Three groups of survivors have found each other during a pandemic that is changing the world and everything they once knew. Rescuing Jamie and Elijah is first up on their combined agendas. The mission is dangerous, and lives could be lost, but bringing the men home safely is the most important thing.Finding and foraging for supplies is also high on the list in order to thrive. As more and more people are added to their groups, feeding and housing them will take its toll. Banding together seems like the best idea, but will they be able to put aside their differences and work together toward a mutual need to survive.
I live on a small farm in Ohio where I tend a shabby garden, take care of my crazy horses and chickens and enjoy writing. Check out my website: www.katemorrisauthor.com for recipes from the book, my blog, articles and information about books two and three. Book Two out now.
I am the author of the new trilogy, The McClane Apocalypse. Books one and two are out now. Check them out on Amazon, Barnes & Noble or iBooks.
The McClane Apocalypse, Book One of the series. Follow the McClane family as they struggle to survive on their TN farm. Romantic suspense filled with hot Army Rangers and a broken and beautifully flawed female protagonist. Don't read chapter two if you need to be anywhere any time soon!
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LG8H7KQ The exciting second installment of The McClane Apocalypse is out now!! Fraught with human emotion, complex relationships, and the continued fight for survival, book two takes the reader on a thrill ride that doesn’t let up- not even after the last page has been turned.
I love this book. It was very thrilling and kept me wanting to read more and more. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that it ended. I just want to read more it was soo good. I can’t wait for the next one
I have really had a good time reading this. Once the groups begin to work together as on u cannot wait for them to continue as the small amount of people are getting to be attacked and eventually there will be zero people left.
Another great addition to the series!! So addicting. The characters and the plot line keep you engaged. If you love apocalyptic series you’ll love this one!! #mustread
Once again Kate Morris has knocked it out ofd the park with book 5 of the series. My only regret is that I cant move straight onto book 6 to see what happens next.
The character develpoment continues although Wren is becoming a little annoying at this point, all the others are really coming into their own. I hope that Wrens character settles down in book 6 and maybe start to appreciate those around her a bit more.
The entire series has been great, but it really needs a better editor. I’d give it 4 stars if the editing was better. The story has well developed characters that are relatable but somewhat cliche. Interesting to see how the different groups interact with the other groups and within their own group.
Not as good as the last series but increasingly satisfying. A lot of characters to keep straight but all are well fleshed out. New plots pop up quickly. Surviving is hard work!
Such another great series and so hard to put down. Thank you, Kate, for another wonderful dystopian journey! The characters and the struggles seem so real. You just want to help them out!
I usually get board reading a whole series and move on without finishing all the books. However, I really enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what happens to all the characters in the next book. I keep checking the store to see if it's available yet. I highly recommend this series.
I’m not very good at reviews but this writer is exceptional the people are uncanny in their real ness and allow the reader to really get into the story
