Wild Irish Sage

Rate this book

Brogan McCarthy will den Dämonen seiner Vergangenheit entkommen.

Of all the books I've read in my lifetime, and I've read a lot, this series is in my top 3. It's my #1 in this genre! I don't know how Tricia O'Malley does it, but every book is better than the last! In my opinion, it's impossible to not fall in love with all the characters in this series, main and otherwise. They are written in such great detail, with flow and witty interaction that they come alive before your eyes! I loved every second reading this!!

Kay, but I LOVED this book.

This might have been my favourite book from this series. The Otters, Rosie -- all the animals talking just made my heart felt.

Almost all of the main characters from this series were in this novel in some way (still wishing for more Flynn and Keelin...)

Brogan is like the perfect man. Seeing this love, and patience for Kira was incredible. Seeing Kira's growth and development over the entire novel was beautiful.

Mr. Murphy is such a GEM, I love him so much.

What I think I just love about these books is that it makes you know that true love is real and it's out there. The sacrifices that you will need to make in life to make this relationship work won't even be sacrifices because it will just fit into place. It will still take hard work, dedication and two people that are willing to do that; but it's real.

Kira and Brogan -- their Otter family; it's perfection. I would re-read this novel again and again.

Heartwarming story of romance and magic set in Ireland.
Kira Delaney is a creative photographer, taking pictures of nature , rock bands anything that suits her interest.
Her career has taken her all over the world and made her famous.
However, when she comes home to take over her mother's art gallery while her parents go on a vacation, Kira starts to realize that something is missing in her life.
She meets Brogan McCarthy, who is an environmental scientist. He is in favor of protecting the environment and does studies to make sure that happens.
Brogan has lost his grandmother and inherited her cottage and a large parcel of land.
Kira and Brogan seem to be opposites but have a lot in common.
Charming story!

This series NEVER fails to bring happiness to ones heart and soul. Once again the magic of the Cove is true. Watch as one of the Covers own fights her fiery, independent streak to find her very own happiness back where she's from. We see old friends and spirits, and meet a few new ones along the way. Filled with magic of the heart, a unique new friendship, and lots more. It always feels like a warm hug when reading a book about Mystic Cove, and this one was no different. So grab a cup of tea, and cuddle up while diving into this latest visit.

I am not as good as I should be when it comes to reviewing a book as soon as I finish it, but I just can't not write something about this book.

I love absolutely everything about it, I absolutely love the way Tricia has built this world within our world. Everything feels so real, I have to talk myself down after each book when I am googling Flights to Shannon and Rental cars. This book in particular spoke to me as a photographer. The descriptions and explanations that were given to the photos in this book were simply amazing, it's the first time I have seen my own thoughts and feelings through someone else's eyes. It was priceless.

This story was absolutely precious and I loved everything about it and will have to get a hard copy and see if I can't get it signed one day for my permanent collection !

Kira and Brogan, man, relationship goals. I loved these two so much. I always enjoy a Mystic Cove book and this was another fun addition. I love how open Kira is about her magic and true to himself Brogan is as a man. The best part was probably the otters though. I mean, come on. Kira's ability to talk to animals and a cursing otter just cracked me up.

I was given a beta copy of this book for an honest review. I loved this book, one of my favorites in the Mystic Cove series!

Kira is back home in Mystic Cove to help out her mother Aislinn (Wild Irish Soul, Book 3) after she has surgery by running her gallery while she recovers. While happy to help her mother out she’s not used to staying in one place for long, with a successful photography career she’s traveled the world where ever the wind takes her. While her friends have found love and have settled in Mystic Cove she’s not ready to settle down in one place……or is she? Of course she has her own magick, one being the ability to see a persons aura, a handy glimpse into a persons true nature.

Brogan is a Scientist and has traveled the world as well. In Grace’s Cove to see to the inheritance left him by his Grandmother, he’s on a search to discover the mysteries of the world and himself. While he doesn’t have Magick of his own he was raised with his Gram’s stories, when the magick starts to fly around him will his Irish soul trust in its truth or will his scientific mind be unable to believe in something he can’t prove?

