Inspired from Within takes you on a journey through the insight of DC native Robert Lee as he expresses his views on life regarding philosophies, economic considerations for successful striving, and suggestions for applying positive behavior. In short essays on various broad ideas, the author shares some memories and incidents from his life and how they affected his viewpoints. Included is one of his earliest metaphorical essays, “The Chimpanzee Theory.” This inspiring book is divided into three sections and covers many topics including truth, business dealings, diversity, taking control of one's life, and a road to achievement. Added to his expressive ideas are the photographs of his architectural designs, which are interspersed throughout this work and display another aspect of Lee's creativity. Although this book is quite thought-provoking, it is easy to read and hard to put down.
