A fun, lighthearted continuation from the first one. I partially neglected dinner to read this book, and I have no regrets. Just the casual sort of read I need on a busy day! I’m so glad I preordered it~
Love seeing all the characters being introduced in the manga. I see the anime did a different timeline than the manga. I also liked how the manga doesn’t shy for the harem lifestyle.
For this second volume, a lot happens in terms of developing relationships, alliances, and the base itself, but it's almost devoid of consequential conflict, drama or character growth. There was no development of the "god" storyline on how and why he was granted this second life and the magic tool. Still, it's easy reading with good art, and there is something drawing me onwards to see how the story keeps developing, a little bit like having to continue eating yummy junk food when there's not much nutrition in it.