Meeting by accident in the gallery, Brogan is elusive, too shy to put himself forward Kira’s going to have to chase him down if she wants to get to know him better.

This is a light and fun read. Yes there is a little conflict, someone once again is trying to bring unwanted progress to Mystic Cove, and while it plays a part in the overall arc of the story it doesn’t bog it down in drama.

There are some truly lighthearted and fun moments that had me laughing out loud. There are also some really sad moments as Kira gets to know and understand Brogan and what made him the man he is today, you’ll want your tissues handy for those. Out don’t want to give away any spoilers so you’ll have to read the story yourself to meet the littlest stars of this story!

It is always a treat to visit Grace's Cove!! In the sincerest of honesty; I wished I could really live there. Even though it is a fictitious village, Grace's Cove encompasses everything I love about Ireland. Reading about Grace's Cove and the lovely people that live there is the perfect escape from the actual world.

Wild Irish Sage is the 9th full installment of this lovely series. It stars Kira Delaney, the daughter of Aislinn and Baird Delaney. We met Aislinn and Baird in Wild Irish Soul. Like her mother, Kira has magickal and powerful gifts, and she has not been afraid of sharing who she is with those she meets. Kira is a firecracker and a fantastic photographer who has made quite the name for herself in the world of photography.

When Kira comes home to help her mom while she recovers from surgery, she doesn’t expect to be back in Grace’s Cove for very long... that is, until she meets the handsome Brogan McCarthy. Brogan has come to Grace’s Cove to deal with his late gran’s estate. Having not really put down roots, Brogan only expects to be passing through.

Little do the two of them know is that life is about to change for the both of them. This is a story of not letting life break you, channeling that power, and being confident enough to find true happiness in the least likely of circumstances.

Finding Your Place

Kids has found her artistic nitch . From her earliest crayon drawings to her first camera, Kids was encouraged to explore and try new things, until, finally, she found the beautiful world through the lenses of her camera. From that day on, Kira Delaney was committed to her art.
As her fame increased, she found herself in great demand to the point of becoming the photographer for a popular rock singer, Jax. Entering a personal relationship with him, may have been a mistake. But it is that mistake which returns her to Mystic Cove. Taking a sabbatical to work in her mother's gallery seems like a long six month task and a long time to stay in one place.

On her first day a handsome and intriguing stranger wanders in. Perhaps the months will not be a waste? Brogan McCarthy has returned to his grandmother's house after her death to try and escape his own personal demons. Will a shared attraction, a love a nature and a strange little otter be enough to keep both Kids and Brogan attached to the cove?

The patrons of the local tavern and locals seem to think so. But is it possible to trust someone while you're still figuring out who you are and where you belong?

Kira and Brogan, one born and raised in the village the other brought home to deal with the inheritance left by his grandmother.
Kira inherited her mother's artistic eye and with her camera has made a name for herself on the international scene from rock bands, actors and actresses, and national magazines. Now home to help out while her mum is down she rediscovers the wonders of the cove area.
Brogan not only falls for the cottage his grandmother left him but the land surrounding it as well. He along with Kira soon find out that a rogue construction company is building on his land and threatening the otter population. Can Kira and Brogan stop the construction company to save Fergal and Heathers pond? Will the two find more in common than the love of the land?

Miss Tricia has sent us the readers back to the majestic magical cove of Grace O'Malley once again. As usual the cast of characters feel like family, the scenery is so vivid we get swept away and to have Fiona pay a visit is an extra special treat.

Loved this. Aislinn's daughter is all grown up and a famous photographer who travels the world. She goes on tours with rock stars documenting the tours with photographs. She does shoots for National Geographic and other magazine. But when her mom is injured, Kira goes home to manage the store while her father takes mom on a vacation. While working in the shop one day a stranger named Brogan walks in and turns her world upside down. He makes a purchase, they chat and he leaves without ever trading names. Neither one of them can stop thinking about the other. Drawn together in their efforts to help some otters and later to build a conservation center, they begin falling for each other. But Kira wants her freedom and career, not to stay in Grace's Cove. What happens next?

