Rate this book
IT’S NOT HARD Not if by hard you mean complex. You don’t need an array of expertise, though you will need a bit of beggar’s grit. It takes discipline to engage your patience in a conversation with a mind that is hostile to God. But you must do so, if you are ever going to help the people you know ask and answer the important questions of life together. This is a “how to” book for learning what the Holy Spirit is doing today. It is a simple manual for getting people baptized into the Kingdom of You talk them into it.All rights reserved under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)

Pastor Fisk's writing style is certainly provocative...many would simply call it weird. His message is incredibly important, however, and the book is well worth reading, as long as one doesn't simply breeeze through it without putting any of the words into action. Overall, it's a great book on witnessing. You just might have to shrug at some of the odd analogies along the way.

While unconventional in format, Rev. Jonathan Fisk absolutely nails this one. What a neat way to present how to begin, maintain, and seal an active discussion using questions (rhetoric), knowledge of our confession, and trusting the work of God's word and the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the believer and those who are in the process of agreeing Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and that means everything.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will continue to go back to it!

A good and useful book with a timely message, written perhaps a little too jarringly so as to force readers to pay attention. It could have used more development, and clearer language, but overall a beneficial read.

I hope this was an experiment for Fisk. For me, the experiment failed. I've read and profited greatly from his other books so this was somewhat of a let down.

Jonathan, don't experiment. Go back to the excellent writing you've done in the past and the readers will be well-served.

Good topic and good message, but sometimes difficult to read due to odd sentence structure. If you can wade through the odd syntax, the book is really encouraging about telling people about your faith and not being shy about it.

Inspirational, concise, and challenging. I've not read a book with a higher return on investment in a long time. The wows per page is definitely greater than one.

This is quick and deceptively easy to read. Unpacking what is "between the lines" takes a lot of time and effort. It's also worth it.
