Elite Force Commander Kol Ra’ Don Tol has been obsessed with Earth and its cultures for as long as he can remember. He’s thrilled when the gods smile on him, giving him an Ehlealah, a mate, that is human. But she’s suffered traumas and abuse that no being should have to endure. As a result, she’s not as receptive to his claim that she’s his as he hoped she’d be. He waits patiently for his female to realize what she is to him, what they are together. But instead of accepting him and falling into his arms, she runs from him — all the way back to Earth. Now he’s on a mission to find her and do whatever it takes to earn her love and bring her back to his home on Command Warship 1.

Ada Jane has lost 135 years. That’s how long she existed as entertainment to others after being abducted from her home on Earth. She’s rescued along with several other women and given the opportunity to choose their own futures — stay here, or go home to Earth. Ada Jane chooses Earth despite the claims of a very large, very blue, alien warrior who insists that she is his, and he is hers. When he prevents her from joining the others on a one-way trip back to Earth, she decides to get there any way she can. She slips away without a word on the next transport leaving Command Warship 1. She needs to see her home and what’s left of the world she left behind before she can even consider beginning a new life anywhere else.

Kol and Ada Jane want the same things out of life despite their very different opinions of exactly what that entails. They want home, love, and the security within which to enjoy it. Once on Earth, there are obstacles at every turn working against them. Will they be able to overcome all they face and find their way to each other?

I write Paranormal, SciFi and Fantasy Romance. Why, you may ask? Romance, because who doesn’t love a good romance, and the lack of reality in the story lines - because, well, normal is highly overrated. I’m 55, I have two kids, one 32 and one 12 (yes, God does have a sense of humor), one grandchild, one husband, and a menagerie of animals. Literally, too damn many things that eat wandering around our property. I love to cook, and I am a voracious reader, though since I started writing I don’t get as much time to read as I once did. I am a homebody and prefer my writing/reading time to a crowd. I have had stories and fictional characters wandering around in my head for as long as I can remember. I started letting them out into the real world and surprisingly, people have loved them. I am a Self-Published Author, and I like it that way because I can decide what and when to write. I am by no means a formal, polished, properly structured individual and neither are my stories. But people seem to love the easy emotion and passion that naturally flow from them. A bit of a warning though, there are some “triggers” in them that certain people should avoid. I’m a firm believer that you cannot have light without the dark. You cannot fully embrace the joy and elation that my people eventually find if you do not bear witness to their darkest hours as well. So please be sure to read the warnings supplied with each of the synopses about my books before you buy them. I've got three series published at this time, Avaleigh's Boys - PNR, Whispers From the Bayou - Fantasy PNR, Haven - a SciFi, and three more in process. I’m a bit sarcastic, scathing actually, and a smartass to boot, so if I offend you, it is most likely not intentional. But be prepared because it probably won’t be the last time. I’m always glad to hear from readers; those who have followed me from the beginning, and those who have just found my people. So feel free to look me up and say hello, or just follow along; either way, I’m glad to have you.

Series: Haven #3
Rating: 4 stars - It was really good

Elite Force Commander Kol Ra’ Don Tol is following his Ehlealah to Earth, even if the Cruestaci are not normally allowed to be planet side, he has been assigned as Ambassador to Base 28. Ada Jane went to Earth to find closure because it's been 135 years since she has been abducted but she needed to see her home herself before she could actually believe it. While Kol never expected to become Ambassador to Earth, he quickly home there with Ada Jane and friends who make him want to stay, but will he be able to.

After how Kol and Ada Jane’s relationship was going in the previous book I was very curious to see what would happen once Kol headed to Earth since Cruestaci have been banned from Earth up till now. Kol and Ada Jane’s relationship was a slow building one that was very enjoyable. Ada Jane is struggling with the fact that she has been gone for 135 years and her whole family, her land, and everything she knew is gone. Going to Earth was her way of getting closure and moving on with her life with Kol, even if she wasn’t exactly ready for a full mating with him yet. Ada Jane was a strong woman who wasn’t afraid to stand up for what she wanted. I loved that when Kol wouldn’t take her to work she went without him, when the doctor treated her like she was a weak woman she put him in his place, and when she was in a dangerous situation she wasn’t afraid to defend herself.

Kol is a protective warrior who is determined to win Ada Jane over. While he initially ignores her wishes to return to Earth, he learns his lesson and realizes that he needs to listen to what she wants and needs to heal if he wants to be a good partner. I really liked how he was always taking care of her and telling her how strong she was. I think my only real complaint about their relationship was how much they spent apart in this book due to various circumstances. I still really enjoyed it but I wish we had gotten to see more of them together as a happy couple and less apart.