Quick and lovely.

Normally I'd be saying "same old" but this one actually surprised me a bit. There is something to be said for formulaic writing, since it can be a comfort to know how the plot will be laid out and that you'll get a HEA. This seemed a bit of a new thing to me and I enjoyed more than some others lately. I'm still not fond of a resolution in the last 20 pages of a book and the bulk of the plot being over at that point, but it is a tried and true formula that others seem to like.

Thankfully these are quick reads and I've read the series in less than a week so I can move on to other formulas. Happy reading!

I really liked Kira and Brogan’s love story. It was slow burn but there from the beginning until the both figured out what they wanted. No childish behavior just real and true love. I love that after all of Brogan’s heartache/trama he was still open to love.

I love The Otter News. LOL! They are adorable and I can’t even see them. Mr. Murphy should be a rich man, considering how many pools he’s won.😉 The story makes me want some prints of my own.

Amy Landon’s narration was perfect for all the characters.

Another fantastic book by Tricia O'Malley! The reader is immediately pulled back into the little town of Grace's Cove and it's easy to get invested in the lives of old and new friends. I always enjoy the descriptions of the landscape, I am sitting at the bar at Gallagher's Pub and listen to the local band playing. But what I like most is that the characters feel real, that they don't live a perfect life and have personal struggles to overcome. Definitely a 5-star book.

The newest Irish Love Story

Tricia does it again. Weaves magic into a love tale. I love how she weaves favorite characters from past books seamlessly into the new storyline. Brogan is a sweetheart, able to have such an open heart after childhood cruelty. Kids being able to be open about her gifts. And of course the adorable Fergal and Heather . I can't wait for your best book! 😄

I do love a Tricia O'Malley story. This book in the Mystic Cove Series is no exception. I love that her characters of both genders are fiery, independent and have a sense of good along with humor. I recognize that Tricia is probably done with the people of Mystic Cove but that would be a sad thing. All of her previous heros and heroines are warmly welcome in each new story. Keep them coming please.

More! I've read the 1st 10....in 5 weeks. Need more!

How could I POSSIBLY give this less than 5 stars? I have never read one of her tales that I didn't love! However, you really NEED to read the series from the front.... I actually read from book 2 on the 1st time because she wrote the series that way..... actually, yes! Start with the 2 book!.... book one is actually a prequel of book 2. Its better that way! Seriously!!!💕

You Offer read this!

Environmental science and protecting species is something extremely close to my heart. Tricia has brought this love and emotion of protecting environments and animals to the page in a fun filled, magical and wonderful way that only she can do. Add a love story into it and you have a winner. Who says only humans can find love by the pond.

Loved the Magic

Truly enjoy the characters past and present. Learning how the children all grew up and their accomplishments is nice. The scenery is beautifully described makes me want to visit Ireland. Sometimes we all need a little magic in our life. Can’t wait for the next generation to come out and what gifts of magic they will possess.

Probably my favorite in Tricia's Wild Irish series. I love going back to Grace's Cove with each new book and seeing the family and love grow with Kira and Brogan was such a pleasure in Wild Irish Sage. Plus, those otters were just too adorable! Keep them coming Tricia and thank you for sharing your passion and imagination.

True emotions

This is a very good tie in to the rest of the Mystic Cove family and friends. You truly feel like you are there. The emotions that the couple are dealing with are so true to the characters. Very good ending. Can not wait to read more. The gift of talking with the animals is very strange at first but fits nicely and is cute.

Heartwarming and absorbing

This is a wonderful tale of love and discovery and exploration of feeling and places. A photographer comes to help her mother run her art studio while she takes a vacation and falls in love with the Irish village and the people in it. When she returns to her busy life she begins to question what it is she really wants out of life.
