This is my favorite one of Shanna Noel’s guided devotional journals. The devotions are the perfect lead in to help you craft your own prayers based on the theme of the devotional. A great way to spend a few minutes of the day communing with God!

Such a great way to pray & journal & pour out one's heart to the Lord. Short devotional on the left page, open space on the right page to record prayers & thoughts. Artistic splotches & doodles printed on each page (none are the same), giving a very personal quality to the book. I purchased & printed some cute doodles from an Illustrated Faith artist (sorry, forgotten her name) but she had them all coordinated to the 100 days of the book--with little flowers & lettered word that highlights the day's reading.

I've added a bit of washi tape (I have a LOT so this is a great way to jazz up a page) to each page, along with the printed "stamps" from the IF artist. I use colored pens to underline some of the devotional material that hits home, along with highlighters---then use the open space on the right page to write a prayer. At first I felt a little weird "writing to God" but after a few days, booosh, really got into the swing of it, and wondering what I'll do once this one is full. :-)

The devotionals are written in a talkative style, but very on-point with respect to what Christian women are going through, no matter what stage of life! The Bible passages cited at the end of each reading are always well-coordinated to the day's devotional thought. I am ALWAYS pleased with how the point of the message is "so fitting" and helpful.

There is a large community on Instagram who are completing this book using the hashtag "100days ofprayer if you need ideas of how to "jazz up" your pages (or not) or just want to connect or converse with other Christian women who are also going through this same book. Not everyone is on the same page, but that doesn't seem to matter! Many women posted pictures of their progress when the book was first released, I don't see as many now (well into it), but if you search on that hashtag will find lots of IG posts.

God's blessings on your journey!