While this book does focus on Ada Jane and Kol’s relationship, the other focus is on Base 28 and the corruption that is prevalent there. Kol has been assigned to weed it out and a good portion of this book was dedicated to that, which was actually really interesting. It was great getting to finally see what Earth is like and how a base works there, even if it was a corrupt one. I also really enjoyed all the new characters and friends that Kol made on this base, especially since it seems we ended up with two new Ehlealah’s.

Overall, this was another great couple and a great first look at Earth. Hopefully we will get to see more books set on Earth in the future.

Good read good storyline

I am a fan of this author and series. This book did not disappoint. Kol is an honorable warrior. He had so much patience with his mate once he realized she had returned to Earth. Ada Jane had been kidnapped and abused. Quinn’s warriors had saved her but she was broken in spirit. She had been away so long that everyone she knew was gone. She returned to Earth to reconnect with home and Kol followed because she was his mate and he had to make them right again. Read On!

Blue Dude

Good guys, bad guys and steamy mating romance with lots of aliens. Testosterone or whatever equivalent in Cruestaci men is in overabundance in this honourable warrior race.

Fantastic

I really enjoyed these two struggles and all that they had to go through. I especially like the letter that was left from blue dud to Ada. Great story and looking for another one soon.

You are AMAZING!

I fell in love with all your stories! You have become one of my most beloved authors. I will follow you to the end. I have waited for this book to come out and I MUST tell you it is one of my favorites. I enjoy flying through the cosmos and even wading through the mud with you and I plan to join you throughout all the journeys you take! Thank you for sharing Kols and Ada Jane's story with me. I know there is so much more to tell but I will be patiently waiting for more from you. I will probably have to revisit but it is no hardship as the characters and stories have been written with eloquence and love. You are one of my most favored authors. I look forward to many journeys with you. Thank you for making me smile and allowing me to be with you even if you have done all the work. I will continue to invest and support you from the sidelines knowing that when a story has been written I will always be there to read and follow wherever you may lead. So once again I want to thank you profusely for bringing a smile to so many including myself while I am waiting for more.

Simply amazing!

Blue dude got his HEA! this was soooo good! Ada Jane was a frustrating girl lol. Since book 2 and even some parts of this book where she was gullible with Jason she had me shaking my head lol but my gosh was this book just as amazing as book 1 and 2. I do wish we had more Vivi time though. I miss her! Having her walk around in her jeans, boots and cape just sound hilarious not to mention she always has a length of chain and a blade on her. This storyline was amazing! Kol was in the thick of it! Ba’Re and Kron are definitely going to get a run for their money! I hope we do hear more from Ba’Re. Jason will be a problem I bet. I don’t like loose ends. You’d think a warrior race wouldn’t like them either! We’ll see how that plays out. Sandra’s world building continues to just get more amazing. Taking place mostly on earth now we get a birds eye view as to what 2121 looks like and boy does it suck! Lol glad we have more of Missy! Her snark is just lovable and awesome! She’s evolving more and more. Lol maybe next book she’ll mate with a tablet! I kid, I kid! Lol. This series is amazing! By all means you should grab book one and see for yourself!

*WARNING* contains adult situations
Kol follows his mate back to Earth and finds himself in a new role that he never wanted. As Ambassador of Cruestace to Earth Base 28, he tries to find a way to balance work and home. Kol soon figures out things aren't as the seem and brings Kron and Ba' Re to Earth to help sort the bad elements. Ada Jane hitched a ride to Earth with Rokai and Rosalita, trying to get back home because she had to see for herself that all she'd known was really gone. Ada Jane missed Kol, but was told he would follow her. Kol went to the repatriation center to pick up Ada Jane and and try to get closer to her. Dr. Jason Cavanaugh is infatuated with Ada Jane and wants her as his wife and symbol of his "Purist" group.
Grab tissues, you'll need them!! There is a lot going on and the story is beyond beautiful. It was great to have Zha Quin, Vivi and Kitty make an appearance, they are rock stars!

