A fascinating and at time over whelming history of the fighters of the Marvel universe. It is difficult to encapsulate a character's entire life story in a few pages and frankly it come off at times at a rediculous soap opera with resurrections and life model decoys behind every battle and defeat, but the author does an admirable job. I recommend this for any curious about the upcoming Shang-Chi film or the character in general.
This book is an excellent sourcebook for someone new to the Marvel Universe. The information is presented clearly yet entertainingly, and fairly up-to-date. Plenty of illustrations and referrences to source material issues.
