Crushing on the Guy Next Door is exactly what Dani has done for the last six months since the gorgeous and very sexy man moved in next door. She has only ever "stalked" him, staring at him through the windows of her home office but always hiding, never introducing herself to him. After all what would he want with her when he has Airline Barbie for a girlfriend. I mean she is a app programming geek who wears dark rimmed glasses, has a messy bun and wears purple pajama bottoms (her favorite) and Kirby the Ice Cream Locator tank top.
Bryce Michaels works as a landscaper for his uncle and enjoys the job. He moved into a new house six months ago and has been working on the landscaping since then. He has broken up with his girlfriend just recently after finding out that she joined the mile high club not once but multiple times while cheating on him, she is an airline attendant. They had been living together, as she needed a place to stay until she got back on her feet, but she was out now....time to change those locks. Because Bryce's head was somewhere else at work his uncle told him to take a week and get it together. So this is a perfect time for him to do some outside work and the new retaining wall is the perfect project to keep his mind off things.
While Bryce is working on the retaining wall, lifting the very heavy blocks, Dani is getting a perfect view of her shirtless neighbor. But things go wrong when he catches her staring at him with her nose pressed to the window. Startled he drops one of the cement blocks and part of it ends up landing on his toe...well hello pain. Dani ends up introducing herself to her neighbor who ends up needing a ride to the hospital to get it checked out. From there things get interesting as Dani's life changes due to downsizing and Bryce's life changes due to his sweet, lickable and curvy neighbor.
This is a funny, sweet, charming, delicious, romantic and lickable dirty sexy......mint chocolate chip ice cream anyone? I really enjoyed the story of Dani and Bryce, and her bestie Heather who adds a lot of laughter to the story. But we also can't forget Kirby and those purple pj bottoms which Bryce finds ooooh so sexy.

She rushes over to help him and ends up taking him to the hospital. He thinks he’s been saved by an angel, as he watches her hips, and enjoys her hypnotic eyes and smile. She’s so genuine, unlike his now-ex.
These two fall in love VERY quickly. It’s all sizzling-hot chemistry and raw and steamy passion. They are just perfect together. But of course Airline Barbie puts a spanner in the works for a little bit, but Bryce is determined to clear up the misunderstanding and tell Dani how he really feels about her. She’s got a bit of a surprise for him too!
This story is totally OTT but I love it like that sometimes! The epilogue was lovely too. But I just wish their story could have continued! They were such likeable characters. Another short story quick read by Kali Hart. Dani is the shy nerdy girl who works in her pyjamas at home for an app company. She has been secretly crushing on the hot landscaper who moved in next door 6 months ago but has never made a move to introduce herself. Bryce is taking a week off work after breaking up with his cheating girlfriend. After injuring his foot he meets his neighbor Dani when she offers to drive him to the E.R and is immediately intrigued by her. He invites her over for movie night where they do alot more than watching the movie. After spending time together and helping her develop her own ice cream app he is completely smitten. When Dani goes over to surprise Bryce on his lunch break she is heartbroken to see his ex girlfriend, who she has dubbed as 'Airline Barbie' standing in the kitchen in nothing but his work shirt. When Bryce learns about this he kicks his ex out and rushes over to salvage his relationship with Dani where he proposes and they go on to live their H.E.A. This book was a really quick read about a story that has been told a hundred times already. There was nothing special about this to make it stand out from the rest and even the sex scene was 'meh'. But I guess if you want a quick lunch time read to kill time then go for it.

Bryce isn't that surprised when he discovers that his girlfriend has been cheating on him but he needs to clear his head so he takes time from his landscaping business and decides to work on his own property hoping the physical labour will help him When he hurts himself Dani will come to his aid and he can't believe that he has been missing out on been with her but can he convince her she is meant for him You will have to read to see

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Crushing on the guy next door is the first book in the ‘’guy next door’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Dani has had a crush on her neighbour for a while. When she gets caught looking, she ends up introducing herself. Despite having just gotten out of a relationship, Bryce knows Dani is the woman for him as soon as he meets her.
The chemistry between Dani and Bryce is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I really liked this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. The nickname for Sylvia of Airline Barbie cracked me up and I really enjoyed Bryce telling her where to go. Dani and Bryce were neighbors but had never met as Dani was an introvert so she wasn't comfortable introducing herself. Bryce was injured while working in his backyard and needs assistance which Dani provides. Things kind of explode from there. There are plenty of feels with this story and you won't be disappointed with it. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

Love this series so far. I really love geek romances and this one didn't disappoint. Dani the geeky curvy girl who doesn't think she could pull somebody like her hunky neighbor Bryce couldn't be more wrong. When Bryce finally meets his shy neighbor he sees a super sweet, cute and caring person. Bryce really isn't superficial and he knows that Dani is special. This entire story was adorable but had some predictable parts throughout. I knew exactly what was going to happen when Bryce said he need to change the locks to his house...and oooh boy did it happen...LOL. All in all I enjoyed Dani and Bryce's romance (I think others would too) and I'm eagerly awaiting the next story in the series.

Another great insta love story. The storyline was great and it's a nice read before you go to bed at night. (Sweet Dreams) Dani is the neighbor next door and watches Bryce out her window while she works in her PJ's in her home office. She's seen the girlfriend and knows that she can't compete with her. Bryce finds out that the mile high club is alive and well and his girlfriend is a frequent flyer. Bryce is in his backyard moving bricks when one falls on his foot. Dani is over in the next yard in a flash to help Bryce. He wonders why he's never noticed her before. Is she going to be the rebound girlfriend or is his love pure? She needs to get him to the hospital. They meet under extreme circumstances but are instantly attracted to each other. What does this mean? Bryce wants to know about this lady he didn’t know lived next door. He is attracted to her, to her personality, her smile, her brains. What will happen? It is a sexy, crazy, funny entertaining story. She was spying on him when he realized she was watching him and a rock fell on his foot. Feeling guilty and panically she takes him to the hospital. I really liked the story love at first sight or crush a t first sight. They fell in love quickly and got their HEA. The only thing that bothered me teeny tiny bit, was that the ex moved out and he got involved with someone else right after... even there was no intimacy between him and the ex for months prior. But that is just me.🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ Steamy and sweet with a great HEA👍.

This book makes me want to check out my own neighbor. He’s cute and all and he works outdoors a lot. But Bryce is on a whole different level.

Cute, funny read of spying on the next door neighbor, only to get caught and cause him bodily harm. Great characters written with charm and humor POV that always seems to get the character in trouble, in a good way. I liked the sweet nature of the story, with just a drop of drama to keep the book flowing.

Great book. Dani was in love with Bryce but he had a girlfriend until he found out she was messing around on him. He was doing yard work and dropped a brick on his foot. Dani took him to the hospital he kissed her once she got him home. He came over next day helped her get her web app going and they finally made a nice for each other and that was all it took happy ending

Wouldn’t you know it, the girl...er... the woman he was looking for all along is right next door and it took a small mishap for them to meet.

This was fun to read and sexy. I found myself smiling and laughing most of the time. Dani is funny and just a “normal” woman that you can’t help but root for her. There is no drama with Bryce and their relationship develops organically. It’s sweet.