I really enjoyed this book! I feel it is lighter than the first book in the series. Ada Jane is a little more removed from her trauma, but still suffers PTSD. Kol has gone to earth because he has to be with Ada Jane. He's pretty annoyed he now has a heinous 3 year assignment on earth. Sandra made me cry (several times!) and laugh (reference shower scene) in this story. And just let me say that kissing is so under-rated and Kol gives it some attention! I love how we get to visit with our old Cruestace friends and how they are instrumental in this book. Sandra always has an intricate, fantastically woven plot in her writing. Haven 3 is no different. I had been feeling down when I did this beta read. Haven 3 was a SUPERB distraction and definitely lifted my spirits. So well done! Don't miss this one! 5 stars!

Two boxes of tissues!

OMG! Blue Dude follows his mate back to Earth and finds himself in a new role. As Ambassador of Cruestace to Earth Base 28, he tries to balance work and home. Finding out things aren't as the seem brings Kron and Ba' Re to Earth to root out the bad guys.
Ada Jane hitched a ride to Earth with Rokai and Rosalita, trying to get back home. She needed to get home and find herself, but longing for Kol. Kol goes to the repatriation center to pick Ada Jane and takes her to where her parents are buried. Dr. Jason Cavanaugh is infatuated with Ada Jane and thinks to make her his wife and symbol of his "Purist" group.
Grab a couple of boxes of tissues, you'll need plenty for the heartache and the beauty of their love. Zha Quin, Vivi and Kitty make an appearance that you don't want to miss. Vivi is still a total badass!

Ada Jane and Kol - A Match Made in Heaven. Ada Jane and Kol's story is romantic and full of unexpected twists and turns. All Ada Jane wants is to go back home to Earth, even after she finds out she was gone for over 100 years. She has to go home to see it herself. Kol knew immediately that Ada Jane was his Ehlealah. The problem is that his race, the Cruestaci, are not allowed on Earth. Kol must be with his Ehlealah so he is assigned as an Ambassador to an Earth base. Ada Jane and Kol really start to begin their relationship although slowly. Kol finds his assignment a lot more difficult than anticipated. Ada Jane is coming back to her true self and finds herself loving Kol. Some things and people get in their way which they must overcome to find their happily ever after.

Kol and Ada Jane, where to start? Kol had me from book one, Ascend, he was there for Vivi and Quin no matter what. In book two Redemption, more was revealed and at the end I was left really wanting this story!
It was worth the wait, these two were meant for each other, they just have to learn that maybe dreams can change. They can be better, life isn't always what we want but their life gave them what they needed. Just had to be strong enough, love enough to get there.
I was cursing her in a certain part, this book got my emotions all over the place. Kol almost ties with Quin for me as my ultimate book boyfriend!
Highly, very highly recommend this!

Another stellar story!
From the very first book in this series, we’ve all been waiting to see Kol’s story (Blue Dude). Ada Jane, his ehlealha, the only one for him, has led him on a merry chase. I love the way Ada Jane stands up for what she needs. She’s perfectly able to handle unwanted attention. I think what pleases me most is that there’s little keeping Ada Jane and Kol apart. Most of the situational tension is due to outside factors. I have to laugh as I picture the blunt Elite Force Commander as an ambassador. A splendid story in an ever so thrilling series!

Very pleased

I was skeptical about Ada Jane's story because I didn't particularly care for her in the previous ones. However, the story was very sweet only reason I could only give her 4 stars is because of the constant changing of POV's I dont really care for that it gets confusing. If only she would change that up I might would give her 5 stars. I understand she probably thinks its great people being able to read about previous characters how they're doing but its too much jammed into too short of a story. Overall I would recommend anyone to read this series

Wow!!

I read a few of Sandra's other books and they were great. I was dubious about this genre so flicked to what I read most for a couple of weeks but I came back to Haven and read books 1, 2 and this one 3 and OMG they were 3 of the best books I've ever read. I loved all these characters and storyline and now I'm gutted I have to wait for the next one. I really wish I had another 20 waiting to be read in this series right now but the wait for the next book will be well worth it!!

Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this installment of the series. I loved the continued relationship of Kol and Ada Jane. I also liked the surprise of Ba’ Rae finding his mate. I love Kron and the rest of the crew. I am glad we got more of Vivi and her “Kitty” and her guards. I love their bond. But, I love the bond between Vivi and Kol and what she was willing to do for him. It was good to leave the battleship and get a glimpse of how Earth is now too. I hope we continue to get both worlds and more as the series continues.

I forgot how much I liked this series

I mean, again, if you don’t pay too much attention the style of writing with the POV all over the place, it’s actually a good book. I totally enjoyed it and luckily, I wasn’t super annoyed by Viví. Call me crazy, something about that character irks me. In any case, strong female character in spite if past trauma. Very patient male character. Their story was not easy, it also didn’t end the way you’d think it would. It’s wide open for the next book.

