After breaking up with her boyfriend of 6 years, Kris accepted a transfer to her company’s San Francisco office fulfilling her childhood dream of living in her favorite city.
Jonathan works 80-100 hours a week most weeks and no woman he’s ever met has understood or accepted that. He likes the idea of a long-term relationship, but never seemed to have time for anything more than a few weeks before work got in the way.
Kris and Jonathan are assigned to team up on a year-long project. When their non-work talk lunch rule develops into the start of a friendship, but feel like they want more. Can Kris trust him enough to tell him why she doesn’t go to her hometown and the secret she’s been keeping from almost everyone that knew her before she moved to San Francisco? . . “I leaned forward toward her and whispered, “I really want to kiss you. It’s becoming harder and harder to remain professional when we are together.” She looked up at me and leaned in, “I really want you to kiss me.” . . “I learned that it took me eight kisses to get from his ear to his shoulder and that when I nibbled on his lower lip, his natural reaction was to laugh and pull me closer. I learned that if I straddled his lap and ground into him, her groaned a low growl. I learned that I had never been kissed the way he kissed me.” . . . Quick steamy kindle unlimited read. Johnathan was all in from the beginning which was nice to see and he was such goals. Lots of spice. Loved Jonathan and Noah together and liked that you got to see the enjoyed relationship unfold
This was a quick (and super steamy) whirlwind office romance read. Loveable characters and relatable situations sucked me in from the very beginning. I don’t read this genre often, but I was glad I branched out a bit (and so was my husband who reaped the lingering benefits 😉). If you’re looking for a new author to read JLynn Autumn’s breakout novel is a great place to start.
So much to love about this book! This sweet yet sexy office romance is a must read! Game Changer gives us a smart and easy to love heroine and her charming colleague/love interest. Jonathan is true book boyfriend material, he says all the right things at exactly the right times. It’s hard not to fall in love with this feel-good story and it’s cast of swoon-worthy characters.
Game Changer is a steamy office/single-mom romance that takes place in San Francisco. It tells the story of Kris and Jonathan's relationship from coworker to falling in love. It's told in dual perspective so you get their story from their points of view. There's also a flashback chapter where Kris shares how she became a single mom and the potential impact that has on their relationship. . . “I leaned forward toward her and whispered, “I really want to kiss you. Wowed by a new author. I don't leave written reviews often but I want to for this new author. I did receive the book as an ARC for my honest review.
I loved the story of Kris and Jonathon. Two workaholics both with their own reasons for not pursuing long term romance. They come together when they're paired up for a work project. The chemistry is instant. But can Kris open her broken and bruised heart allowing Jonathon in her life? Will Jonathon listen to his heart and take on this single mom with trust issues? A sweet work romance all the way through. It's a MUST READ

I could not put the book down. I needed to know what happened I was so drawn in to the story and the characters. I want spin off books for most of the characters. Jlynn did a great job of having just the right amount of everything in the book. Can’t wait to read what she comes up with next.
I received this book as an ARC for my honest review.
I really liked this book. It was a great mix of a cute story and things that were a bit more x-rated. I liked that all the characters were built up not just the two mains. The epilogues were just fantastic.
Game Changer by JLynn Autumn is a beautifully crafted modern romance that captures the quiet electricity between two people learning to trust again not through grand gestures, but through the slow, steady rhythm of real connection.
Kris, still healing from the wreckage of a long relationship, takes a leap toward her dream life in San Francisco only to find herself paired on a year-long project with Jonathan, a brilliant but overworked man whose heart has long taken second place to his ambition. What begins as an office partnership marked by guarded professionalism gradually transforms into a friendship then something deeper, riskier, and far more tender.
Autumn writes with a rare sensitivity to emotional timing. Every shared glance, every rule they break, every confession feels earned. The dialogue hums with authenticity, and the chemistry between Kris and Jonathan is both magnetic and deeply human. Beneath the heat lies something rarer: two people choosing honesty, healing, and the courage to love again without losing themselves.
Readers who adore The Hating Game, Before We Were Strangers, or Love, Theoretically will fall hard for Game Changer. It’s romantic realism at its best sensual, heartfelt, and quietly empowering the kind of story that lingers long after the last kiss.
Loved this sweet story. Particularly Jonathan, he's just everything you could ever want. Loved the epilogues too, was nice seeing the o t her characters perspectives.
I started this book at the end of the day and did not want to stop, but sleep overruled. Could not wait until lunchtime to resume where I left off. First book I read from JLynn Autumn, and looking forward to reading several more.
