Destined: Bryn Blackstone’s Second Chance Romance

Rate this book
It starts with a chance meeting at an airport bar and will end with one man's second chance to claim the one who got away.Bryn Blackstone was shocked to cross paths with Jamison Cox at the airport. Why did she have to see him again? Bryn thought she had gotten Jamison out of her system, but there he stood with his yummy smirk and come-hither eyes. He had the same wit, charm, and masculine appeal that drew her to him from the start. It was hard to walk away from Jamison yet again, but she had done it. She was just getting her relationship with her brothers back on track; out of family loyalty, she had to choose them over him.Jamison Cox always knew he would see her again, but not like this, not right now. But there she sat at the airport bar, Bryn Blackstone, the one who got away. She was still lovely and intelligent, a real catch. He wanted to tell her that she had been the only woman in his heart and on his mind since circumstances forced them to part ways. Then, she turned her back on him, determined to leave his life forever. But Jamison knew this one thing for sure, Fate had given him a second chance with Bryn Blackstone, and this time he wasn't going to let her get away. This billionaire romance can be read as a standalone. The story has plenty of angst, steam, and twists and turns; it also ends happily ever after.

Loved Bryn aka Bronwyn Henrietta Christmas and Jamison Arlington Cox's story. I would advise that you read Jasper and Spencer and Asher's stories before you read Bryn's story because she was in the other stories and so was Jamison and you will get the foundation of how their story started. I loved that it wasn't easy for them to forget each other's past and lean into the fate that keeps bringing them into each other's life. It was like it was preordained, that they were to be soulmates no matter what life had brought them to this point. I enjoyed this story because most of the family was involved in this story in one way or the other. The Christmases had a dark past, but we know that they fought so that the light of the Christmas family could shine through. Yes, there was angst, and lies and secrets and even betrayal, at least we think so but throughout all the drama we love that Bryn the twin of Asher who was in a previous series finally gets her happiness. This book was well written, and the plot is definitely surprising, in fact there was more than one plot that brought this story to its conclusion. I would highly recommend this story.

This is the second book in Bryn’s story. I am sad to be reading the last Christmas book in this series. Z.L. Arkadie has brought the characters to life in a way you can relate to their struggles. I am so proud of Bryn for the way she has matured and stands up for herself. She has found her way and is not afraid of what other people may think. Jamison is fighting his way back to Bryn but many family secrets come to the surface. Can they overcome all the secrets and mountains put in their way? This entire series is a must read.

Last book of the family saga

This book wraps up the family saga nicely. I expected more drama towards the end, but it was fine. I reduced the rating to four based on 1) expecting more of a twist in events and 2) editing errors overlooked with Mike Dunn being referred to as Mike Black several times. Really, character names should be consistent.

So this one picks up where the other ends. Bryn is on her own and has suspicions about what happened. Jamieson finds out something’s about his family and goes for help. This book is equally hot, has a great end. Gutted to be reading the last Christmas book but I’ve loved the whole series

Destined

Really enjoyed reading this series. It must be good if I go off course and download more books when I have a full Kindle with so many waiting to be read. Highly recommend reading.

Fire

The whole series was amazing. From start to finish I was hooked. I even tried to drag out the last two books because I knew it was coming to an end. This is a must read series. And one you don't want to miss out on

Read all 3 in order

Read all three (3) in the series and so good. I still say when describing sex parts, less IS more. It doesn't have to be so descriptive. The story of the family is enough to carry the books.

What a finish

Or is it finished. It seems to me that the story and characters are kind of left hanging. I will just bide my time to see if there is anymore Christmas stories.