Blue Dude got his own story!

This whole series has been awesome but this one's brought all the characters together and they're still original and authentic as in the first and second books. I like this book bc it reminded me that these ladies are strong and reading abt their strength after surviving trauma somehow empowers me. It's a feel-good romance with Vivian back as a badass again.. Ada Jane is sweet and has a cool backstory and I'll is a badass sweetheart with BITE' lol. I highly recommend this story and this series. I can't wait for Kron and Ginger's story

A good book, except for the heroine

The heroine, Ada Jane, has all the personality and charm of a block of concrete, immovable and inert. She doesn’t know what she wants, but it all has to be her way. I’m somewhat sympathetic to this, as she’s a rape survivor and has the right to exercise her own agency for a change, but after awhile she just appears to be as boring and mindlessly stubborn as a giant slab of concrete. The hero is interesting and his story is as well, and there are subplots of interest and romance that may play out in future books.

Heroine just wants to go home. Hero wants her to stay and be his mate.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Hero keeps refusing to let her go back to Earth. She was stuck in stasis so everyone she knew was dead. Her farm has been sold. She has no home on Earth. She doesn't care. She wants to live on Earth. She sneaks away on a spaceship with one of the hero's friends who offers her a ride to Earth. Hero finds out and wants her back.

So now the hero is a local ambassador on Earth. He tries to apologize to Ada Jane and they work things out. They stay on Earth permanently.

Blue Dude gets a HEA!!! Kol, who we met in the first book in this series, follows his mate back to Earth and woos her while also helping clean up situations in the area. Ada Jane goes back to Earth to see what is left of her old life (as she was abducted in 1986 and it is now 2121).

I like how her traumatic response was handled - not ignored or glossed over but not given excruciating detail either.

I hope we see some of our other alien friends get mates and their own HEAs.

Another amazing cracker of a story!

Have been waiting so impatiently for this next instalment and boy did it deliver. Thank you SN for your beautiful stories this by far is my most favourite series of yours except for Vivi's story, that had me in tears. Beautifully written, action packed with dark undertones but boy are your HEA's packed with so much emotion. So sad to finish reading this story and await avidly for the next.

Ada Jane and Commander Kol

Ada Jane makes it back to earth and Kol follows. Ada Jane finds things have change after more than a 100 years. What hasn't changed is Kohl's love and support. Kol arrives on earth as the new Ambassador. This allows him to stay on earth and be with his mate. The story includes all the problems they face and overcome to finally find their happy ever after. 5☆ for me!

Great series!

Love this series and all the characters. From book one, I became invested in the characters and the overarching and inner connecting story lines. Even though all the stories are stand-alone romances, and a different couple is featured, I enjoyed the recurring appearance of the characters throughout the stories. As always the book is well written and edited. Waiting on Kron’s story ! Hurry !

The Haven series

When I started this series, I didn't think I would like it, however I am now hooked. My absolute favourite character is Vivian, she is awesome! She's the main female in the first book, but so far has played at least a minor role in every book. As far as this book, all I will say (so I don't give anything away) is, I have laughed, cried, and laughed some more. I hope you enjoy the series as well.

Love this world!

Kol and Ada Jane are amazing. Loved this so much. Rojas, Kron, ViVi and Quinn’s cameo was so on point!! I love these colorful guys. This book had it all intrigue, angst, and mystery. I bought this and skipped it passed other books I was supposed to be reading. Stellar world building. Nice length! I highly recommend.

A nice story.

Ada Jane returns to Earth, and Kol follows her. I like their romance, and Kol finding the corruption at the military base where he is an ambassador. There is a subplot I felt that added too much to the book. It is probably going to be in the next book. Vivienne and Kitty are in here later in the book. Overall, I did enjoy it.

I love it ..

I’ve read the 1st three books in this series ..and absolutely loved them. The authors story line in all three books is the same but totally different then, revealing the message that darkness with time and the love of a good man can fade bringing forever happiness. Oh.. there is blood, guts, testosterone and the threat of interplanetary war ..a most excellent read

I started this one such a long time ago and thought it was just my head space. I came back and nope. Its just so very stilted in conversation, dialog. There are moments that are good but I couldn't get through it. The story idea is good. I don't really remember the first 2 of this series but I don't think I'm going to go back and look either.
