Self-proclaimed romance junkie. Lover of music. Too invested in the lives of fictional characters. Bestselling author Lexi Kingston has been enamored by fictional worlds since she was a child. She became obsessed with the allure of crafting characters people could relate to.
Lexi writes sweet, no spice contemporary romance (Lexi Kingston) and paranormal romance (Lexi J. Kingston) books with characters who fight for and find home in each other.
When she’s not plotting or writing, she’s likely submerged in a book. And when she’s not reading… well, she’s probably writing again because she’s a workaholic who loves her job.
Aspens life has been anything but easy. Now that they’ve been forced to move, strange things keep happening. The town has an odd history and Aspen is determined to figure it out. Will her destiny change? Or will she be able to decide for herself and live with her choices.
Took me a while to read because I have issues with focusing. Felt dragged on and I was bored. Had a lot of Twilight & Vampire diaries vibes but no spice. I’d recommend this for a young adult. Just not my vibe.
I loved this book! It kind of started slow but picked up pretty quick in the first chapter and wouldn’t stop till I finished the whole book! It sure left a lot of intrigue to peak your interest an not being able to put it down till you finished it! I highly recommend this book to all readers in love with the paranormal!
Unfortunately not for me. Prior to the plot kicking in properly, I thought this was very Twilight-like (which was off-putting). The plot was interesting just slow. I really wanted to enjoy this but it wasn’t for me.
This book felt rushed and like I’d read it all before… I couldn’t take it anymore and only got about half way through. Sorry I almost always love something about a book but I just can think of even one thing.
For a YA book, it was ok. Honestly, then only thing that makes it YA was the violence. It was on a list for romantic vampire books but there was nothing overly romantic about this book but it was an easy read.
