This was a good book to give tips and suggestions for those that are new to the world of ASD. I loved how positive everything was stated and all the quotes from numerous ASD children.

General suggestions and methods I received from our therapist and other professionals. This book is focused on young children who are not high functioning autistic, which unfortunately doesn't represent my family's needs.

An easy to understand primer, I can see how this would be a supportive guide for parents navigating a new ASD diagnosis for their child—especially while learning management of all the external systems (school supports, community-based, therapeutic needs, etc).
