing family and friends from the last books and constantly down on herself. The stone that carries all the evil, amulet, is seeping into her and changing her so the nest worries about her. She feels everyone is against her, including a new witch that comes into the picture. At the end she finds a nest of over 100 rogues and then their leader. .. which who it is, is the cliffhanger but you kinda see something like that happening.

Ava has started to really give in to the power of the amulet. She knows how it makes her feel but she can’t seem to stop herself. Meanwhile Jasik and the rest of her nest mates worry about her and what the power is doing to her.
She knows that she is putting her family at risk but can’t seem to stop and it worries everyone. The way this book ended was a surprise to me but I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Let me just say OMG. Right when you think one thing might happen to Ava and Jasik something completely different comes along. It’s one twist after another. Who would have thought Ava’s father turned into a vampire when all along she thought he died when he was attacked. the darkhaven saga is one of my favorites so far. I can’t wait for the next books to read and find out if her mom actually died and who Sophia really is.

This series just keeps getting better and better and book 7 is no exception. This has to be one of the biggest challenges Ava has faced and it may come with dire consequences. I've been rooting hard for Ava since book 1 and this girl keeps fighting every obstacle that comes at her. This ended with a cliffhanger and of course I screamed nooooooooo! when I got to the last page. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a vampire/witch/paranormal YA story.

Wow! Danielle Rose you have out done yourself. What a fitting title for this book. So much is going on. The turmoil Ava faces is intense. There is so much darkness but is Ava strong enough? Can she let Jasik and her friends help? The entire time I was wondering what would happen next. Such a get book but that ending is shocking. I will be counting down the days for the next book in this series.

Danielle has thrown us on an emotional roller coaster with this installment of the Darkhaven Saga. Ava is struggling to find a balance with the dark power in the amulet she wears. It is growing stronger while she gets weaker. At the end we find out who the rouge is that has been targeting her and oh my!

Oh my goodness!! This one had me on the edge of my seat from the start! Ava is in the fight of her life with the amulet and her nest mates. The drama that ensues is out of this world. There are twists and turns no one could predict. And that ending?!?! Wow!!!! I never would safeguard that in a million years! Perfection! I cannot wait until the next one!

Wow this continuation is all consuming! The more you read the more you want to know and find out. Even when it is hard to read what is going on in Ava and her life. How is this all tied together? How is it going to end? I had a feeling about the end of this book and was so surprised. Keep up the amazing writing.

Ava's life is everchanging and amulet seems to be doing to and changing her.
While Jasik tries to protect her the changes in her are causing a distancing between her housemates and herself.
You want to read right through.

OMG! This book is crazy good! I couldn't put it down until I finished it all the way to the end..... And lets just say I didn't see that twist coming at the end...... I can't wait to read the next book in this series ....

Wow! The continuation of the Dark Haven series just keeps getting better and better. The author keeps you on your toes and the curve balls will completely blind side you! I can't wait to pass this series on to my son. He is going to love them as much as I do. Looking forward to more!

Danielle I started off not liking this book because I refused to have Ava as Evil but honestly I loved every roller coaster of emotion this book provided! I absolutely can't wait until the next one!!!

Fair warning, if you have not read the other six books first, you need to. If you have, you know how captivating this story is.
To recap, Ava was born a witch but was turned vampire to escape death. She now is a hybrid living with her maker, Jasik.
In this book, Ava is battling the evil power inside her amulet as it tries to control her. This battle is creating a wedge between her and her nest. She will have to choose a path.
Opinion
I think this is my favorite book thus far. The cliffhanger could rival “who killed JR” in the 80s. All I can say is “holy crapola, Danielle Rose has outdone herself in this one.” Fans of vampire or witch stories will engulf this one.
